Me (Bard) and my Duo friend espio (paladin) decided while we were camping a NM for my rbo we would see if Ose was there as there was only 2 people in the area that night...
So start killing and yay he spawns as soon as he did a player logged on >.> so we dropped the mob we were fighting to kill it.. I finsihed off the mob and espio started on Ose. Espio was being hit from5-120 damage he hit quite bhhard for sure but with Elegy the fight was alot easier. Ose also as you all know spams paralyze and Silence so reommend a /whm to easily deal with this..Ose died within 10 mins no drop;; better luck next time... He is quite easy for the level you set him at i would definatly say near the 65 rather than 70

I know of Lonn...he started off a good player and ended up a very greedy person. Too bad too because he use to help me alot. Now he just worries about what he can get from the game and nobody else.

well, this is just something that amused me. me a 74rdm/31nin(yes underleveled but I'm working on it), a 75whm/nin, and a 75war/nin were camping this for ***** and giggles mostly. the war falls asleep and as luck would have it Ose pops within 10 minutes. so me and the WHM use <calls> for a good 15 minutes but can't get through to him.
so me and the WHM decide to kamikaze. I pull Ose back sleep it, and we gear get set up. All in all the fight took about 15-20 minutes, with me sleeping it on occasion so me and the WHM could regroup. but really there was no problems with fighting it.
At the end of the fight the war woke up and smacked it once to kill it, so technically he helped. but I still am astounded that a RDM and WHM can duo this thing.

Just wanted to add my two cents about this fight. I was bored with nothing to do atm and asked a 69RDM friend to come duo this with me as iam a 75NIN.
Started killing PH's and it popped exactly on the hour. So we attack and finish it off no problem, *cough* even though my rdm friend had 19 whm sub lmao
But this thing is duoable with RDM and NIN........ 1/2 drop :P

Not having fun with Ose. 0/9 with TH2, on average it's been taking about 2-3 hours (this last one took a nice 4). Having no problem getting claim/killing it though, usually have a full party or a lil alliance of 75's. But this is really frustrating me, I've been doing this for over a week now.

yea saw this dude pop well we were resting and said lets kill him for the hell of it so we did i went behind the pld in pt and did sata +cross reaper= 1000 damage yea but the pld moved and i got hate but i stayed alive becuase our whm did a good gob healing me and a 75 came by and helpd me out yea no drop but thank god that 75 came around or our pt would be dead meat

And thf in my ls and I decided to go try to give this a shot, as I wanted the jerkin soon, and he needed it.
Camped for around 30 mins, then it popped. 75THF/NIN and 64RDM/WHM.
It gave us a run for our money. He was using an EVA build, but ose hits pretty fast, and very hard on a thf. W/o shadows, he was getting hit for 200-300 ;; .
Had to convert, and nearly wiped at 1% (no MP, thf red life, shadows down) but the THF evaded an attack, and got shadows back up.
1/1, atm. ^^ The THF got it and was very happy. he promised to help me get one next, heh.

Ok well to start off I just wanted to say that I have camped this NM on 3 seperate occasions and only seen him once. When he did pop he pop on the Northwest wall anf from what I read that seems to be a common spot for him to pop.
I also noticed that his spawn time is not listed so just for the record its not a fun one he is a lottery spon with a 2-8 hr respawn. 6 hr window sure isnt very fun.
WEll any way me and my 75RDM/NIN friend camped this today and after 5 hrs of hard work killing off place holders we see OSE pop. WE are like estatic and all that and we ran to over to get it but got a manticore link and during that fight we gat spammed by its weaponskill move that reduces max MP. we finish the fight and rest up to full mana run towards OSE and all the sudden I see the words "SeanJean starts casting paralyze..." long story short they kill the NM.
Anyone out there feel sorry for me. I mean we camped the thing 5 hrs today and we lose the notorious monster to a random person walking by... I'm so PO'd...
So for the record SeanJohn..... I hate you lol

Hey.. i camped this thing for 2 days now and gotten 5 claims (thx to rmts)I (74thf) have a lvl 72 WHM friend Nonamegod with me all the time. we could kill it but it was not a easy fight. we needed a lot of teamwork. Need Sleep when My shadows are gone since it hits hard (around 100-250damage) + it has paralysis additional effect. It could go bad if sleep was resisted. Basicially, FIGHT --> sleep --> rest --> FIGHT --> sleep -> rest... so on...
IM 0/8 now (all with TH2, lucky egg, 4-leaf) ...
hope i can get the drop soon. /cry

last night i was at onzozo camping ose for 9 hours with 2 friends, we claim it
and smn starts to kite to entrance, and we nuke sleep nuke and repeat this process, 99% later we all wipe random guy enters the zone hits it once and it dies, im praying it didn't drop, then he raises us and puts on the assault jerkin, i never want to go back... setup was 74 smn 72 blm 66 thf(me)

Duo'd today with my wife, fun fight. Pretty easy if you keep shadows up.

Killed again today with PLD/NIN, THF, RDM, SMN.... PLD got his drop and i'm now 3/5 on this guy

From what I remember Ose is most likely to pop on the far wall of the xp room, beyond the Manticore. Most campers camp in the corner near the Manticore, and pull Coeurls from there. There are two other tunnels to camp from, but one has Coeurls popping in it, and the other has gobs/elementals. If 58 is your highest job you're gonna need to recruit some horsepower (2 or more 70+), and preferably get a /whm for paralyna/silena. Ose has high AGI and normally gets killed by 2 xp parties teaming up once they see him. Good luck.

Just entered to Labyrinth of Onzozo and i had seen the Ose in the entrance and no claimed and I decided to solo it (RDM75/NIN37) with sleep nuke (Blizzard III), after 1 hour and 30 minutes i defeated him and... Drop! my first time i killed him and got drop! i'm really lucky. 1/1 on Ose, got Assault Jerkin and Wisker
Camped this stupid creature for TEN hours. And he did not pop.
We were the only ones in the entire zone (aside from fishing bots)
And he never popped. We killed Narasimha about 5 times, got about 8 skin things.
But Ose never popped.....
I wonder why? I'm 69WHM, I got 4.5k exp from killing toramas, and I was getting about 20-40 exp a kill... hahaha.
Imagine how many toramas we killed.
We were the only ones in the entire zone (aside from fishing bots)

The second time, I bugged one of my LS THFs to come out for the TH support. So I held the darn NM for a good 15 minutes, and in the end still no drop. >_<; I gave him the whisker for his troubles >_>;
Takes me about ~20 minutes to kill now that I have practice. Go /Nin for shadows, /Whm for paralyna is stupid because you'll be too paralyzed to ever be able to cast the spell.
Typically, my rough strat is Grav > Bliz3 > Bind > Bliz3 > Sleep1 > Rest > Sleep2 > Rest > Repeat. Always keep fresh Utsu and Haste up. Wizard cookies are fantastic.
Of course you have to be flexible, and ALWAYS keep an eye on the weather gauge because aggro from a water elemental is fatal.

what do u guys think can a 75 pld/nin and a 75 brd/whm take this??? I assume it would be easy like this, brd stays away from paralyze and silence, while i tank and do damage might take a while but with mages balad shouldnt be a problem.

set out with a ls mate PLD61/WAR (thx again Sparkzalot) and myself War65/NINwith hopes that Ose would be up soon....waited 2 hours and BAM Ose pops, asked the 2 pts that were there to join in and help out. Eventually took down Ose, about a 10 min fight with 14 ppl lvl 58-65, and as far as drop item...3x crystals, whisker, and Assault Jerkin, w00tga..so i'm 1/1 on Ose now and thx to every who joined us to help beat it down
