Historical InformationIn Greek mythology, Argus was a one hundred eyed giant ordered to guard the nymph Io (in the guise of a white cow) by Hera from Zeus. In order to re-claim Io, Zeus sends the god Hermes to slay Argus. In order to bypass the giant's tendency to always keep at least one eye open, the messenger god posed as a shephard and recited boring stories to Argus until each eye fell asleep before killing him. In honor of his service, Hera emblazened Argus's eyes on the tail feathers of the peacock.

Argus 1/1
After 5 years, I've decided to call it quits on FFXI. There was only one final task for me to accomplish : Argus. NM hunting is something I enjoyed in FFXI, and I enjoy the adrenaline rush when you see a NM on widescan and run toward it. Argus however had always eluded me. After 3 LeechKing spawns (0/3) and 11 hours into the window, I have finally claimed Argus, killed it, got the drop, and gave it away to another camper. My adventure on FFXI is now complete.
The NM and the fabled Peacock Charm had been a source of dream and aspiration ever since I was a lowly level THF until the gil seller and bots took over. Fast forward a few years, the spawn condition has changed, the charm is Rare/EX, the gil seller and bots are gone, yet the dream to kill Argus remains. Argus is my 'final boss'.
If you're camping Argus just for the charm : don't bother. It is simply not worth it in terms of the time you spend : expect at least 100 hours. Obtaining the ToD is the first issue : Leech King can always spawned instead. If you're lucky and have the ToD, the spawn window is 12 hours, and there is always competition even now. Claiming boil down to your ability to focus for 12 hour straight without losing your sanity as you spam widescan every 20 seconds. After a few days, you'll become a nervous wreck.
Now a few tips to those who decide to camp this NM despite it all :
1) Do not bother unless you have THF to 45 at least. It's not worth it without Treasure Hunter 2.
2) Sub RNG or BST for widescan, else you'll go crazy.
3) Do not kill the surrounding mobs : it'll merely distract you.
4) Make friends with your fellow campers : they may be like me and simply give away the P.Charm afterward.
5) Look at the radar rather than the screen : the mob will show up on the radar first.
Beyond that, persevere, and you'll be rewarded eventually.

Well here it is almost a year since I quit playing FFXI, and whilst waxing nostalgic, something reminded me of Argus and what a googly-eyed bastard he was. Final tally since 2005-ish was 0/17. Yes killed 17 times solo, and no drop. -_- What kills me is that SE programs the most overcomplicated damage formulas yet can't seem to make an algorithm that increases the likelihood of getting a drop the more times you kill an NM. Go figure...
BTW this poster is correct. The 1min interval info is complete bs. The spawn time is totally random.

Just wanted to say f@#$ this NM. 0/10. Such BS. If you are someone who has gone 1/1 or 1/2 on this guy consider yourself fortunate not to have wasted literally days of your life.

This is a hard one to camp without ToD easiest way to get it is to turn chat filters off and park yourself between the big room and small room when you go to sleep. Hit current time and then count conquest updates between current time you put in last night and when you wake up that will get you close enough.May take a couple nights but youll get it. Just thought id share. GL 1/2 on this btw

Camped this sucker for about a week with no luck on him poping guessing LK poped
Well a nother camper gave up and gave me tod first night LK pops kill him no drop.....Next night right at the last second he can pop bam there he is i freeze ohter camper is zzzzzzzzz lol so i go after him well lil did i know on 50thf he is not that easy O_o lol I 2 hour spam bloody bolt and there drop is......I bout fell out of my chair lol 1/1 ^^ sorta not sure if you count lk's pop

I know this will probably make those hunting him sick to your stomachs, but I figure I would share my story:
I was a level 40 dragoon hanging around where argus pops beating up on the EP goblins and scorpions. I came off and on for a few days and had leveled up to 42. Some one hunting him had told me he hadn't popped for 36 hours. I hunted for a couple hours, but still no pop so we had figured the Leech king must have popped in that time. After I get home from work I log on and gain enough xp to get to level 43. I log back on at night and kill a goblin and get ready to equip warp cudgel to warp back to Jeuno and there he is standing right in front of me. I hurry to try and switch to my obelisk and I am pounding my jump and high jump macro but they were both used. I settle down and land dia on him as he starts to pound me with a flurry of spells.
The fight took me about 10 minutes. He had me under 100 hp probably 15 times (Thank God for Healing Breath 3!). I ran out of mp he was at about 5 % life. I Spirit Surge and beat the hell out of him for the WIN! Got 105 xp hecteyes eye and PEACOCK AMULET! It was intense! Good luck to all those hunting him!

