Little known fact: The Valley of Sorrows is actually a lush tropical paradise. The community just named it the "Valley of Sorrows" to deter excessive tourism.
Well yeah. There's a family of mobs called the Admantoise (I think that's how it's spelled..) and from my knowledge, they can be found nowhere else. And they are Notorious Monsters. And, there's an exit on the east tail of this area that's not on the map. But it's not well hidden. This place is so small, you can see it from the western enterance, haha. It is involved in one of the rank 9 San d'Orian missions. Also, at some point in time, this place can be good for partying.

Apparently the adamantoise spaws here every 3 days. It drops some really high def armor that if forget the name of. I heard it takes 18 lvl 60+ people to be able to kill the turtle cause he's so hard. Ive been here 2 times but have yet to see him.
galka pld, whm/smn (me), thf, drk, rdm, blm.
and much more enjoyable as a white mage than crabs >.<... you only need to use viruna on the pld, maybe the mages if hate is unchecked ^^..
You also get plenty of Raptor skins, which sell for 40k a stack on Unicorn server.
