My experience
# Feb 04 2009 at 11:04 AM Rating: Decent
I did this with my dyna ls yesterday leader told me he preffered going drg/sam instead of nin so i said ok I can do that....we were scheduled to do sandy but another group had a while to go in it so i didnt have time to research this one. Unfortunately learned the hard way mobs here have serious aoe and /nin is the best way to go but i only died 4 times less than 1k exp loss so all in all not bad at all.

Used Hourglass in Bazaar for 1 Gil

If you see somebody with an hourglass advertised for 1 gil in bazaar, don't buy it, it's used. You might mention it to the person as he/she may have forgotten to take out of the bazaar. Why do people do this?

Standard practice in Dynamis: once you use the hourglass to enter Dynamis, you immediately put your hourglass in bazaar for 1 gil. This applies to everyone entering Dynamis in the alliance.

Rationale: Recall that if your hourglass is removed from your person while in Dynamis, you are kicked out. As a result, at the end of an hour plus of tough play, there inevitably will be people that go AFK, and unfortunately this happens too often just as time is winding down and lots have not dropped because the AFK person has not bid/passed on items.

Resolution of problem: Dynamis leader spends 1 gil and buys hourglass from person that has not bid/passed, kicks them out of Dynamis, and voila! Items now drop to bidder, hopefully before time expires.

Now you know...

PS: Hug the right wall tightly when you are going past the "Death House".... and everyone passes in single file. Do NOT aggro here.

Tips

Tips for Dynamis-Windurst:

Bring Poison potions. Bring reraise because there are going to be a few total group wipeouts. Avoid the death house - do this through walking along the side wall away from death house. Walk single file. after getting beyond death house there will probably be a wipe be prepared to re raise.

MOST IMPORTANTLY. After killing off all the other trigger NM's you will head back to the area before the tree, Dynamis heavens tower. This is where my group screwed up hard and stupidly. All Dynamis areas have some wicked evil trick at the end right before the win. When dealing with Loo Hepe the Eyepiercer, sacrifice pulls must be made. When the sacrifice puller hits the NM statue, REPOPS will appear on the bridge heading to Heavens Tower! I was wary of this usual Dynamis trick but my group was acting like a bunch of immature drama lemmings because they think they are going to win and lemming-like place themselves right on the bridge... right where I suspected a repop group would appear. I was the designated puller so I was about to discuss my theory when SOMEONE ELSE decided to hit the statue... this lack of authority doomed our group. Someone went ahead and did the job I was supposed to do, the repops appeared on that bridge and that was it.

You must place your group AWAY from the main bridge have a sacrifice puller hit the Loo Hepe NM statue and KO then have main group kill the repops on the bridge. Then after this final NM is killed, the {Mega Boss} of the area will be at the Auction House. It must be kited to a safe spot at I9 otherwise there will be repops around you after killing the mega boss of evil or whatever.

So we got a person who is bring Gilsellers into Dynamis on Cait sith named Ryudo. They are trying to sell currency for 50k per single unit and 5mil per 100 unit. Well I guess Relic weapons will become harder to get if you plan on buying currency from these FOOLS.

by the way...

THIS IS STUPIDITY!

Considering if your going to sell them for that much why buy it when EVERY ONE ELSE sells for 15k??????????????????? Really its pretty stupid

Jump on the band wagon if your on cait sith!

DO NOT BUY OVER PRICED MONEY

chances are they are being sold by gilseller mules and/or Ryudo's henchmen.

Medicine required:
24 echo drops
24 poison potions
12 holy water

Statue TP attack:
Group stun
Group curse

Manifest Icon statues will use Sleepga II.

NM TP attack:
Doom - Causes death after 10 seconds. Death is avoided by using holy water.

BST pet attack:
Silencega

Statues summoning other statues:
The statues in Windurst will sometimes summon other statues that may cause the group to become surrounded. To prevent the group from being surrounded, these statues will be pulled over a longer distance. Because these statues take longer to kill, tanks must give priority to marathoning these statues away from the group. Otherwise, group stun will cause the group to be wiped out.

The statues in Windurst are said to have higher resistance to magic than in other areas, but still aren't worth meleeing.

POI 1:
Statues will be summoned to the west, so the group must camp to the west and make a long pull.

POI 2:
There are 3 statues here that must be cleared before moving on to the auction house.

POI 3:
Clear south of the auction house but don't bother with statues on top of the auction house. The statues south of the auction house roam north-to-south, so pull them when they're south or you'll risk linking statues from the top of the auction house.

POI 4:
There will be statues summoned on the bridge, so have the group camp on the west part of H-10.