I never just killed a slinge... when i got TOD i ever got 3-4 pops in a row.
LK something like 0/4.
TH2 most time only the last one with TH2+1.
i found out that the wohle 12h window moves forwoard.
in a period of 2 month id never have been earlyer if you look at 3 days to a week.
Single pops are b4 the 24 hour mark.
my last run was 3 times 28+ ( ; . ; )

I had wanted to camp Argus for a Peacock Amulet for about 2 years. I didn't start until a little over 2 months ago on the December update for Asura. I woke up early to camp for a few hours. I don't have a very flexible schedule so It's incredibly hard to camp NMs like Argus. Though I must say Argus is probably the WORST NM to camp. Along with others like Padfoot (which I got drop on also years ago). It's a 50% chance that either he or leech king pops. And on top of that its about a 17% drop rate which drops the PCA drop rate down to about 8% or so if you are even lucky enough to claim this. I have a friend that got his a few weeks before me. He waited Non-stop for him to pop in the maze. I would see him there and ask him how long he had camped.... it was always like 25-30+ hours. Plus he is horribly over camped. probably get 100 people pass through for him a day. So all that put together makes this NM insane to camp.
So right after the December update i went and camped until i had to get ready.
I logged back on 30min later and I thought to myself. "What if Argus spawned right in front of me 10 seconds after logging in." I read on here that a PLD logged on and he popped right in front of him and claimed not knowing what he was. So I was thinking that and 10 seconds later after I logged in again ARGUS SPAWNED RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. A random COR that i know just showed up was running and ran right into him and claimed before I could. Just about the second he spawned. I was on my THF and asked if you wanted to use my TH. I helped kill him and he got the drop and didn't even give me a reward... barely even a thanks. So I was in shock, I know this is just a game. And I always say that. Real Life matters, a game doesn't. But for some reason I couldn't get this out of my head. there were even a few nights where I couldn't sleep and my heart started pounding because I would dream that he just spawned in front of me. Sounds horrible i know... I have never done that before. so a few more weeks go by and I am Still stressed because of it. I wanted the RARE/EX Peacock Amulet so bad. It's a sign of success to me. I find out there is going to be a maintenance, so I wait around trying to log on every 15 sec before the update is suppose to end. I finaly get through 10 min early and throw up a widescan. I SEE ARGUS!!! i flee and run to him. Someone had already claimed him about 30 sec before I got there. within a minute there were about 15 people standing around him.
So after this I said to myself no more Argus for a while. It was driving me crazy. I was camping in between updates as well. So It was taking a lot of time for nothing. Then on 2/19/2009 I had another Dream about Argus spawning. I could really feel it again this time like I did before when he spawned in front of me.
So I went there and camped for a couple of hours along with about 5 others. It was getting late so I had to go to sleep. I woke up a couple of hours later and ARGUS WAS SITTING RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! I had no idea how long he had been there. I claimed super fast, killed, and got my new Peacock Amulet FINALLY!
I'm so glad I got that out of the way. I accomplished what I set out to do. And that's what mattered to me the most.

In my opinion, having the rare/ex version of an NM shows dedication. I believe it is more prestigious to have a rare/ex version of a hard to get item than one that can be bought. Anyone can buy an item, not everyone can have the rare/ex version.
Not to mention, it saves you a ton of gil you can spend somewhere else. Definitely worth it in my opinion.

The Protozoan is neither linked to Argus nor to Leech King, it's completely random if Argus or Leech King will pop. That's a fact everybody has to face with, there is no mini-window, no hidden placeholder or things like that. Either Argus or the other guy will spawn 18-30h+ after last t.o.d....that's all you have to know^^ Good luck! ;)

Although I've got the PCA, I think this Nm sucks. If you're after +10 Acc., you should go farming like I did or do some BCNM for PCC. A 12h+ window, 50% Pop-chance, the droprate...like a bad joke. I know it's really hard to supress the hunting instinct in everyone of us but don't waste your time too much on this! ;)

I have been camping this dude for a week. This is definitely by far the hardest NM to camp I dont care what anyone says. So there is once in a while someone that gets lucky, congragulations. But to us who camp this guy for 100 Plus hours a week and by I mean camp it I mean sit and stare at the screen for the whole entire time. Its brutal. Not to mention his drop rate is low close to 15% - 25%.You definitely need widescan it is impossible to do this without. Why #1 reason if Leech King pops you dont have widescan or say you camping middle Room and Argus pops in small. Unless you are running around like a mad man you will miss the TOD. Then your waiting there for another 18-30 hours to get TOD again. This is hard as hell there is no NM that compares to this guy he pops when you least expect it. haha I mean cmon 12 hours that is wicked. thats a day and half of work you could be getting done but nope got to get this Sick Neck Piece. I will keep you posted on my future excitement on this NM haha. I dont know if it annoyed you guys that camped him hard as I did when people randomly ask you TOD , people who you've never even see in the Maze haha how about you people come sit here for hours upon hours then have me ask you the TOD.

was in maze doin the ahriman eye quest and i had a couple hours to spare before Japanese midnight.. so i thought,, what the hell go n camp Some NM's see if anyone else is around.. needless to say there was 1 person camping in each room.... and as a SAM/THF 71 i had no way of Claiming these NM's first...
Was afk playing facebook poker for a bit and nothing much was happening... killed all the leeches in the room and got carbuncles ruby.. which i needed lol... then went back to the Argus room...
Anyway got bored of sitting aroud... ive camped pleny of NM's but with 18-30 hours ToD and no idea when last one was.. kkinda annoying... so i decided to go bak to the rock pool and afk... but i ran the wrong way out of Argu's room to the Iron Door.... and BOom guess whos in my face.. Argus... just a few metres from the Iron Door!!!
Killed him fairly easily, got a Mercury Vial , a hecteyes Eye and a Dark Crystal.... boo!! everything BUT PCC :(((

A few days ago I decided to camp Argus and went to the Maze with no ToD.
I permanently ran between the Argus-camp and the Leech-room. After about 4 hours I asked myself: WTF I am doing here and was about leaving the Maze. I went to the Leech-room for a last time and there he was: Leech King. Killed him with Warrior60/Thief17 (lol), no drop. 18 h later I went back to the Maze, checked the big room: nothing, checked the small room with bats: Argus (he was already up) LOL. I killed him and got drop. He spawned a few minutes into the window. I have to mention that I was alone at the Maze the whole time. Now I can sell my Peacock Charm. Wuzzaaa! ^^

