Well there's other ppl in your pt that need it more than you at the moment. If you don't need it now and its not able to be sold then don't lot on it. Especially if there is a job lets say a ninja in the party that could really use the jerkin. Let those jobs lot on it and not you. You don't need the damn thing now it'll prb sit in your mog house for months.
just beat this thing today with a alliance with a total member of 11 people ranging from lvl 61-63, I was the one tanking it, it wasn't too bad but when I did get hurt I took a hell of a beating, I was averaging getting hit around 230 I died after we brought the Ose down to around 40% hp everyone else manage to kill it using their 2 hour and such

Sorry, any WHM without a melee job even close to 67 who lots on this is an A**. I'd probably /blist, and seeing your response, I'd do so for sure if you were on my server.
Fought him yesterday with a 12 person alliacnce 61-63, he dropped assault jerkin and for some reason the whm lotted, and got a 975 lot. She had no otehr jobs that high, i still can't explain it. But damn were ppl mad. Anywyas, fun fight, very high evasion tho.

If you were smarth enough since you didnt have anything other melee high level you could have still passed it.. after you lotted. :o

While leveling up in Gustav, we came upon that rare ranger goblin (level 70, forget the name), we banded up with another group that was in the area, and killed it. The Rare/exc bow dropped. I have ranger up to level 20, and SOMEDAY hope to get it high enough to need this bow. Did I lot on it? Hell no, because there was a level 60 ranger in there. When I get my ranger higher, i'll simply come back and camp the thing, he can use it NOW, and there's a distinct possibility that although I plan on doing ranger, than I may never be able to use it.

He spawns in a large room that is populated with goblins, manticore, and coeurls in place of the other coeurls. He's not too rare ... I see him every time I level there, but only once, so I'd guess it's a 6-hour or so spawn.
He's not difficult at all. A good 63 party could kill without an alliance (especially with a Ninja tank). In a 12-member alliance with the highest level player being 62, we received ~67 exp and 750 gil each. Based on the exp table here, that means that the NM is level ~71.

Also note that if your group is not all 63 (great XP here around 60 as well if you have a BRD or SMN with Fenrir to increase accuracy), this place almost always has another group working it that will be happy to join up with you to take down Ose for a chance to lot on the Jerkin or Whisker (worth around 100k on my server).

All melee wearable include bard, rdm.
It's one groupable at level 63 if you have a solid group. We've taken it 3 times, Assualt Jerkin dropped 2/3 times for us. We've got a happy drk and a happy drg.

lol, you're missing the most important part of this NM's loot. The great rare/ex assault jerkin. Don't remember all stats but the important one is that drgs can wear it and it's +18 attack.
