Call out to people in Fairy. im a 61Thf who has this camp down to a T, looking for someone else who knows this camp well to partner up. One thing you must have is flee, give me a /tell Bubachibachi and we can go make some gil. split 50/50. theres the Kote anf Fumes, 3-4mil and 900k, plenty of gil to share.

I decided one day to try camp for the kote for my samurai. When i got there, there was about 2-3 people there. I had a lvl 50+ thief help me get the claim and drop. We got 2 claims within the first day. However now drop then the next day we get 3 claims, no drop. We tried SATA to raise up drop rate but it didnt work. Would it help to bring more than one thief with treasure hunter 2?
i got bored farming tree cutting so i diced hey why not give this a shot so i go down and i see like 15+ people and 2 of my freinds so i join up with them. about 15 mins later the guys pops and befor i can even hit my macro this guy is claimed by my fredin and im like wtf man how did you do that bu he wouldnt tell me so if anyone knows how to set up a good marco plz send it as a msg to me

What you have there good sir, is a bot =P, not a good macro.....well, actually, think of it as a VERY GOOD macro.
His 'friend' is a bot? What do they talk about... must be hard to relate.
Yes its possible his friend bots... Idk why people think bots can't actually play either. Good friend you got there.

Hey guys, I just want to ask, is there anyway I can take this guy as a WAR40/THF20? Like even if I had to use 2 hour, or bring a bunch of x-potions. I need a lot of gil for goldsmithing and equipment at this level and I'd like to know if I could take this guy. Ochuido's Kote is about 2.2 million gil on my server, and if that thing sells I'll be rich!
You should beable to solo mee degi as 50 thf, sub war for voke is most definately or bst for charm.
bring bloody bolt and you shold be fine.

Well here is my story,
I was camping intulo in bibiki bay when my buddy send me /tell come camp NM in castle, i was like what r the drops he was like 800k and 2 mil.
So i decide ok ill go for a bit its getting late.
we were both tired and we couldnt get the claim that night. so i went to bed.
Woke up the next morning and my buddy had just logged in as well so we team up still in castle O.
about 10 minutes later mee degi spawns we get claim, and lord and behold we get the damn *** drop ochuido kote.... we both cheered and went abouts our way with 1 million in gil each.
so my saturday i made 1 mil in about 15 minutes of waking up....

me and a friend were camping mee deegi together today just before maintainance , i had also camped it for about 10 hrs the day before on my own and didnt even get a claim .I really need these O.kote for my sam and cant be bothered to cough up 2.5mil to buy em and that gil will go to gilsellers anyway. so we are there with this party of 4 gilsellers with sh*t equip as usal . now the gilsellers wont even bother to kill the PH till its one hour after the spawn time well me and the friend decided that we might as well claim the PH so we did we took him to the altarroom zone and just kept him asleep till the server maintanec would nearly start and kill him . but when it came near to an hour after mee deegi was last kill the gilsellers started saying pls kill it we refused . so they ran off somewhere and minutes later we saw them bring in a whole train . and zoned it right by us so they aggroed blah blah blah but some how we managed to live and still have claim on the PH we didnt kill . we called a GM after wards as usal no reply tried 3 times after that and they said some BS about looking into it . we then took the yagudo all the way to the door with the levers and droped down into the room where we kept him till the maintainance start and e killed him . then logout and hopefully mee deegi will of spawned and be waiting for us when we get back . lets hope the gilsellers arnt though .
I think you no better than the gillsellers if you own a PH. I am not suprised they tried to mpk you. i am sure the GM would have told you the same. Your actions where no better than what they did to you. You tried to claim an unfar advantage by holding the PH until maintinance what makes you think just because an NM is camped they are gillsellers? Anyway we all have the same spells and attacks so just wake up. Get a load of friends and go camp the NM. That way you may get a better chance. Maybe thats what the players where doing that you saw? Ok now I am finished you can reply with the usual small minded abuse that I see so much of around here.