3 Drops in a Row..... yup its true. Grab a seat and here my story which btw coincides with Maxximuss story. Yup i'm the friend he mentions ---->Azurian and the 3rd member is Starlie ftw^^
I decided to farm the Peacock Amulet in order to sell my Peacock Charm... going for 1.6-1.8mil in Asura now...not bad, but 1st i needed me the amulet ;; I figured this would be worst than the Ochimusha Okote 1/30+ or even Vali's Bow 1/11 on that but what the hell lets give it a shot^^
I decided to go down to Shakhrami Maze on Sat Oct.11th to get the ToD. It was me and Starlite at 1st on a mission >.> We were there since oh 8am...unfortunateley we had to step out around 1:50pm. when we came back later that day i back logged and saw that he had popped. We figured he popped b/w 1:50pm but definiteley before 2pm (since conquest update showed up right after Argus death) so finally got the ToD now the idea was not to lose it. We logged on that Sunday this time with Maxximuss on board^^ 3 of us now i was rdm75/thf Star was Whm43/rng and Max was Sam75/thf. I forget what popped but it didn't matter either way cause maintenance was up on Mon Oct 13th and yes a new start^^
Here go the notes:
After maintenance Oct 13th Argus popped in big room in front of Max but was claimed 1st by a rng/thf...no drop ;; Max decided to change to his Mnk75/rng for the next claim Chi-Blast ftw^^
Tues Oct 14th Leech King popped @ 7:50 pm- 25hrs 50min after last Tod (must mention that Solivanpr Drg 75 joined us for this one) drop Bloodbead earring. I one lot so 1/1 on LK^^
Weds Oct 15th LK agin @ 8:55pm- 25hrs 55min after last ToD this time no drop.
Thurs Oct 16th Argus @ 9:15pm- 24hrs 20min after last ToD....no drop.
Friday Oct 17th LK @ 11:10pm- 25hrs 55min after last ToD (yup same as on weds) and no drop.
Sunday Oct 19th Argus @ 3am- 27hrs 50min after last ToD(much respect to Max for staying up late for this one^^..i had to work;;)and yup u guessed it no drop ;;
Mon Oct 20th LK popped twice.....@5:15AM- 26hrs 15min after last ToD and that same night at 11:22pm-18hrs 7min after last ToD and yup no drops.
Tues Oct 21st Lk @ 10:07pm- 22hrs 42min after last ToD and yea yea no drop.
Now comes the 1st drop^^
Thurs Oct 23rd Argus @ 2:27am 22hrs- 20min after last Tod he popped in the big room right in front of me... it was still Star, Max and me here in ta party but Max went to bed at 12ish he had to work and Star was afk... 5 other people showed up (insert panic mode) i did go afk for bout a 30-40min... i came and started dozing off and thats when he popped as i opened my eyes, he popped right in front of me(adrelanine rush). There was a taru thf heading toward me and the blumage that was next to me was afk i'm sure. I throw up Dia- fast cast ftw^^ and got claim and yada yada yada Peacock amulet^^
2nd Drop^^
Thurs Oct 23rd @ 8:57pm 18hrs 27min after last ToD. This was Maxx's moment to shine and if u read his story u'll see what happend...long story short yada yada yada Peacock Amulet^^ and yes if that darn thf asked u.... Thf II- Do you need it? he was just assisting. No way should he get a shot at lotting, unless u wanted him to do so and u being there already over a 1wk hmmm no way man u did the right thing man^^
3rd and final drop^^
One thing to note i set out to get my amulet at 1st and then Maxx joined us, so the plan was to only get 2 drops. When he got his drop he had disbanded from the party (no idea why) when i bk logged i saw that he had killed Argus but no idea if he got the drop....
I logged on early on today before i had to go to work knowing that the window opened at 2:57pm.... (btw while i was at work i called Maxx and he told me he had gotten drop so there was no need for me to stay in Shakhrami Maze let alone be logged on) i didn't arrive home until bout 6:45pm tonight. i did some things around the house then headed to the game room and as i look ay the screen i notice Starlite dead ;; sorry baby (more tears) i notice she had bout 25min to homepoint... and also noticed Argus standing there next to her yup unclaimed...he must have been there for at least 35minutes unclaimed in the small room btw (which is where Starlite stood as a 43whm/rng cause she didn't get agro there) there was a thf75/whm that must have been afk in the big room where i was.... i hit /flee (rdm/thf) and proceed toward her and once again i claim Argus. i said what the hell no way he'll drop another amulet (c'mon 3 straight drops no way) but at least i would avenge Star's death ;;)..... so fight starts and Yada yada yada bam Peacock amulet^^ wow unbeleivable 3 drops in 3 consecutive Argus pops. I of course passed on the PCA. i was on the phone with Maxx when i was fighting Argus and we decided to call Solivanpr so he could lot for it... he was in whitegate and by the time he got a tele-mea and was in Tahrongi Canyon on a choco.... it fell to Starlite.....gratz baby^^ though most ur assists were afk ur deserve it^^ Well that's my or rather i say our story, Max u Chi-blasting Mnk u^^ Starlite u playing dead Whm u^^ and me Fast casting Dia master ftw^^

