Here is some of my info from my adventures in Al'Taieu:
Hpemdes- these are the weirdest monsters in here, they will "link" and follow you around just staring at you for awhile but wont attack. SMNs be warned >>>>>>>> your avatar will engage a Hpemde if it runs up to you and stares at you! We figured this out the hard way when everyone was resting up and i went afk....then the WHM's Fenrir started attacking a Hpemde for no reason, then the Hpemde attacked me cause i was in resting position.
Hpemdes will NOT aggro you unless you damage them. You can level up Enfeeble magic so well here because they wont aggro or attack you unless you deal damage to it, yes you can sit there and Provoke/Flash/Blind/Paralyze/Gravity all you want but until you DoT or damage it, it wont attack you. They also wont link and start attacking you, if you're fighting one and more come along, they'll just stare at you and swim away....but /autotarget "off" is a good idea when fighting these cause you will switch targets cause of the game mechanics thinking that they've been aggressive to you.
Xzomits link ONLY with the large Xzomit in their "family" that swims around...if you pull one of the 2 smaller Xzomits, you'll get only the Xzomit you pulled. Also they wont link up with any other Xzomits after you pull them, not even with the "family" that it came from if it runs past you and you're fighting it.

Random statements regarding names and some enemy behavior:
Ul'- enemies are weak.
Om'- enemies are stronger.
Ru'- enemies are, as far as I can tell, only seen as spawned mission NMs (Ru'Aern).
You can't see any enemy's name, or target it or affect it in any way, unless it's on the surface. (Meaning you can't tell if that Phuabo is an Ul'Phuabo[/url] or an Om'Phuabo until you aggro it and make it surface.)
-Phuabo enemies are those manta-shark things under the surface that are true sight and aggro you (sight, I think, because you can run along behind them and not have them see you, but if you're in front of them they'll pop up). Haven't fought many of these.
-Hpemde enemies are those red things that can lurk beneath the surface like Phuabos, and pop up to say hi to you (and subsequently just stay up on the surface), but don't attack. They do "aggro" in the sense that they follow you around, but they won't ever hit you, just get in the way of any AOE moves you might've otherwise wanted to use. Eventually, if they're following you, they get bored and go away. Doesn't seem to happen as much, if at all, if there's more than one - perhaps they "link" in the same way, and thus will immediately regain interest if they lose it?
If you *do* decide to fight one, they have an ability they can use to remove any debuffs you put on them. And if they don't have any debuffs to remove, they'll AOE you instead when they get TP. So just fire off a Dia whenever they remove their debuffs, and you're safe from AOEs as far as I can tell.
-Aern enemies are Al'Taieu's version of beastmen. They have the usual job-specific selections of abilities. The WHMs can even reraise themselves (which came as a big surprise to us the first time), and the DRGs summon a "Wynav". They're the blue things with what looks almost like wings that float around on the surface. They don't aggro, but they do link. It's hard to tell what job they are before they start using specials on you, except by looking at their weapons.
The Ru'Aerns you have to spawn and fight for your first mission after getting to Al'Taieu, have 2-hours as well.
-Xzomit enemies are those floating squid things that are constantly moving, with a big one in front and two smaller ones behind it. They seem to link by sight. Pulling them is a pain because they never stand still. Like the other surface enemies, they don't aggro.
-Yovra enemies are those UFO jellyfish NMs that drop down from the sky on top of you if you're not actively looking up to keep an eye out for them. In other words, they (true sight) aggro if you walk below them. Probably sound - i.e. proximity, even if they are way up in the air - rather than directional sight aggro. They lose interest if you run away long enough though. Which is good because it takes forever to kill one.
They have insane auto-regen (can't be dispelled), a ton of HP (especially the Om'Yovra but even the Ul'Yovra), en-paralyze, and a variety of interesting specials. Including AOE charm, AOE gravity, and AOE remove-all-equipment (which is a riot).
Note that if you Sleepga the charmed people, it won't hit the Yovra, and if you Sleepga the Yovra, it won't hit the charmed people. (Same for Horde Lullaby.) Keep that in mind when targeting.
Despite being NMs by checking them, they're relatively plentiful (not all over the place like the rest of them, but you don't have to wait a few hours before anyone sees so much as one Yovra).
All of these enemy types (and yes, that's everything you'll see there) drop their respective EX organ, and can drop crystal clusters. All of them (even the Yovras) are sleepable with both Lullaby and Sleep, but they're light-resistant. (They also tend to resist Thunder nukes if I recall. Perhaps they resist fire and wind as well, haven't checked.) So anything stronger than EP-DC will probably need a Light Threnody before Lullaby will land reliably. Sleep never had any problems landing, except for the mage in question being interrupted by being hit.

"Al'Taieu" is called [Sea] since it's located on a Sea cut away from Vana'deil filled with blessed water...

Terminology used in auto-translate will be {sea} if this is correct, and yes this is technically another "sky"....sky is only available to players who did the Zilart Missions.....sea is only available to players who did the Promathia Missions.....hence why people call it "sky #2".
I've also heard there are terrestrial avatars in Grand Palace of Hu'Xzoi (whatever that means)...and there's probably a same set of "gods" and "triggers" there as well....Kirin +1 okgo!
Also...those pics are freakin sweet! now i wanna do Promathia missions too =/
So far, my CoP static have found nothing interesting in the Grand Palace of Hu'Xzoi.. But it's not that we have been looking hard either. I believe the current thought is that there are not "interesting" NM/gods in Al'Taieu. Maybe for the next update/patch they will add some. There is an elevator that is suppose to goes both up and down in The Garden of Ru'Hmet, but as of this latest patch, it only goes up. So, I'm sure they will add something below one day.

Sky is above land elevation, Sea is below.
But the Moon is in the sky.
So because we have a Sky and we now have a Sea, there should be a Moon?
Well, there sort of is a moon in sky.
In the depth of Ro'Maeve there are two doors labelled Moongates.
They're usually open during full moon at night when the moon is visible in the Ro'Maeve sky...or if you have a moongate pass.

It's Al'taieu...God get that thru your heads.
Yes, it's like sky v 2.0 (aka. Tu'Lia 2), however, this is Al'Taieu and is probably going to be referred to as Sea. I don't exactly know why, the termonolgy I heard is only word of mouth and from reading various things, so it's by means nothing indefinate.
