you can go to whatever big town you like from valkurm. personally i like bastok, i feel it has the best mobs outside for leveling new jobs quickly, but thats just an opinion. so yeah, you will get plenty of chances to go back to windy in the future, but for the moment id advice bastok or san d'oria, this will also give you a look at a new town!

where is the best place to sell for the most Gil for items such as... honey, onion knives, earth/fire stones, wings, and other items found in the areas around the city.
As far as i know there is one teleporter At the Chocobo stables in Windurst Woods that will Transport you to Winderst Waters which could help if say you needed to go all that way to do a quest or talk to a npc :D

Yagudo Necklaces can be traded in sets of 4 for 400 gil to the "Cat Burglar" in Far North Windurst Woods. However, u may also sell them at the auction House. My prefered way however is to use them in synthesis. Yagugo Necklace + wind crystal = 3 grass thread.