I decided to farm the Peacock Amulet in order to sell my Peacock Charm... going for 1.6-1.8mil in Asura now...not bad, but 1st i needed me the amulet ;; I figured this would be worst than the Ochimusha Okote 1/30+ or even Vali's Bow 1/11 on that but what the hell lets give it a shot^^
I decided to go down to Shakhrami Maze on Sat Oct.11th to get the ToD. It was me and Starlite at 1st on a mission >.> We were there since oh 8am...unfortunateley we had to step out around 1:50pm. when we came back later that day i back logged and saw that he had popped. We figured he popped b/w 1:50pm but definiteley before 2pm (since conquest update showed up right after Argus death) so finally got the ToD now the idea was not to lose it. We logged on that Sunday this time with Maxximuss on board^^ 3 of us now i was rdm75/thf Star was Whm43/rng and Max was Sam75/thf. I forget what popped but it didn't matter either way cause maintenance was up on Mon Oct 13th and yes a new start^^
Here go the notes:
After maintenance Oct 13th Argus popped in big room in front of Max but was claimed 1st by a rng/thf...no drop ;; Max decided to change to his Mnk75/rng for the next claim Chi-Blast ftw^^
Tues Oct 14th Leech King popped @ 7:50 pm- 25hrs 50min after last Tod (must mention that Solivanpr Drg 75 joined us for this one) drop Bloodbead earring. I one lot so 1/1 on LK^^
Weds Oct 15th LK agin @ 8:55pm- 25hrs 55min after last ToD this time no drop.
Thurs Oct 16th Argus @ 9:15pm- 24hrs 20min after last ToD....no drop.
Friday Oct 17th LK @ 11:10pm- 25hrs 55min after last ToD (yup same as on weds) and no drop.
Sunday Oct 19th Argus @ 3am- 27hrs 50min after last ToD(much respect to Max for staying up late for this one^^..i had to work;;)and yup u guessed it no drop ;;
Mon Oct 20th LK popped twice.....@5:15AM- 26hrs 15min after last ToD and that same night at 11:22pm-18hrs 7min after last ToD and yup no drops.
Tues Oct 21st Lk @ 10:07pm- 22hrs 42min after last ToD and yea yea no drop.
Now comes the 1st drop^^
Thurs Oct 23rd Argus @ 2:27am 22hrs- 20min after last Tod he popped in the big room right in front of me... it was still Star, Max and me here in ta party but Max went to bed at 12ish he had to work and Star was afk... 5 other people showed up (insert panic mode) i did go afk for bout a 30-40min... i came and started dozing off and thats when he popped as i opened my eyes, he popped right in front of me(adrelanine rush). There was a taru thf heading toward me and the blumage that was next to me was afk i'm sure. I throw up Dia- fast cast ftw^^ and got claim and yada yada yada Peacock amulet^^

Thurs Oct 23rd @ 8:57pm 18hrs 27min after last ToD. This was Maxx's moment to shine and if u read his story u'll see what happend...long story short yada yada yada Peacock Amulet^^ and yes if that darn thf asked u.... Thf II- Do you need it? he was just assisting. No way should he get a shot at lotting, unless u wanted him to do so and u being there already over a 1wk hmmm no way man u did the right thing man^^
3rd and final drop^^
One thing to note i set out to get my amulet at 1st and then Maxx joined us, so the plan was to only get 2 drops. When he got his drop he had disbanded from the party (no idea why) when i bk logged i saw that he had killed Argus but no idea if he got the drop....
I logged on early on today before i had to go to work knowing that the window opened at 2:57pm.... Well to make this story short we we 3 people and 2 of us we had rng sub, is a gd idea to have rng sub to c if the Leech King, we were there for 2 weeck sins the last server update, we had that place on a lock down no one had TOD just us 3, and wen there were people there we just throw widescan and always got the Leech KIng, what we do was use our 2hour and distroy the Leech King so no one can c the KIng. And we will stay there on for a little to throw people off, we always had claim but no drop. On wensday 22 I had to go to sleep my friend got claim at 2:30am got the drop and there were 5 people there. So yesterday I got online but the window didn't open until 8:30 so I just stand there there were people de all log off and my friend was goin to help me but he was afk. So I disband pt and at 7:30 I was there waching the same tfh was there from yesterday, came 8:40 and what u know? Bam argus pop right in front of me the tfh was afk, then we he saw I had him he ask me TH2 do u need it? And sends me a inv? I'm like WTF I said k, so I inv him and I pot it on QM to me, I never said he could lot we killd him and Bam I got the drop, back to back drop. I thank the tfh and he left then I left, but this kid send his friend to send me tell and cursin me out cuz I did that, just a question if u were there for 2 strait weeks and some inv to "Help You" will u let him lot been ur claim? Had you would done the same thing? Just lieven that in the air. Well I hope this helps for you guys and remeber camping is a battle zone, so look out for urself.

Hi just thought i'd share my story my name is Katiie from Hades.
spent about a week down in the maze never lost a claim on LK or Argus things started of bad with 4 LK in a row and not even an earring next day Argus pops in small room got claim no drop, only 1 person (afk) got TOD so the next day me and Yubbie went down there again withing 2 hours Argus pop, Yubbie who recency dced reconnected and got claim :O (my hero) and 2 mins latter i got a sparkling new Peacock amulet so it took 6 days but i finally got my PCA going 1/2 on Argus and 0/4 on LK wasn't to bad thanks to Yubbie :)

i just got this mob. i was only expecting to get tod but i ended up getting claim as well. and with all the rotten luck i have had with deggi, domi, LL, and VE, i thought i wasnt gonna get it. i kill it and it DROPPED! 1/1^^. looks like i dont have to do the whole 12hr camping thingy.

