Just took him out with 3 people 75NIN, 75THF, & 74RNG. Was a lot of fun and fairly easy the NIN & RNG prolly could of duod it. Took 3 hours to pop with 2 exp pty's there & got the axe so it made my day. :)

I forgot to post this here. I think it's on the forums still though, somewhere. In any case, I made a video out of this a while ago; the day after I fought it (and posted what I did a little ways down). It was my first major video so forgive me on the quality. =P

My 63-64 exp party spotted it last night, so I asked a couple lvl 70+ buddies to help us kill it. You cannot, I repeat, CANNOT head on tank this beast. His defense will make you look like you are attacking it with the chaosbringer only bringing in 5-20 dmg...64 maybe, if you happen to hit it with a weapon skill. You have to kite it with magic. We had 3 rdm nuking it from afar while myself 2 war/nin (myself included) and a mnk/war chased down the crab and whacked it as if running after a blm during ballista. As the crab would run after a mage, another one would nuke it and it would change direction. We had it going in circles for 5 minutes doing this and we got the fransisca. Thanks to everyone that let me receive the fransisca. Kudos to Naethan, Sea, Etoner, Photekk, and my exp partners Bouts, Llamsothehuge, Salacious, Valdek, and Aavtis...superb job.

0/4 drop of cloth

Anybody have an idea of the spawn interval or time? Tried looking for about 4 hrs today with no spawn then came back for 2 hrs, no spawn. Several people there said it hadn't spawned while I was gone.

Me and my duo partner both 61 bsts just duod this badboy, took around 40 em/t pets to take him down also took like 40 mins

Dropped 9k gil the axe and some other crab junk

This thing apparently doesn't drop Cloth anymore, but instead drops V.Claw and some other claw that's used to make an Antlion Harness.

Still drops Fransisca though.

After the updated, all I heard is no cloth drop. I think SE removed cloth from this NM.

I solo aquarius all the time on siren. The drop rate for dama clothe, isnt as bad as some ofyou think, it prolly is a 25 to 35% drop. well atleast it was. since the big update in july,< the npc one> Square said they affected some of the drops off the NM's in the boyada tree. Since the update I havent gotten the drop 0/5 since the update, thats with 2 lucky eggs, and treasure hunter 1, 75 smn/37thf. I am curious if the lessened the drop rate of the dama clothe off aquarius... that sucks i need 6 mil for a dam scorpian harness... could just be bad luck, but its in my head now.

What's the window for this thing?

ok, so i log on and see what is up in the ls. We sorta start tt talk about my failed attempt at my AF body. My friend Juvius (71RNG) asked if i wanted to do it again (he was there the first time). He then says hes in a skill up pt in Boyada Tree. I say "hey, get them to go to davoi to help with my AF". He says no because they are gonna disband because to many people are dieing trying to kill aquarius. They mananged to get him dow to 1/3 hp before they called for help (stupid idea) another party camping him ofcourse let them zone and waited for its health to go back to full so the call for help status would go away. At this time im racing on chocobo to the tree to see if i can myself an easy fransisca. Juvis sends a tell to the party asking if i could have the axe and they said yes. By the time they killed it i was just entering Zitah and racing for the tree telling them to keep it in pool. I get to the entrance to the tree and then what happends?

so i log on and im pissed as hell cuz it was too late. >.<

well later that night i got my AF so i was happy when i went to bed. ^^

1/2 on cloth and 2/2 on francis which i sold for 1 mil to a rng each time..it was me and 3 other bsts everytime so we made some good gil about 1.4 mil each..and thats all in 6 hrs.
