Unless no nation controls the Norvallen region and the Culinarian's guild is sold out and you're REALLY DESPERATE for blue peas do NOT buy them from him. The price is the same but you have to put up with a wordy speech about Altana every time you buy ONE pod from this NPC, and you have to go through the trade interface to give him the 70 gil. Slow, slow, slow. Only for the extremely patient/desperate.