Well Camping Argus was hell it took me a month to get the Peack Amulet i'm 1/7 Argus 2/7 LK. Theres been times i lost TOD theres been times were theres only 1-2 hours left into the window and some random thf comes by and gets the claim and drop><. Before i decided it was time to give up i went into the maze without TOD seen only 1 camper a DRG standing there killing all the mobs so i decided to start killing off the mobs awhile i'm fighting the mobs a RNG comes running by and BAM argus pops right infront of me and the DRG i'm WAR/thf i'm hitting the provoke macro fast as hell and BAM DRG gets claim i'm like WTF!? I had it. It turns out I was provokeing his dragon:( his dragon was in my way well he ended up getting drop now i'm pissed i had it i tell myself that its i'm done PCA was not ment for u. well 18 hours later I go back to the maze this time i'm seeking for a party I tell myself when i get a party invite i'm getting out so i'm killing mobs in the big room 40mins later still no party invite i decided to use flee to check the smallroom and LK room to see if NM pop while i'm fleeing to the smallroom i see Argus i'm like o sh*t "provoke" I got claim while i'm fighting him i talk to a LS friend with TH3 seeing i only have TH WAR/THF well i realised my hp is yellow seeing i never rested while I was killing all the mobs I said what the hell and just killed it and got the drop within a month never seen Argus poped droped 2 times in a row thank god i can finally get out of that maze ya it was hell GL anyone wanting Peacock Amulet^^

Sharing my story...
I started camping him after the last server maintenance ended. I work from home and have been really busy lately, so I had less time to do events or xp parties. Staying parked in Maze of Shakrami and glancing at the screen every now and then was more possible than bcnm'ing or farming gil for the PCC because both would require me to be at the controller for longer periods of time.
On Argus:
1/3 on drop. First kill I was blu75/thf and last 2 kills I was Thf56/rng.
On LK:
1/1 on drop as Thf/Rng
I always stayed in the main room. On the day of maintenance I did not see Argus, so he either was killed in small room or LK was killed. No ToD. Next day I got tired and went to bed early. Next morning I woke at around 6 and checked the screen - Argus was sliding around the main room next to a TH4 Thf who was probably AFK or asleep. I killed him, no drop. During the next window I got tired and went to sleep. Next 2-3 days no Argus. I got frustrated at this point and decided to change things up. I switched to Thf and subbed Rng for widescan. Again it was getting late so I decided to go to bed. This time I woke at around 8:30am, and like before, Argus was up in the main room with someone standing next to him AFK. I engaged, killed him...no drop. The following window LK popped at the very last minute (hour 30). No one was in the Maze at the time, I pulled LK with only 3 links. Got the earring drop. Now it was time to wait for the next window (9:00am to 9:00pm). 1 1/2 hours into it Argus popped and this was the first time I saw him spawn. Killed him, got the drop. There was no one in the zone except for a Blue Mage learning Death Scissors in the main room.
Notes: I had attacks by others and special actions by npc's unfiltered. However, I never saw Argus's name in the chat log other than the times I killed him. I learned that standing near the tunnel that leads to the small room is too far if Argus spawns to the right of the black structure in the main room. I spoke with another camper who informed me I was asleep when she killed Argus at that spot. The first 2 kills were in the center of the main room. The last kill was in the hallway leading to the small room. Argus popped right at the front of it so I was able to see him from the main room.

This is probably one of the most frustrating NMs to camp simply because he shares a timer with LK. If it wasn't for that it wouldn't be that bad camping Argus.

Long story short, we finally got Argus to drop the amulet after several claims and he outlotted me on the Amulet. I claimed him again the very next night and again, no drop. ;;

