These also drop Eastern Gem - going for about 6k in Jueno AH on Quetz. Not sure if needed for a quest or synth but definately drops Eastern Gem.

I think these are Mnk type mobs. They would occassionally counter my attack and usually did a double hit like a Mnk.

this just dropped 'a pair of mermaid hands'

item is rare/ex...fought about 30 of them so far and got this drop...

also, i believe this drops 'a pearl' as well...it's either the creek or the river sahagin that does...

and mermaids earing doesnt give enmity, in fact there is no such item as mermaid's earing :) there is a merman's earing tho and it reduces damage taken by a few %
