Standing right next to the little guy (in the past), I get a <pos> of E-9.
Btw, in the cinema that starts when I talked to him, I was asked to massage his head, stomach, or cheeks. I rubbed his tummy and heard all about how he hasn't been eating because of his anxiety over the destruction of the town. Not sure if he says something different for each option you pick, but it doesn't appear to be a quest - just a conversation with one of the locals.

Fix the freakin locations on these NPC's please. this is the second time tonight I have had to log out to find the real location of them.

Ranpi-Monpi is actually located at the upper Windhurst Waters E-8 in the Culinarians' Guild.