POI 5:
Statues will be summoned in I-9 to J-9, so pull to east side of H-10.

POI 6:
The time-extension statue will summon more monsters, so pull to J-8. A blm gets summoned on the roof, but there's a smn to worry about first.

POI 7:
Pull to north part of J-7. A sacrifice puller can train monsters counter-clockwise.

POI 8:
Pull to west part of G-10. Two manifest icons will be summoned that use sleepga and paralyzega, so use poison potions.

POI 9:
Hug the east part of the map to avoid aggro from this entire house while advancing north. This house makes a huge link that isn't worth fighting.

POI 10:
Nuke the time-extension statue from the bridge. It will summon other monsters, but they shouldn't link the POI 9 house.

POI 11:
Two statues spawn here each time a trigger NM is killed.

POI 12:
Sacrifice puller can train clockwise.
Supposedly can take out Avatar Icon quickly to avoid big link. Use silence on Xoo Kaza the Solemn.

POI 13:
Pull to south part of F-5

POI 14:
Sacrifice pull is highly recommended, due to 6 smn + nm smn popping. Sacrifice puller can train clockwise.

POI 15:
Time-extension statue in front of Toraimarai Canal summons monsters on itself and up above, so expect monsters to come from the south.

POI 16:
Hug the east part of the map to avoid aggro from this entire house while advancing north. This house makes a huge link that isn't worth fighting.

POI 17:
Can fight this without a sacrifice pull. Statues will repop on the bridge again after it dies.

POI 18:
Sacrifice puller must attack the boss's statue to summon it and then aggro any additional summoned monsters. Train south to Windurst Woods and homepoint immediately after dying. Rush to the middle of H-11 to stay clear of repops. The boss is pulled to I-9 to avoid repops after it dies. Clear H-10 repops after the boss dies so the sacrifice puller can still receive the key item.

to the guy who asked are they going to have anything like that for lower levels my answer to you is... ya the whole game. that would just be stupid to make something like that for 15+ level 15? you havent even scratched the serface of this game and you think they should have something like that for you? you have subjob to get you have chocobo liscense to get, then you have an advance job to get. you have got alot of work to do before you start thinking about high level things

I was searching around for stats on any relic armor a few days ago and I found something on some message boards on IGN. Keep in mind that this may be made up.

These stats are *supposedly* for Monk Relic Armor:

Melee Crown (head)

Lvl 75
DEF 23
HP +4%
STR +5
ENMITY -3
TP REDUCTION? (Please, help me figure out what that means)

Melee Cyclas (body)

Lvl 74
DEF 44
HP +5%
VIT +5
INCREASES REGEN HEALING BY +6

Melee Gloves (hands)

Lvl 73
DEF 15
HP +3%
ATK +16
TP REDUCTION
ENHANCES CHAKRA EFFECT BY 2 (VIT x4)

Melee Hose (legs)

Lvl 72
DEF 31
HP +6%
AGI +4
KICK ATTACK +5
TP REDUCTION

Melee Gaiters (feet)

Lvl 71
DEF 15
HP +4%
DEX +4
GUARD SKILL +12
ENHANCES COUNTERSTANCE EFFECT

I thought this was interesting. If anyone can confirm this, that would be great.
RE: Relic Stats

TP REDUCTION means that the enemy gains less TP from attacks. This can be very helpful against high lvl monsters with devastating weapon skills.

And I'm sure that will be entertaining the first, oh..three or four times it's done. Please, the first half of the game (levels 1-60) you're learning how the game works, how your job works, and how people can best work together. You can explore new areas and do quests. You get the two most difficult genkai out of the way and finally obtain your AF, what then?

Operating under the premise that by level 60 you have seen and done a lot of what the game has to offer, Dynamis offers something new to aspire toward. With artifact armor out of the way, now you can try for relic armor. Waiting for the next HNM pop can only be so entertaining.

i think there are many other things you can do with lvl 15 or 30, dynamis is more like something for higher lvl char's that have nothing to do, my thoughts =p
#REDACTED, Posted: Mar 10 2004 at 10:56 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) well the Dyamis benifits the higher cher. but is there going to be somthing like that for the lower cher. like lvl 15+ in the future? cause they added all this new stuff but the lower lvl cher. want be able to experance it untill they get to lvl 65 or 70 and getting to lvl 30 is hard enuph.
RE: Dyamis
# Jul 31 2004 at 6:37 AM Rating: Decent
If you find getting to level 30 difficult enough, then I'm very sad to say you stand absolutely no chance in Dynamis.