It didnt pop b/c you or some one else mesed up the spawn time. Mee Deggi Has only 1 Ph its a Yag that walks in the water. You will see all Yags stay on land except for one that will walk on water thats him. If you kill all the other aygs Mee Deggi spwan time will be delayed the 1st I camped Mee it didnt pop 10hrs b/c I didnt know what I wuz doin. After close observation of Gilsellers I figured it out.
jeez ive been camping him for 6 straight hours and he hasnt popped, do you guys think SE changed the pop time on him? ffxi.somepage says its supposed to be once every hour, and yes i was killing the place holder

u might be camping in the wrong area... first time my friend led me to mee we were accidently camping quu domi >< ... otherwise u might have just missed a pop

Does anyone know the drop rate on Mee and Quu... I'm trying to save up for Cross-Counters and such... started off 2/3 and was loving it. i'm now 2/17, maybe 18... i lost track. I can beat the GS pretty good sometimes, but i cannot get the drop. I'm not even using WS or any other evil karmas. thanks for your help
Today i was at Mee Deggi's pop area, and there were 2 gilseller groups there, totaling to 7 people, and then 4 non-sellers. 2 of the non-sellers were in a pt and asked who here was a gilseller. I was here yesterday, and the SAME people had not left, so i easily pointed out to him which of them were gilsellers. They were astounded, and said if i managed to get the claim, they would help me kill (since i think i might of died trying as a 49 WHM/24BLM) and if it dropped they said i could have it. I told them if they help me (if i got claim) they could have 100K each after it sells, because the O. Kote is 1.4-1.5mil on Valefor, and I really don't need that much. Anyway, the placeholder time comes and i get ready. Everyone met at this corner for somereason, and everyone went the SAME direction...except for ME! So when I am running my way, I see Mee Deggi, and claim him (teh wootorz). The 2 poeple said they would help me, and they did ^^b. The gilsellers were slapping and i was laughing. Then after we killed it, i see this on my screen:

We all went :O! and then they actually DIDN'T scam me :O. I gave them 100Keach as prmoised and i am now 1.4mil richer ^^. Clothcrafting time!

Alright, can someone tell me exactly how long does it take about to camp this thing and have it pop?

im currently lvl 41 sam and gaining fast. could i solo this soon or with a whm to help cure me?
Well i caught one of the gilsellers today taking the PH running to the two levers, falling down, then killing the mob just so i coulnd't get the tod. WTF, and the day before Mee didn't spawn at all in 6 hour time frame. No Ph's popped either, best i could figure someone was holding the PH somewhere, but i coulnd't find em ><
Still haven't gotten my kote, and these guys are really fast but your posts are really helpful. At least now i now when to look, where, well that's a different story
a little update since i posted the camping method to him.. i have friends that camp him relentlously now, and have just about ran all the gil sellers out of there. they may get 1/10 spawns if they are lucky. its no longer profitable for them when 1/2 the server knows how to camp him and how to beat them at their own methods. i'm working on a map of the normal mob's in the area and where they walk to help anyone point the placeholder out much easier, and i will post that when im done. so dont give up!

The gilsellers here do not bother me that much, because I can still get the Nms faily easy and it is fun. The thing that is killing me is that I am 0/7 on both Mee and Quu and then my friend comes up gets Quu once and gets drop. I really hope I get it today!
It seems Mee will pop, then an hour later quu will pop, then an hour late mee will pop. But they won't pop at the same time. So do they just switch up on who spawns?
This guy is my next target so i can get the o's kote for my MNK. But the gilsellers here, now i can't prove they are gilsellers but they are here 24 / 7. Alin and zanishi (sp?) and they are soooo fast it unreal. I've gotten him once out of seeing him 5 times. I'm still fine tuning how to hunt him. Seems there's a different way for each nm, but is so far has been the most challenging. This is tougher than hunting stroper chyme, but then again maybe that's cause stroper pops so much. /sigh, i'm not ready to give up yet tho
*Camped him for 7 hours last night these guys were getting everyone so i moved to a side away from them hoping for an off pop. Well then they moved from where they've been for the last 7 hours and camp ontop me, what do you know he pops by me, and they claim, latency is killing me here (i've seen him and voked him, but they always get the claim even from behind me) and start sending me ^^'s in /tell. This is unreal T_T *
