I wish I could find out the names of all the dynamis linkshells you pansys that think windy is hard are in...so that if I, for some reason, switch servers I can steer clear of your shells. I have been the main puller with Howitzer on Midgar since they started 7-8 months ago. In that time, we have lost 1, count'em, 1 run (tried for the win but didnt make it) and that was our 1st glacier attempt as the new shell. While every shell can have different stratigies for various zones, there are some comments that just do not make any sence.

Windurst is obviously not the hardest zone if we beat it on my 1st time pulling...either that or you lot really suck that bad. 5 death pulls? wtf are you guys pulling? MNK NM, kill everything that follows. Death House (how did it get this name? honestly) is done in 3 seperate pulls that have NEVER linked. BLM NM house is either pulled normally and we kill everything or I Flee/Sac pull them and the SMN house while other members grab the BLM and SMN NM's and a rdm member Manafonts the TK in the back. 2nd Sac pull, Heavens Tower, easy enough. 3rd sac pull is the Mega Boss, with time to spare.

The glacier is cake...easier then any other zone. Regular farming run involves killing all the goblins back to the TK, (sans the ones to the east of the slope leading up to the goblins) all yagudo(sans the Dynamis icon statues) quadav at the base of the slope and all remaining quadav southeast of the next slope, and every single orc in the zone.

That leaves Xarcabard to be the hardest and at the same time still relativly easy. Its strange but I have never heard of a good strategy from anyone even though its basically the same as any other zone when pulling the wall of eyes after the last group of NM's. Simply have 2 thf's claim the 2 center eyes and have all your tanks grab the demons that pop with those 2 eyes, ignore the rest. The thf with the original pull can flee to the 2nd NM camp (MNK, WHM, BST NM's) and die there. The 2 remaining pulls are easily handled after that. We usually still have an hour of farming time after that.

All that said, you all need to get into shells that actually know what they're doing. Please note, our runs normally average about 31 members.

While your whole little speech may have left you feeling good about yourslef, I just thought out I'd point out a major flaw in your "strategy" for Windurst.

If I had've known my RDM had Manafont... man oh man, I'd be tearing **** up. But wait... we don't have that? Damnit!

Also, people have been saying that you can't win with a low amount of members...
Quote:

Didn't disprove that, though I'm not saying you were trying to.

I'd like to say to all the people who are saying Windurst can not be completed without at least 20 people...
I've cleared and completed Windy with 18 on two separate occasions. I've also cleared Bastok with 14. So, uh.. yeah... better luck next time?

It's 72 real hours before you can do another Dynamis. This includes the newer CoP Dynamis zones as well. So the max you can do Dynamis is twice a week.

HOW DO U GET IN ANY DYNAMIS PLACES?WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
RE: huh?
# Nov 27 2005 at 4:49 PM Rating: Good
Please don;t type in all caps.

To get into a dynamis area, you must be level 65, zone into xarcabard and get the dynamis CS, and examine the trail markings in jeuno.

Once you ahve that, you need to buy an hourglass from one of the mobs in the beastmen strongholds for 1 million gil, get 40-64 of your friends together, clone the hourglass by using it as an item, give them all one, and then trade it to the trail markings.

you must defeat the boss of the 4 cities before you can go to the beudecine and you must defeat the boss in beudecine before you can do dynamis xarcabard.

#REDACTED, Posted: Sep 10 2005 at 1:42 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I don't really see how this one could be easier than one that you have to beat to get to it considering it has one of the highest level mobs in the entire game in it. True i have never gone thru a dynamis with less than 40 ppl and yes windy is the hardest of the first 4. I have never done xarcabard but since on 6 tries i have never lost a dynamis i can't say its as tough as you say. I went thru bastok first try with no deaths and had about 45 mins+ to farm. Beat jeuno 3 times each time had time to farm tho its tough because you have to sac pull the boss all the way back to the ent to kill him or you die. Sandy die 4 times on my first dynamis ever but was not hard. Windy won first time even tho the main puller quit the ls half way thru. we had about 30 secs left on timer when we killed the boss but he gives tou 30 mins more time when he dies pretty much the thing there is just stay away from the houses. PPL gotta realize in these and promies true killing more means more possible drops, but you DO NOT NEED TO KILL EVERYTHING TO COMPLETE THE DYNAMIS SUCCESSFULLY, so in saying that i am just saying , yay you you beat it with only 20 ppl or you say it can be done with 18....but why try...you still get the same reward as if you try with 64...and btw i have heard that 72 is the max since 64 / 6 = 10 r4 just something to think about

