Uh no, that's wrong.

Relic and AF2 are completely different.

There's a whole set of items with "Relic" in the name. That's your Relic armor. All jobs can use it. Just do a search for Relic here, you'll see.

AF2 is just that, the next level Artifact Armor for that job, eg Monster set for BST, Assassin set for THF, etc.

Oh, and I believe that the 'H' stands for something along the lines of "Hyper" :P

wrong again;
There's the Artifact Armor(Lv50-60)
and then there's the Relic armor(Lv70-75)

no such "wearable-by-all-jobs-Relic armor", or if there is, it's not cool at all... the REEL relic armor is cool (how could a wearable-by-all-jobs armor be any coold ??????)

I'm not quite sure why I'm jumping into another semantic debate, but I'm bored I guess.

The armor sets that are class-specific and only found from Dynamis NMs are generally called AF2 by most people - I don't hear it referred to as "relic armor" as much anymore. However, if a player in their 50s (level-wise) is asking for help with their "AF2", you can be pretty sure they are talking about the 2nd piece of their regular Artifact armor set.

With regards to the posts that insist that there are named "Relic" sets, there are indeed such items - but they are ALL weapons (and usable by more than one class, for the most part eg not Great Katanas) that are found only in Dynamis. Now these weapons are absolute crap by themselves - we're talking Dmg : 1, Delay : 999. However, for the truly dedicated/obscenely rich/insane player, these items are the key to some amazing weapons.

There is an insanely long and arduous process to transform these relic weapons into a fully upgraded super weapon, each with their own specific WS (eg. Relic swords -> Excalibur, Relic Staff -> Claustrum). The details on how some of the upgrades work are still sketchy as only a very small handful, if any, NA players have actually completed this task. Mystertour is the best resource if you're insane enough to contemplate getting one of these "Ultimate" weapons.

a mix of all the previous beastmen with the addition of Shadows (Hydra Family) and I think demons as well. If you are lucky try to get the Monk's Attestation for the Relic Knuckles.

Some people call it Relic Armor some call it Artifact Armor 2 (AF2), it's just a matter of preference (and yes, I know that AF2 can also mean the 2nd AF quest). It's kinda like the whole argument over what the H in "HNM" means. It's very annoying that people constantly try to "correct" other people on these subjects without realizing that there is really no "correct" term unless SE put that term in the game.

P.S. From what I have heard though, the H in "HNM" originally meant "High" when the term was first coined by JPs because the NMs' levels were above the current level cap.

P.P.S. Don't bother to reply to the previous postscript. It's annoying, and I don't care what you have to say about the H. :P
