how often does it use chaotic eye would u say?
If you have TH1 or 2 it really helps with the drops.I have TH2 and the meat,wiskers and hides drop like mad. Also if you can deck yourself out in Steal+ gear, because you can steal a wisker alomost everytime.

I went to look for these last night and I couldn't find any, then suddenly I saw two, and then when I killed them, I saw another two. They gather near the entrance to Sanctuary of Zitah. There is a lot there but none in other parts of the area.

Coeurl here seem to have on average 500-600HP, as a 55War/Nin easy to farm, miss me almost %100 of the time. Hide's are more so rarer drops, meat and whiskers seem to drop quite frequently on everyday for me, including Darksday. Meat seems to drop more frequently on Watersday
I go here to kill these for my leather craft if you craft the hides they are 5k each on my server and 65k for a stack of leather. I usualy make a deal with a thf with th2 so they get all other drops all i get is the hides and we slaughter them. :)

I think this is the first monster I've specifically targeted for farming purposes... before this, my money-making strategy was, essentially, run-around-Pashow-and-kill-stuff. Not enough there to justify pre TH2 farming, or so the drop rate was telling me.
Now, I'm hunting these, and making much better money. Hides drop fairly regularly with TH1, and go for 3k on my server, if slowly. The hardest part is finding them, in my experience; somehow having access to Widescan would probably be very beneficial. A nice early source of funds. (At lvl 40 MNK, I don't even have to stop to rest. <3 Chakra ^_^)

A friend and I went there last night we where the only ones in the area. i was useing my 38Thf/9RNG just for wide scan and we where getting drops like crazy i would use SATA+WS and BAM! dead courl lol we had a blast and made a good profit we plan on going back tonight. this is a graet farming monster i would recamend it to anyone who is hurting for gil.

I love these things..really i do. No one ever farms them, but they're sooo totally worth it. Hides (the rare drop) sell for 2k~ each, whiskers sell for 8k a stack and drop basically every time, (in about an hour you can get 2 stacks+ of these) coeurl meat sells for about 5k a stack but i sell it in a shop for 270 each ^^ and then if you have signet and *if* they con EP or higher you can get a lightning crystal =) Hides sell really fast too at least in Jeuno lol. The only problem with coeurls is Blaster. It sucks when you're a thf like me, but they're still really easy to kill as a 33 thf/16 nin (which is what i am) So happy coeurl hunting, but please leave some for me ^.~

RDM at 25 can solo them if I put up protect/aquaveil/enstone/blaze spikes/random various buffs. Start out with bind, throw in some nukes, and when the bind wears it's slicin' and dicin' time. You should survive. And they're mostly along the road to zi'tah.
Edit: I've seen 2 WS so far from these, Chaotic eye (silence) and Blaster (paralysis)

Coeurl spawns in norhtern part of the area(near the spine) and drop the Coeurl Whiskertoo.
