So Raptor trousers are for sale...... for 250k

I need them for my JSE but none have sold on the jeuno AH for weeks... so i guess its time to look for someone to craft them. SE is so friggin stupid

Please note, most guild shops buy alot of items that can be synthed. Many people sell items they synth to re-coup costs, or just to get rid of an item they haven't been able to sell in AH. If this is not an item the guild normally carries, the guild will turn around and offer the item for sale to Players... However, they will never carry a stock more then what is sold to them, thereby some items which you may see from time to time (e.g. Dhamel leather), will not show up consistantly.

Confirmed, no Dhalmel Hides or Leather anymore for some unknown reason, even checked with a mule that was a Sandy citizen and I have maximum fame in all cities, including Sandy.

They do not sell Raptor trousers either. San D in 1st place too. They DO not carry Raptor Trousers. May have been changed in an update. Gotta love SE's madness.

Some items you synth can be NPCed to a guild salesman. They will only have it available if someone sell it to them. Example of this is Honey for the Cooking Guild. I have tested this theory myself. Also the amount they buy off players will be the amount available for purchase. Maybe this is the reason why they sell it sometimes.

That's also the order the goods were displayed to me on Asura server. And I noticed the price of Rabbit Hides changing quite a bit quite often, so I can't guarentee that these prices are always accurate. The game-day after I typed all this out, Rabbit Hides had increased to 58 gil, and Sheepskin had increased to 144 gil, yet Dhalmel Hides hadn't changed at all, still at 1,890 gil.

Prices of guild merchants are based primarily on supply and demand. If a lot of people buy the item, especially to the point that it goes out of stock (and it can - often), then the price goes up. If you sell the items to the merchant (though they only take items that they sell) then the price goes down.
I'm not sure if fame plays a factor or not; I find that most times it's cheaper for me to get craft supplies from the regional merchants, where I know my fame helps.
