This is sooooo not a HNM, at level 70 a group of 5 (not an aliance or even near it) includeing myself defeated this NM. It was about as tough as a Goblin in bibiki bay, if it blows up, thats bad. Setup was war/thf/nin/blm(me)/rdm. We sold it, and split the profits seeing as we all trusted each other. Now one or 2 might have been higher than 70, by maybe 1 level at most. This definately makes me think one of those super solo jobs @75(nin, bst, rdm, maybe a monk/ninja at 75) would be able to take this guy without any major problem... Unless he blows up, stun is definately a plus.
1. This is not a HNM.
2. It is not L80, more like L70. The levels given for many NM's on this site are wildly inaccurate.
3. Many jobs can solo this mob easily at L75 - BST, NIN, RDM/NIN, and probably just about any DD with NIN sub. BST doesn't even have to be anywhere near L75, just high enough to charm Dire Bats (L60-63).
4. Aren't you just sick of people who make inane comments in threads about things of which they know nothing at all?

Posted: Feb 26 2005 at 7:44 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I have seen Roc and Serket solo'd and I will also solo them myself as SMN and I believe I can solo this guy easy when my SMN is in the 70's altho ill be duoing it as 65 SMN's (or at least that will be our first try) but yeah I believe no probs that they could solo an HNM, Ive got a mad one for the people that dont think an HNM can be solo'd...I want to try and duo Jormungand, I believe it can be done, will be the freaking fight of my life but I believe its possible, but whether it is or not I AINT laying claims on having done it lol but ill try, but yeah mate HNM CAN definately be solo'd Ive seen it done, and Ive seen extensive proof of other times it has been done (and by this time tomorrow ill hopefully be able to say I solo'd one, Lumber Jack, but lets not jump ahead ;))
