Description
Located on the far northeast corner of Beaucedine Glacier, the entrance of Fei'Yin is almost always hidden by persistent blizzards of the harsh frozen northlands. This large ruin -- which closely resembles the architecture of Delkfutt's Tower -- was believed to have once been a large city of the Ancients. Now it is completely empty, except for the numerous monsters that roam its halls and chambers.
Points of Interest
- Qu'Bia Arena is at K-8 on the first map.
- The notorious monster Capricious Cassie spawns in the big room around G-6 on the second map.
- Miser Murphy spawns at the fountain at H-8 on the first map when a Red Mage with the quest Peace for the Spirit - RDM AF3 enters the zone.
- Dabotz's Ghost spawns at F-5 on the second map when the fountain is inspected by a beastmaster with the quest Scattered Into Shadow - BST AF2 active.
- Altedour I Tavnazia spawns at J-10 on the top map when a Tavnazia Bell is traded to the ??? by a white mage with the quest Pieuje's Decision - WHM AF3 active.

The X's are where debris is blocking the path, not chests. It makes it so you can't get to that part from the first floor, have to go below.
The A&B part is correct, but you can't get to B from the frist floor.
The 2 on the right are for the BC. Top one is where you eneter. Lower one is where you are kicked out to after the fight. This is also where mission 5-1 takes place.
The thing on the left on the second map is the NPC for the WarpII quest.

Hey Guys,
Just wondering if one of you could tell
me what the "Respawn-Time" is on the
"Treasure Chests" is in Fei'Yin.
I heard it was like 30 minutes, but I want to make sure by asking in on the Allakhazam forums.
So if anyone knows how long it takes for a new
"Treasure Chest" to spawn after its been opened, please let me know ^^.
ohyea 1 more question i'd like to add:
If the chest has not been opened for a period of time, does it go away and spawn somewhere else?

I'm actually tempted to say they despawn, though I'm not exactly sure. When I was killing shadows these with a WAR/NIN friend, we found a chest. At the time I had no key, and we kept going through rooms killing shadows until I finally got one. By the time we got back to where it was, it was gone. Not sure if someone popped it or not, but not a lot of people seem to ever be in Fei'Yin, and if they are, usually they're 75s hanging out on the Western Side.

Qu'Bia Arena
Description:
This dungeon consists of dungeons and creatures of pure magic. Be wary of casting spells here, as they can attract the unwanted attention of the magical creatures that dwell within.
There's also Beaudencine Glacier that connects to Fei'yin.
There are no other dungeons inside this dungeon, unless you consider the cement doors on the walls dungeons.
The only monster that aggros to magic, that i've seen, are the Elementals.
The monsters that DO aggro are only by sound, with the exception of the golems (ore golem and collossus), which aggro by sight.

Magic pots, Dolls, and Weapons are in this zone and will aggro to magic.
Most mobs in this zone seek by sound and blood.
That being undead, and bats.
Shadow's are the rare undead type that will link and do aggro to blood and sound. so be careful of that.
mob levels at the door are 40-45.
mob levels beyond that are 50-60.

Treasure Hunter
Only about a third of the mobs in this zone aggro magic, all aggro to sound. There are many Bats and also Shadows, elvaan-like undead. Beware shadows use Dimentional Death which will hit very hard unless you are serveral levels above the mobs.
Other connected area not mentioned is Beaucidine Glacer, Qu'bia Arena is inside where you can find the burning circle. Cloister of Frost is also connected where you, of course, fight Shiva.
Rank 5-1 (I think its 5-1) is fought in the arena, also MNK af1-2 cutscene is obtained there. WHM AF3 is also foguht in this zone.
I am sorry but I do not have a map of this area to post.
Please feel free post any other infomation I may have overlooked relating to this area.

Guess its a moot point now, but at the time I posted there was no description ther than the pathetic 'dungeons within dungeons where wagic aggro runs rampid' thing.
