Has anyone ever noticed all the botters that just sit at the spawn 24/7 and 365 days It's getting a little bit pathetic that these people resort to such cheap ways of playing such a great game.

Srry bout all u people who camp 4-6hrs striaght w/o getting the drop >.< But I'm still gonna tell my story. Well it all started yesterday.. i was camping Spook / CG and in the morning i waited for like 10min and its 20:00 for the first spawn of Spook, i kill him ... no drop, next spawn i kill him , i get the "Travlers Mantle" Yea!!! , next Spawn i get a Root >.< Then its time to go to school. I come back from school decided to camp CG wait for 30min it spawns i kill him a DIng Ding!!! "Martial Slacks" Yea!!!
I start Exp'n my Brd and come back later... 20min of camping CG and it spawns... Boom!!! "martial slacks" Yippe!!! im so excitted. Now I'm 130k richer in 1 partial day.
-Note : I had TH1 At the moment and i think it really helps.

Camped this sucker for like 5 hours yesterday. Last time I got the slacks... making me 1/5. (too bad I didn't chekc ah prices went from 60k to 20k on my server T.T)

Yeah, so I'm like 0/4 on this thing. Havn't had this much trouble with gettin' NM drops yet. I gotta get me those pants. This guy is always (almost) camped on Caitsith. There's usually 2-3 ppl in the room so its always a battle for the pop. A jump attack usually takes care of that. And p.s. "/em calls dibs on the next Crypt Ghost!" does NOT work. Some people are so rude they will take it anyway.
Camped this guy today.
Killed round after round of Tomb Bats, and after about an hour and 50 minutes, it finally spawned. The Crypt Ghost is not a NM, as it conned as Too Weak to be Worthwhile to me. I got the Cotton Cloth, and that's it. :\

Ive camped CG a couple of times... it seems to me that it spawns almost every 1hr 5-10min. I dunno if that works everytime but all the time i camp him thats when he spawns. and yes the drop rate does suck, maybe thats cuz i dont have TH1, i dunno if that even help, Any comments ?!?!?

About TH1, from my experience, it does not help at all with good drops. It seems only to work with common items. TH2, however, is a different story.

This, contrary to popular belief, is not a timed spawn. You can predict the time, but the spawn is not based on a certain amount of time elapsed. Here's how it goes:
Groups of 3 bats spawns every 8 minutes from last time they were killed (unless someone screws up the spawn rate by killing them at irregular intervals). Crypt Ghost spawns on the FIFTH group of bat spawns since it was last killed. It will spawn in place of one of the bats. I have tested this by killing crypt ghost, then sparing the next set of tomb bats for another hour. I kill them...no pop. I never get a pop until i've killed 4 groups of bat spawns...then it spawns on the 5th group.
And,yes, this drop rate sucks. I'm currently 15/63.
PS...all you impatient Auction House sellers suck. These used to be 30k on Titan...they have now been undercut to 15k by a group of ppl that can't wait to get their money.

Ugh srry about mis-post, but i love this guy and he loves me im 4/5 and i plan to keep it up because hes never camped when i am on and the slacks are going for 28k so im gana keep up the killing

you guys seem to have CG down to a science. i have yet to see him pop less than 1 hr and 10 min tho. to my experience he favors the north wall. this of course cant always be the case but more often than not he pops there. thats pretty much all i can tell u. all other basis is covered in this thread. so i will now leave you with a story of pure luck.
for some stupid reason i go into the tomb and hunt CG as thf/rng...why? dont ask i cant tell u. at the spawn site im competing against a pld/war and a rdm/whm of high lvls. both japanese. now how am i supossed to get CG against that?! well i'll tell u. luck. straight from the devil.

I needed some money, so i decided to camp this guy 30k for slack in Garuda not bad. When i came in i was alone, then 20min after this lvl 50pld shows up. surely 10mins after the pld gets him. I didn't give up, so i stayed for another hr i got him this time no drops. Finally after about 5hrs after my 4th time i got the slacks.I tried again couple days later, but to many jp players camped him, therefore i gave up on him oh well one slacks still good ^^

Well if you've read my comment on spook just wait and read this...Ok I've been camping this for maybe a day and I'm 1/1...hmm he is pretty easy and to tell the truth I do NOT have a strategy for this mob. I just kill bats like crazy and spam after every round of bats ^^ ok Just wanted to post See ya'll on the Goblin Gruel...

ok ive campd this 4 a week now i have found the pattern it spawns once ever 70 mins and to tell what time it is going to spawn add 3 ingame hours to the last time it spawns so u need to wait 27 hours b4 it spawns btw im 4/7 on him he is a ez quik way to make gil

I'm getting pissed off now. I've been camping this thing for about a week now. I haven't been on constantly (I don't get paid to play this game) but when I am on i'm in the tomb trying to kill this guy for the martial slacks. He does spawn about every half hour and about every half hour someone comes along waits about 10 mins and gets the kill. I'm 0-4 so far on this guy but i've had about 4-5 kills stolen from me. I'm just venting right now so i'll calm down in a little while. DAMN THIEVES and not the job class either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In my experience in camping this NM, it is not every five spawns of bats. Each spawn is 7-8 real life minutes apart. The ghost spawns 56-80minutes apart. Majority of the time it is 72 minutes for me, on the 9th spawn. 5 spawns would mean every 40 minutes, which I have never had happen. 3 sets of bats are the place holders, have to kill them to get in sync with the timing for next pop. 20-25 on this NM is a little hard to believe for someone camping it. Maybe if you happened to pass by and see it 25 times, than dumb luck may lead you to an 80% drop rate, but just straight camping it, no way would it drop 80%.

i first heard about this guy from a friend he said his drop rate is bad thou so i thought i will try. I go and wait about 20 min (RL time) and i see him so i use jump and i killed him in 3 hits got the drop and so far i camp him alot but i am 20/25 on this guy and i love it ^^. (and for the record book this guy isn't a NM he is a normal mob it con's too weak for me)
P.S and he spawns once a vana day from when he was killed.

From my experience with this mob, he pops between 40-90 minutes from the last time he was killed, in place of a Tomb Bat. I've never gotten the slacks off of him, but then again, I never realy minded because i only come to the crypt to camp it in between Spook pops. I'm about 0/5 on him. Unless you're broke, need the slacks, or have bad luck with the Spook, i'd say stick with other NM's.

OKAY! I have kill this guy 4 times, and have yet to get a drop. I can confirm, much as others have, that it spawns around every 1.5 RL hours/ 27 Game hours. Also, I tend to notice that when the bats seem to stop spawning (I know this sounds odd, but they just seem to stop) that the CG will be popping soon. Ah well 0/4......
Well, i was on my alt in Sandoria and everyone was talking and shout and stuff so i randomly said "Hi, I'm Seffy." and no one believed me o_o So i said "OK! I'll just log onto him now :P" So, i log on and i'm in the crypt's room. I see 2 bats and i turn around, and there he is! I kill and get the pants! Sooo i am now 4-6 on this guy (thats 100k !) Then i run to the spook area...and...there's the spook! I kill..no drop. I wait a little while...and he spawns!! Sadly..no drop again :/ I am hunting him now XD I just am taking a break while waiting for night :D Well...hmm better get back on XD