I stayed logged in while I was at work, came home and STILL nothing. I decided to camp him anyway with hopes that I might actually get lucky. There were probably 10 other ppl there so I had a hunch maybe his window was open. After about 8 hours of absolutely nothing I see The Argus starts to cast blazed spikes. in the chatlog. He was right behind me! I quickly turn around and provoke and ..... no drop. /sigh
The next window I make sure to come /thf for TH and flee. I sacrifice widescan but oh well. This time there were a ton of campers throughout the night but they all ended up leaving after about 11 hours into the window. After 11 hrs and 45 mins into the window BAM! Argus pops in the small room with the bats in it. I quickly claim him, proceed to bash his face in ... and again NO DROP!
The next night I stayed up through the whole 12 hour window and never saw anything... I'm assuming LK popped that night and I missed it.
Back to square one... /sigh.
I leave my character logged in for the next 30+ hours to get ToD (checking the screen whenever I had a chance) NOTHING!!
At this poing I'm about to give up on Argus forever. The next day was maintainence, so I told myself that I'll log out in the maze and If Argus isn't up when I log back in, I would set aside my dreams of ever owning an Amulet.
I log in immediately after maintainence and no Argus, no LK, no nothing.
The next thing you know, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, about 30 ppl starting showing up on my screen. More ppl hoping to get lucky.
At this point I'm pissed, frustrated, discouraged, angry, sleepy, {Insert emotion here}. I had Kirin in 2 hours and if he didn't pop by then, then good riddance!
FAST FORWARD: 1 hr 45 minutes later. Everyone is still here, all 30 of us. I'm just about to warp out to get ready for Kirin and next thing you know.. The Argus starts to cast blazed spikes.!
Again, behind me. I quickly turn around and voke him. He's mine! Out of a mass of ppl he is MINE! I turn around and let him beat on me a little bit while I did a /sea area to check for any thiefs with TH3/4. I asked the 1st thf I saw {Treasure Hunter} {Can I have it} {Please assist}. I then notice that same thief is watching as Argus is beating me down. His response is delayed ... He finally agrees. I invite him, let him get some hate then I proceed to cleaving Argus's face in.....
You deafeat the Argus.
Argus drops a hecteyes.
Argus drops a Peacock Amulet.
You obtain a hecteyes.
You obtain a Peacock Amulet!!
This was by far the happiest, most exciting, overwhelming {Insert extremely happy emotion here} in my ffxi career.
I equipped the Amulet and /cheered. I've never been so examined in my life. lol
Needles to say I gave the thief a nice little tip too ^.~
~All in all I was 2/8 on Argus and 0/1 on LK (actual claims).
~Both times the Amulet dropped there was some form of TH.
~The Protozoan was always in the hut. (even when LK popped)
~I always tried to keep the Goblin Shaman dead and the volume up. That way if I hear the blazed spikes, I KNOW who it's coming from.
~In my experience, widescan will slow you down if you are constanly focused and paying attention anyway, but that's just me.
~Never assume ppl are AFK, they most likely aren't!
~The chatlog is your friend!! Always make sure to have the correct filters on & pay attention for blazed spikes! (same with volume)

Ive been huntn Argus since way b4 the r/e. and, although i read alot on here bout ppl gettn 'lucky' enough to jus be walkn by and get claim and drop makin em 1/1 or some crap, my luck only goes as far as seein "XXX defeats Argus" in my log cuz i had to work or something. 1 thing i try to keep in mind about all the NMs on this game is they ALL have some controlling factor. whether it be time more than a place holder or vice versa, or more often then not, both, & SE lables that "Lottery spawn". anyhow, argus doesnt really have a "Placeholder" per se. and the time is so spread out it might as well not even b called a "window" imo. so i started thinkn maybe this NMs "tell" is wisescan and protozoan(which, incidentally, means wanderer or drifter in greek. Funny SE :/). Protozoan's the only mob ive run across to have 2 spots on widescan. then i started thinkn about how stupid SE can be with random ideas involving ALOT of the crap on this game. (i.e dont touch a mob for a REALLY long time and a NM will pop!?!?!?! not many on this game thatll pass the opportunity to OMGWTFPWN some weak mob jus cuz they can.) Maybe Proto is what ill call a "Spot holder" as to not get confuzzled with "placeholder". the 2 spots on widescan that proto pops at are only Argus's spot(top of 2 ancient bats) and Leech Kings spot (bottom of the long poison leech list). so, my thought process goes: if Proto randomly pops in LK's spot on Widescan, LK cant pop there. so ive left proto alone only when it spawns in LK's spot on widescan. twice so far Argus has popped using this method. so, obviously, im still tryin this out. sittn @ this camp from 18-30+ hrs wuldnt b so bad if u know that argus will pop and not that dumb leech. now to jus get the dumb n00bs to not kill proto which is pointless in itself. anyhow, ive never seen any one else notice or mention this. any thoughts on this theory of mine?

This NM is such a bitch to camp. A few months ago I spent 2 weeks straight in the maze trying to camp, didn't get one claim :(
One day while chilling, I tell my bf "Let's go camp Argus!" He goes ok, and we head there without TOD or TH He was a 70 RDM/WHM, and I was a 60 RDM/RNG. Sat there the first night, he fell asleep and I left our charcters logged in, in hopes of getting TOD. I go to school the next morning, come back, and go straight back to camping.(I have his account so I can use him on my second computer for camping) It seems like no one killed him yet so I had some high hopes. Only two people camping, a 75 THF and NIN that teamed up, I have 2 comps and used my bf's character to make sure I didn't miss a spawn. At the same time while camping, I'm looking at these stories, and all the people who just walked in and got claim and got drop lol. "Wish I was that lucky..." My bf logged on shortly after and helped me camp. After 4 hours, he said he had to get something to eat, so i logged on his account just in case it decided to pop then. The THF then went into LK room and the NIN was the only one with me. He occassionally looked in the other room I had my bf's character standing in. So I watch him walk away from me, look at Alla, then hear *Squish Squish* *Blaze Spikes spell* I freak out, go to FFXI screen and get claim. Just wow... camped for a little over 5 hours and he's here. But prolly no drop lol no TH, so yeah. I kill him with my two characters, and then see "Wuffles defeats Argus" "You find a Peacock Amulet on Argus" "Wuffles obtains the Peacock Amulet" since I had myself on Quartermaster. And I was amazed... 1/1 on Argus, I only dreamed of having that happen to me. Never claimed him before. I was ecstatic! The poor NIN /crys and says He should have not left to check the other room, I felt pretty bad :p I equipped the Peacock Amulet and warp out. Still in a state of shock. I'm waiting for all the higher lvl THFs in my LS to log in and see what I got ^^ I can't believe I got this lucky.