So we got a person who is bring Gilsellers into Dynamis on Cait sith named Ryudo. They are trying to sell currency for 50k per single unit and 5mil per 100 unit. Well I guess Relic weapons will become harder to get if you plan on buying currency from these FOOLS.

by the way...

THIS IS STUPIDITY!

Considering if your going to sell them for that much why buy it when EVERY ONE ELSE sells for 15k??????????????????? Really its pretty stupid

Jump on the band wagon if your on cait sith!

DO NOT BUY OVER PRICED MONEY

chances are they are being sold by gilseller mules and/or Ryudo's henchmen.

Huh? Why would anyone be engaged in combat with a avatar in the first place? They shouldn't have to disengage because there's no point in engaging.

RE: nice, a new area
# Nov 18 2004 at 8:34 PM Rating: Good
It's a terribly ardious process. First you need to defeat the 4 main cities, which grants you access to Dynamis-Beaucedine. Then you need to beat that to gain access to Dynamis-Xarcabard. These areas are not for 1 party. You need 40-64 people working together to defeat these areas.
RE: nice, a new area
# Oct 28 2004 at 1:52 PM Rating: Decent
I would assume that you do it the same way as every other Dynamis in that you trade a perpetual hourglass to a trail marking. I don't really know how it works though, so this is just my general understanding. I don't know the difference between Dynamis Xacabard and Dynamis Beadacine. I believe thta Dynamis is a quest and that it just takes you into the shadow world where everything is distorted and there are many statues that aggro. All of the mobs in these places are at least lvl 75, so be with a full party of at least lvl 65 people.
RE: nice, a new area
# Feb 23 2005 at 1:44 PM Rating: Decent
most of the mobs here are 80+ and you need more than a full party of 65+... I have never seen a dynamis alliance consist of anything less than 65+ mages and 70+ melee the mobs can use spells such as doom and death so you need as many people as you can get to go with you when venturing in these areas

Dynamis - San d'Oria and Dynamis - Bastok can be cleared with 25+ people if everyone knows how to do their job correctly. You'll need three or four Sleepers, two main assists, and at least two statue-kiters. The rest are just DDs, healers, and refreshers.

Dynamis - Jeuno is a little harder. 30+ would be recommended, and even then you'll need everyone to know their job well. There are several avatar pulls. Avatars can two-hour and wipe an entire alliance in one shot (well over 1,000 damage to all in range).

Dynamis - Windurst is a total slug fest. There are massive pulls that consist of eight or more mobs at a time around every corner, and there are also many avatar pulls. This is tough, I'd say 35+ but chances are you'll need 40 to pull it down. You'll need several sacrificial pullers, too, in order to seed out the bosses from the large groups of level 80+ Dynamis mobs.

Dynamis - Beaucedine hurts. Large pulls, and you'll definitely need every single person to know what to do and what not to do. You'll need sacrificial pullers who are willing to NOT get flagged for Xarcabard at the end. The boss is surrounded by four (or more? Not quite sure) dragons that will rape you. You have to get someone to pull them all back to the very start of the zone and someone else to Sleep the boss until the dragon puller gets killed at the beginning of the zone. A THF would be good, to Flee. It's very rough, with an NM on nearly every pull towards the end.

