when i was my level 53 BLM, i died, from that FREGGING HUNDERD FIST!

I solo'd this punk as level 41 Drk/ 20 Rdm. When i hit 400 Hp i used Blood weapon got my self back to full until he used 100 fists then mines wore off. Stunned him and 100 fist was gone cure II'd myself and finished him off and got the drop. Awsome weapon if your Great Axe level is high mines is only 20 ><.

Could i solo him as a level 45 mnk?

ok well im up in the tower farming and i see mimas and figure i have killed him befor might as well do it again might get a drop. well im talking to my friend wile im beating him and all of a sudden im getting hit non stop so im trying to get off a cure 3 because hes getting me really low on hp's then my friend says watch out for 100 fists and im like wtf is going on 100 fists aww man how many has he hit me for so far (screen was all red from him hitting me. get off my cure's and he finally stops i have him down to a sliver of health and then he uses "Grand Slam" lol well he hardly moves my hp's wile i hit him for death blow. only got a mere 150g no drop ; ;

EDIT: well i waited for next spawn and hewas sure to use 100 fists aling with "Lightening Roar" towards the end, me 2 him 0 still no drop

Edit 2: ok now at thins point i am curious as to how many special moves this guy has so im going to stick around for a wile, third fight guess what he used... you got it 100 fists kinda expected it well now for his final move befor i killed him he used "Power Attack" i killed him waiting for 10 min to go by.....

Edit 3" well here we go for the third time no drop jsut bad gil took 100 fists and a desprate attempt to "try to dmg me with "ImpactRoar"

100 fists totally threw me off and kinda scared me, but I did fine as a lvl 50 beastmaster w/a Keeneared Steffi. nowhere close to killing me or my pet, but quite a shock :x

I got the axe and 69 gil as my drop XD

I was farming and a friend of mine was also up there with me (but not in party for gil purposes). He was a 63 RDM and was killing it everytime it popped (10 mins or so) but wasn't getting the drop. It used Hundred Fists on him each time and managed to hit him most of the time before he could kill it. He logged and so I decided to give it a whirl. Killed it in no time. It didn't hit me once at all even when it did Hundred Fists. I'm a 51thf/25nin and my evasion is currently at 157 (if I remeber correctly). The axe dropped for me and its averaging 10k on Unicorn as of 5/18/04.

holy crap are these rare drops. . . ive killed him MANY times, and nothing but gil. . . ive killed Enkelados once, nd he dropped some socks. . . they smelled bad, so i let my whm friend have them ( ;] lol) anyway. . . its a rare drop. . . and the axe doesnt even sell for a crazy high amount =[

If you have a 37pld with flash in the group have him/her cast it right before this guy uses his 2 hour. I did it on accident after this guy spawned on top of us after finishing mission 4 and he hit me twice in the entire 2 hour duration.

Very easy NM ... MNK45/thf15 solo with no problem.. appears every 20 mins about~ killed it 6 times... no drop... btw the 100fist is weak... the thing never touches me 1 time when it unleashes 100fist... very easy. You all just need to work on your evasion some.

We were helping someone finish mission 9 one day, so I zone up to the top floor before everyone, and see a Lv60+ rdm in AF finishing up a thunder elemental and heading towards the Mimas. I run up to the thing hitting the macro for stun about 50 bajillion times while the guy engages it. I beat him to it, 'cause I'm cool like that, and proceed to face bashing it with nukes, until it used hundred fists and kept on interrupting my spells, and so I refill my HP with a 192HP drain, ready for another round, then the sam in my party runs up and kills it ( no drop). :\ That's my story. I was a 60 blm at the time.