Congratulations on the Drop! ^^ I'm planning on camping this soon and from Odin as well. Do you have the TOD for this guy? I heard he's a pain to camp, so any tips would be appreciated. Character name is: Drkcrmsn :D
Widescan is a must to camp this. If you stand in the main large room it makes looking at Widescan much easier. The only place Argus can pop that you won't be able to visually see is the small room with the two bats. If Argus does pop there, his name appear closer to the bottom of the list where the two bats are listed right before the list of leeches. And obviously spaming to the bottom of the list and ignoring the rest allows you to quickly check if Argus is in the small room or if LK has popped.
Also, strength of Widescan can be important. Widescan II is ideal, it scans just the right amount of space so you don't miss what you need, and it doesn't flood the list with mobs from much farther away that you don't need. To get Widescan II you need a BST 20-39 or RNG 1-19. Note that Widescan I which you only have with BST 1-19 is not strong enough to see all the mobs you need. 1-19 /RNG does not offer any good claim methods, whereas on the other hand /BST 20-39 offers Charm which is a good way to claim NMs.
I've been camping as NIN/RNG, only cause my BST isn't high enough and I don't have any jobs high enough level with a better way to claim. I have to use a Ni spell to claim which in the world of NM hunting is slow, but when camping these specific NMs you often have enough time since most people aren't paying complete attention.
If you manage to kill Argus or Leech King in an area where you're alone and thus no one else has the ToD, I'd recommend going AFK while you sleep in the Maze. Campers are smart and they may assume you got the kill and know the ToD now if you leave and come back later the next day, so they'll look for whether you're in the maze or not. This way if you stay AFK all night they may assume you were AFK trying to get a ToD as well and don't know anymore than they do.

To get a ToD while AFK most people recommend you keep all your filters on so you can keep track in the chat log. No filter will get rid of "XXXX has defeated XXXX" but some people are clever and realize they might not get the drop if they get the claim, and will pull the mob away from you then kill it. If you had all your filters on, you will wake up with no ToD. I leave Attacks by others off, that way you can see if they go to claim Argus. I suppose you risk having the chat log flooded if there is a lot of activity by you over the night, but in my experience that isn't the case. Now that people know about this too I suppose to be safe they could just fight around you a lot to flood your log and erase any ToD if they got claim and no drop.
Regardless, just trying to help people looking to get a ToD using the AFK method.

Ok I've been camping Argus for about 2 months now. Im starting to get really frustrated with him. Here's my story. I always camp as 50RNG/25THF for Flee, Widescan, TH, and Eagle Eye Shot claim. This past two weeks ive been really camping him and my goal was to have a Peacock Amulet before Christmas. Im 0/7 on Argus with TH1 or Th2 and im 3/25 Leech King. I always stand in the main room right in front of the hut. But today was different. Ive had ToD for two weeks straight haven't lost it. I made a deal with a 75 THF with TH3 to help me camp for some of my items in exchange. I wasn't sure if Argus was going to pop because he popped yesterday and I missed claim. I had the Thief watch the first 3 hours of the window for me while im in school and I come back about 3 hours into it. The window time was 11:21 AM EST-11:21 PM EST. So I come back from school and asked if anything popped and he said no and I was ready to camp Argus. 3:00, 4:00 5:00, 6:00 stroll by, nothing. I thought maybe LK popped. So at 6:30 I check widescan ARGUS flee Eagle Eye Shot claim, got him. He popped in the wierdest spot, in the hallway to Leech King room. I've asked around and none of my friends ever seen that. With the new update a Thief has to use steal, mug etc for TH2 3 or 4 to activate so I called my Thief over he engaged was a 1 minutes fight and I see "You find a Peacock Amulet on Argus" I start jumping for joy, pumping my fists and im estatic. All those months of camping its finally over I will never set foot in the maze again ^^ :P. This is what I learned from two months of camping Argus:
1. Widescan is a must
2. The 16 Minute mini window is incorrect
3. If there is a lot of competition stick to the main room
4. Peacock Amulet is like a 100% drop with TH3 or 4 always try to have that 0/7 with Th1 or 2 1/1 with Th3 so ya my point ^^
5. Dont think about camping at all just watch TV and check widescan every 5 minutes or so

While a congragulations are in order for you, you have listed two very incorrect points.
1.
For TH to become active, a Thf must have been on the hate list by the time the monster KO's (ie - one slash of the dagger would be enough). TH from one Thief does not stack with TH from another Thief
2.
I went 1/3 on Argus with TH4.
I only point this out, because if new people to the game read Orphanos's post and take it word for word, they could end up very dissapointed. Also, to get TH3 or 4, you have to equip armor/weapon that states 'Treasure Hunter +1'. This immplys that the Treasure Hunter affect is increased by 1%. I realise when it comes to the mechanics of TH, No one can say for sure exactly how it works.
My theory of TH (based on wiki's version): Its all based on the Random number Generator. Say you are camping Leaping Lizzie, for boots to drop, roll must be say 200-300. Any other roll means no drop.
Example NoTH: 200-300
TH1: 190-310
TH2: 170-330
TH3: 160-340
TH4: 150-350
So an invisible roll at death of mob, if it is in certain boundaries, you do or do not get the drop. But the above implys LL has a 10% drop rate, with TH4, that Drop rate is increased to 20% (all that was Theory not fact) just another way of looking at it.

