hey i bought an item yesterday from a bazzar called "bomb queen ash" but it isnt ex and it isnt rare but i cant sell it in the AH...anybody have any idea what this is or if it drops from the bomb king? yes i know bomb king/queen doesnt fit but i cant find the item on this site anywhere and id like to know if its a quest item what i can do with it, or how much i can resell it for in my bazzar
The Bomb Queen is in Ifrit's Cauldron.
bomb queen ash drops from the bomb queen who is alot higher lvl then the bomb king, my guess is the ash is used for a quest or a synth.
Stoopit bomb king. spent 6 hours there, killed him twice and he didnt drop diddly. OKay, he did drop bomb ash once >.<
And I never saw the doppelgangers. Bastards!

you have to go through the northern-most entrance in EAST Sarutabaruta.
I've killed it many times, got the bomb ring a few times. The spawn rate for this and the doppelgangers is nice because it's pretty much just random every 8 minutes in the 3 rooms noted on the map, either a balloon, Bomb King, Doppelganger Gog, or Doppelganger Dio will spawn. I've had Dio spawn 3 times in a row.
I've killed it many times, got the bomb ring a few times. The spawn rate for this and the doppelgangers is nice because it's pretty much just random every 8 minutes in the 3 rooms noted on the map, either a balloon, Bomb King, Doppelganger Gog, or Doppelganger Dio will spawn. I went from WEST Sarut. NW <<
Can't go any further than the first crack on the wall... Then a whole room full of Ghouls, there was another "Crack on the Wall" but I can't open it!! HELP plz ??

The one problem with getting the NM to spawn is that most of the time the damn balloon spawned instead of the NM almost everytime. NM only spawned once in a while. From camping over there for 5 hours+ I only got the chance to fight the NM 2 times and it didnt drop. So I believe the NM spawn randomly, it really depends on our luck.

it also drops cruel scythe and cruel spear......
nevermind about my other post i might have been wrong and maybe the bomb king does drop the doppergangers weapons, who knows. I killed it only once so far i want my bomb ring i will try again later. take care all

Small clarification to previous spawn rate posts:
From my experience, every 8 minutes either a doppelganger, bomb king, or a balloon (balloon most often) will appear in one of 3 rooms. Only one room will get a spawn, then 8 minutes after you kill the balloon another (or NM) will spawn in one of the 3 rooms.
Like the previous poster stated, after you kill an NM, it takes about 10 minutes instead of 8 for the next spawn of balloon/bking/doppel.

there is a IW monster that will randomly appear in one of the 3 rooms named Ballon. exactley 8 min after you kill it one of the NM will appear in that same room and it takes about 10 min after you kill a NM before another Ballon will appear (i feal like a god this is the first major discovery i have ever made)

i spent 15 hours (yes i have no life) in this place yesturday and the stupid balloon spawned almost 100% of the time. i only killed the NM's 3 times out of the entire time i was there. it really pissed me off.

I spent a few hours here and worked out that similair to yours the respawn time is 8 minutes, however my theory is that it randomly spawns balloon, bomb king, and the dobble gangers in these 3 rooms in a ratio of about 1 : 15 : 10

hmmm... found the bomb and killed it, then opened the door 8 minutes later, but no NM :(

kind of hard to drop two when it's Rare, and you can only have one in your inventory at a time.
i've also never, ever heard of a monster dropping two of the same Rare item.

I would like to corect my previous post, after exploring more with my nin I found the where thisis. In EAST Saratubaratu. if you look at the map, at the top of East sabat you see to the right, the entrance to the canyons and to the left you see the entrance to West sabat. but in the middle there is another entrance to the ruins. I did not realize that was the place until I saw some high lvl kill one of the doppelgangers. This is in East. at the northernmost point of the area. happy hunting.

ok i have looked and looked the north tower in east sab IS NOT it, unless the giant door could be opened, cou;d somone who has been there give a detailed description on which tower and how to get there, please oh please i need that ring :(

The giant door is opened during Mission 3 (or 4, whichever one is the book of the gods one). It is a hideout of an NPC, nothing more. How you get there Im pretty sure is you generally take a gradual right to find the big door that you cant open, you need to head right. There you find another door that can be opened. Inside you find a room full of Leechers Muggers and Ambushers, that means you are close to the right place.

lol i walked into the ruins went to one of the points he spawns and found and killed him then got the bomb ring the first time :)..... then spent 3 hours looking for the doppelgangers

Ok, I FINALLY found him. East Sara, north tower. Use diagram shown. If there is nothing in the room he's shown in, you either have the wrong room, or he's yet to spawn. I went after him as lvl 29 war sub 14 Ninja, and he was laughable. Didn't agro me, I waited for my 31 WMG PT member to show on radar, then started attacking, as she opened the door, he feel. Though, he does have a decent amount of hp. As my first 2 attacks did about 45 damage each, and he didn't have a scratch on him .. but ... neither did I when it was over. Cake walk. He dropped Bomb Ash, and a Bomb Arm. If going for the ring, bring a lvl 15+ theif.

Yanno, it's a pain in the a-ss, when 2 people say two different things. I've spent 3 hours now trying to figure out how the he-ll to get to bomb king, does anyon REALLY know ... or are we still guessing?

The entrance is at the Very North Part of Eastern Sarubata. I was here, and all I could find were alot of easy cardians, and I saw nothing in those rooms.