Dynamis - Xarcabard is all of this combined. I hear it can take up to a full Dynamis party to take it (meaning 64 players). The final boss (Dynamis Lord) is awful. He'll slaughter you. You'll need like 10 Rangers, 10 Black Mages, and all sorts of other crazy forms of damage to take him down in the time limit. If you're not traveling to Dynamis - Xarcabard with skilled players, you'll likely lose your entire group on the very first pull. It's that hard.
RE: nice, a new area
# May 21 2005 at 4:31 PM Rating: Decent
Dynamis - Xarcabard isnt nearly as hard as Dynamis - Windurst...
The only hard things about Xarcabard is...
1) A Pull with 3 eyes which then spawns even more eyes so that u end up fighting 7 unsleepable eyes.

2) 15 NMs, each for every job each spawned when u aggro a eye. Each pull will be 3 unsleepable 2 hr capable NMs, and 3 Vanguard Eyes.

3)Vanguard Dragons.... Mission 2-3 Dragon type, can do Body slam which does 400 - 600 dmg AOE, a breath attack which paralzyes and does 400 dmg. relatively low HP.

4)Dynamis Lord... Insanely tough boss... with AOE drain, AOE aspir, AOE Gravity + 500 dmg attack, and the dreaded...
Oblivion Smash!
AOE 1400+ dmg AOE... PAIN!

Other then that Xarcabard is cake.
by far the hardest
# Jun 04 2005 at 7:10 PM Rating: Default
This dynamis is by far the hardest.

Bastok is probably 2nd hardest because of time constraints. Beaucedine, Jeuno, Sandoria, Windurst are all easy and can be beaten with 18 if you know what you're doing and have the right jobs.

They are all hard the first time but once you've won em a few times, not too bad. Xarcabard is the only one that you really need around 50 people to win. The normal mobs are waaaaay stronger than nms in the other areas.
RE: by far the hardest
# Jul 24 2005 at 9:52 AM Rating: Decent
dude ...
for me Dynamis Difficulty goes like this

Windurst > Xarcabard > Jeuno > Beaucedine > Bastok > Sandoria

my LS has cleared Dyamis - Bastok with 1 hr and 30 min to spare and got 17 ! AFs (like 7 MNKs and maybe 4 were auto sorted)

Dynamis Sandoria has been cleared with 1hr to spare but we never really got so much AF maybe 6 or 7 max.

Jeuno and Glacier are pathetic, if u know what ur doing theres nothing that can do wrong.

Dynamis - Xarcabard... yes the mobs are very very tough, once u get to the NMs it gets ezier as long as u if good kiters.

Dynamis-Windurst IS THE BIGGEST SH*THOLE EVER. without enough BLM say goodbye to victory. Aggro statues that spawn more statues that spawns more mobs.. u cant have it any worse. JP have cleared Dynamis-Windurst with 33 ... but no time to farm

you ******* kidding me? "Beaucedine, Jeuno, Sandoria, Windurst are all easy and can be beaten with 18 if you know what you're doing and have the right jobs." um.....NO ******* WAY BUDDY! there is absolutely no way you are beating windy with 18ppl...windurst is by far the toughest with so many mobs on the pulls and the 5 or so sac pulls. bastok is probably second toughest yes..but please dont say some ******** like windy can be done with 18ppl because that is just a FALSE statement, it is not possible.

My dynamis LS has cleared Bastok, Sandy, an jeuno with 19 people, 1 Full ally and me pulling. I lead a Mage dynamis LS on asura "Manaburn". The zones arent too bad, just gotta realize what your group is capable of doing. If they can kill the train, pull it, otherwise sac pull, etc.

Check some vids on the LS's site - manaburn.adsoft.org.

Beaucedine is ok, i'd say Beauc is easier than windurst, this zone you're always short on time. There's just a whole ton of NM's in this zone.
RE: by far the hardest

Actually my LS can do all four cities and Beaucdine with 20. Have done Windy a few times with this number. We simply don't have enough people in the LS to bring more. The poster is right can do it, just no real time to farm.
