The max level on this needs to be changed I got upto level 15 under about 9 hours, of course with help from the fields of valor and experience bonuses, but non the less i got up to level 15 within this area

does anybody know of a FFXI site that shows the maps and where the chests and stuff are? cause i now last week i was on some site that did that, so if you know please let me know

i was on my lvl 10 BRD and was omw back to bastok, when i was being attacked by a lizard... i turn around, bam leaping lizzy it killing me, i was only 10 so i had to accept defeat and then watch a blm kill him ; ; that the only time ive had claim lol

There are a lot of rumors about Leaping Lizzy. Including ones that say the spawn time is different on every server. Well, I don't know about that, but here is what I do know, based on my personal Experience.

Standard Spawn time (on Remora) is 10 Minutes to 6 hours.

Only once have saw her spawn 5 minutes after a spawn, so It's not good to base camping on the hope she will spawn in 5 minutes.

The average for a spawn is closer to 45 mins - 2 hours. So be prepared for at least that.

I have camped her 15 times, claimed her 12 times, and gotten the Leaping Boots 5 times.

The first 3 Leaping boots (9 claims) were without THF. The last 2 (3 claims), I had Theif45 (Treasure Hunter 2).

Leaping Lizzy is a TWO HOUR SPAWN. Killing other lizzies wil not make it spawn fatser, it just seems that way because you have something to do instead of sitting there wides canning for 2 hours hoping you will get find it and get it among all the other 80 bajillion rangers there camping it, and then it is not a good drop rate either, so it is like a 1/50 chance you will get it, unless you are an experienced gil seller who already has 85 milllion pairs of these along with all that other expensive stuff. While wandering around I noticed a lever and an elevator in the lighthouse. Do these objects have any signifigance?

At J-10 there are some markings on the cliff... anyone else see them? If so does anyone know what they are?

Has anyone noticed the wall cut out at J-10?

Looks like there are some cave entrances and exits way up there....but I haven't seen any way to get there. Do you guys have any ideas?

Fought Lizzy about 10 times last Sunday with my LS. Only dropped boots on the first kill.

i am level 9 and i wana make some money off crafing i wana become a kinda jack off all trades if any one wants to mail me some supplies i would be happy to make any thing for them gest get me the base stuff and masge me right now i am not to good at my crafting so if any one wants to donate to the cuse i would be happy to make them any thing thay want i gest need some raw materials to start my practice all that help me will be remmbered and documented and will get random presents from me and will have the pleasure of me makeing them any thing as long as thay provide the raw materials thanx you :)

It spawns at F-8, usually around the northern and southern corners of the grid. It wont spawn unless its after 21:00. If your thinking of camping lizzy i dont recommend it. You can easily mine, fish, or farm silk quicker. If your lacking gil farm crawlers for about a day and sell silk in stacks. You will be quite suprised by how fast it adds up. I currently make about 80k a day on silk. Agility, god from carbuncle server.

I give up. I have spent hours looking for the leaping lizzy and have had no luck. Just going to wait to build a ranger up to get scan.

I have had a lot of trouble making enough gil for new armor. I have done the steam clock quest countless times but its not fast enoguh and I dont get enough. Today I started hunting for the leaping lizzy at F8 and i could not find one. I was wondering if there is anything special u have to do to make it appear. Such as killing all the liazards around.

I found Leaping Lizzy and got the boots on Jan 4th. I used to hunt Lizzy for hours and killed her over 10 times and never got the boots... well I was on a chocobo going to Bastok for other reasons and I passed Leaper. I was in a panic but successfully got off my bird and attacked it. Nobody was near it. (Odd) Anyways, I closed by eyes and sure enough when I opened them...

"You find a pair of leaping boots on the leaping lizzy. You attain the leaping boots."

Listen guys, Even though you happen to even fight Lizzie doesnt mean you will get the boots. I fought Lizzies in the couse of about 3 hrs last night. Both time she didnt drop anything at ALL. I was pissed! Screw Lizzie.

The Leaping Lizard spawns in South Gustaberg. Next time I go hunting I'll get the coordinates. It's around a grassy skinny tall mountianous structure that has a campfire nearby with Quadovs and a load of rock lizards usually. (occasional Vulture, sometimes enchanted bones, and rarely shrapnel)

You should be able to defeat it around level 15-- depending on class and items. My level 16 hume white mage beat it solo w/o too much hassle. (over half MP left for healin)

Does anyone know
A. Where the leaping lizzy spawns (I know this has been asked before, but some people seem to be very exclusive with this info)AND
B. What level you'd have to be to defeat a Lizzy?

I could really use a pair of leaping boots, and as I don't have 200,000 gil lying around, this seems like it should be a good alternative, but I'm still waiting to find out when and where the darn thing appears!

Does anyone have the rough spawn times for leaping lizzy? I get disgusted waiting hours for him.
