Description
Airships from the great nations once conducted trade through Sealions Den, a port located beneath the bustling Tavnazian Safehold. Now, the Sealions Den is used by adventurers to access the mysterious realm of Al'Taieu.
Points of Interest
- This is the starting point for the CoP mission battles PM 6-4 One to be Feared and PM 7-5 A Warrior's Path.
- After completing PM 7-5 A Warrior's Path, adventurers can speak with Sueleen to be transported back to Al'Taieu.

what it is, if you can remember from the preview of CoP when those airships are in the sky and buhamut is attacking them, thats what you do there, and it takes you to the region Al'taieu is in

The fight is the Ultima and Omgea Fight WHat it is you go on the Airship and you are in a alliance FIghting them on the Airship it is kool i have Seen pic if i can Fine the Link i will put it on here

This place is also where you fight Tenzen for PM7-5. It is an uncapped BC. You get warped to Al'Taieu after the BC and can return there by going through Sealion's Den.
Please... if you dont know what happens, dont try to tell people. Unless you are letting them know its speculation.
The swirling vortex in the dunes (and the other one in Qufim) are 'teleports' that allow you access to the Tavnazian zones after you have beaten the BCNM boss of all three Promyvions. One vortex takes you to Lufaise Meadows, the other takes you to Misareaux Coast. Both zones connect to the new Tavnazia.

That has nothing to do with this place. you are just telling us how to get to tavnazia. If people are not lying, this is where the (spoilers ahead) Airship Armada is; (where you fight ultima/omega weapon). If more people havent lied, since the last version update (feb '05 one), this will take you to the new region, Lumoria. The rest i dunno.

This zone is actually a BCNM for a Chapter 6 boss fight. To make things more interesting let's just say an airship takes off from here.

the swirling vortex takes you to the new area the tavnazian safehold, the swirling vortex only works after you have beat all 3 prominyvon's Holla, Dem, Mea. Then once your there, another prominyvon becomes avilable at the phenoma Aquaducts or however u spell it, then once you beat that one prominyvon Zvahal becomes available.... sry about the spelling lol
ya ive seen the cutscenes have the brooch and am lvling whm to 15 to go war/whm to explore promyvion but still i wanna know what the sworling vortex in dunes is for

I believe you get access to this zone after defeating Diabolos (end of CoP Chapter 3). I think the AH (which connects to Jeuno) is located here... but I'm not sure (my party will be doing the Diabolos fight on Monday)
You get here through Tavnazian Safehold. I made it to the Tavnazian Safehold and zoned into here, but there's a gate that doesn't let you through. As AtreidesF said, there's a ferry outside. Who knows where it takes you, my own personal guess is Al'Taeiu.
maybe it opens up instead of using Swirling Vortex's you can take a Fairy instead of going to the Laggiest places in Vana'diel
