after winning i whent to dark cluster to see if you could make anything with it as i know you can a battery with lightning clusters then i wondered if anyone had anyother clusters from getting 400 also, then i saw this and looked only to find that it was spelled right :[ well i guess once cought everyone fixxes their mistakes.

You can only roll once a day? This "keep paying ...keep playing" line suggests you can pay another 100 gil to roll again that day, but it won't let me... so I guess not. :(

I play this game every time I can. I've won it twice. The first time I won it rolled 400.

Obtained: 10,000 gil
Obtained: Water Cluster

The second time I won it rolled 401.

Obtained: 10,000 gil
Obtained: Red Rock.

I vote yes - I've stood around in Rabao while LFG and played at 10 mins before day change, stuck around, played again, and the total was 9 higher (including my roll of a 2) despite noone else approaching... same thing in Norg, stood around just before day change, played, and the total had gone up without anyone else being around.

Thus, logically, the two have got to be tied. You'd need a friend in Norg to play directly after you though for true verification.

The exact text from him is as follows:

One game of Lucky Roll is played each Vana`diel day.
One play is 100 gil, but as long as you keep paying, you can keep playing.
For each 100 gil, you get one roll of our six-sided die. The number that apears is added to the running total for that day.
The lucky adventurer who rolls the die that gets the running total over 400 wins...get this..a whopping 10000 gil!
And that's not all! You'll receive extra prizes if the total comes to 401 or 402, and a super bonus prize if your roll brings the total to exactly 400!
But be careful; the only time you can find out the running total is after you have rolled.

I think the way this works is you pay 100 gil and roll a dice. You can roll anywhere from 1-6. If your roll puts the "running total" at 400 or above, then you get 10,000 gil and an item. Not completely sure, but I think that's how it goes.