Argus wasnt hard at all, maybe 20 hours camping, widescanning every 5 mins.while watching TV. First night LK popped. killed it no drop.
2nd night. Argus popped an hour into window. lol, ran to claim. A botter warp-hacked..but into a rock and was stuck AFK
just watch something interesting and widescan every few mins. dont think about camping, or else you get bored. its not too hard....just alot of patience

I am an avid NM hunter and will always try people's theories and what not for camping NMs. On Argus, 16 min mini window seemed like a valid claim. With exact TOD to the second, I mapped out a 16 min window time table and a 16th minute time table as some claimed (16 minutes + 1 minute for pop, basically a new window every 17 minutes) and camped his window for 10 hours checking widescan religiously every 30 seconds. Sadly, when Argus did show up on widescan, it was a time when both 16 and 17 minute windows were same time, but Argus was 4 minutes early to window. I wanted to be a believer and hoped it was true, but it was so easily discounted the first time out camping. I will try again to make sure there was no personal mathematical error on my part. I did get claim on Argus 0/1 T_T. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep a daily TOD when I can not be at keyboard at camp? I work alot and tried leaving my character down there to read logs in conjuction with conquest updates, but if LK pops or Argus pops out of my log range, I won't see anything. If you have a method that works for you and do not want to make it public, please PM me. I am on Kujata, so maybe there is no conflict. For a company that does not want you to forget your friends, family, and work, SE sure does screw you over on this NM.

Been camping for the last 5-6 nights, hoping to get the Amulet in addition to Ochimusha kote for my sam.
So, after the first 3 days of Leech King, it's been Argus, Leech King, Argus.
2/2 Argus claims 0/2 drop.
So today the window time was 28 hrs from ToD.
I'm staring at the screen for 10hrs and just then a NIN who didnt have ToD, and that I'd never seen before runs in.
He kills a Scorpion turns around as I look over. And, bam, Argus. My heart skips a beat as a I run to it and use stun macro.
"Nanick casts Stun.
Argus is Stunned."
Exact words, but oddly enough, name stayed yellow. Nin took out his weapons, hit it, and its name turned purple....
This seems like a strange glitch to me and is paticularly vexing as I waited 10 hrs. for my claim to be lost in this way.
I am quite upset. I camped, staring at the screen for today as long as a work shift, and this guy comes for 45 seconds and gets it. This isn't fair. I know this is a rant and nothing can be done, but I had to put it into writing.
It has probably been my most disturbing ffxi experience, but I'm gonna suck it up and go back tonight, and again until I get it. /sigh...
So, after the first 3 days of Leech King, it's been Argus, Leech King, Argus.
2/2 Argus claims 0/2 drop.
So today the window time was 28 hrs from ToD.
I'm staring at the screen for 10hrs and just then a NIN who didnt have ToD, and that I'd never seen before runs in.
He kills a Scorpion turns around as I look over. And, bam, Argus. My heart skips a beat as a I run to it and use stun macro.
"Nanick casts Stun.
Argus is Stunned."
Exact words, but oddly enough, name stayed yellow. Nin took out his weapons, hit it, and its name turned purple....
This seems like a strange glitch to me and is paticularly vexing as I waited 10 hrs. for my claim to be lost in this way.
I am quite upset. I camped, staring at the screen for today as long as a work shift, and this guy comes for 45 seconds and gets it. This isn't fair. I know this is a rant and nothing can be done, but I had to put it into writing.

Me and my friend Vandel on Kujata camped this for 6 days straight. We knew since we were camping together there would be grief because someone would get outlotted on the PCA when it dropped. On day six, it was about 3 A.M in the morning and Argus pops in the small room. I see it on scan and am running with it and the NIN/THF uses flee. luckly he had no way to claim so i quickly Flashed (65PLD/32RNG) and get claim. Needless to say my eyes were dropping out of their sockets when i was casting flash and saw Argus claimed. We ended up getting a hecteyes and a Peacock Amulet. My friend lotted a 422, and i lotted a 621. I felt kinda sorry for him but we knew it would have to happen :(. He had a charm anyways so it wasn't that big of deal for him. Now, as for information.
Helpful Tips:
1.Protozoan in the Hut theory *Seems* to be correct. 75% of the time Argus popped when the protozoan was in the hut.
2. Bring /RNG even if you have a friend. I camped the first 5 days as 75MNK/37RNG and last day 65PLD/32RNG. My friend was just there to help claim as 75WAR/NIN37. I camped in the hallway leading to Argus room and he camped out by the hut where the protozoan is.
3. Do not camp this alone without widescan. Just a waste of time if LK pops.
4. I recommend playing music and chewing gum, it will help keep you awake.
5. 16 Minute window is NOT accurate.
6. Scan frequently, Argus has a chance of popping anytime within the 12 hours. (18-30 HR spawn)
7. Argus will generally pop around the 22-26 mark. LK usually pops between 18-22 and 26-30. This is not entirelly true just a generalization of what most people say. Argus did pop for me at the 28 hour mark so i cannot confirm, but this NM is completely random.
8. Stay awake, and happy camping!
(P.S: Can't tell if TH helps. Had a TH4 friend with Asn Armlets +1 help me and no drop. Had no TH1 and got the drop. Hard to say, I would camp RNG/THF if i had that combnation for Flee, Shadowbind, and Scan. BST/THF works also.)

As far as the two argus go, I think when it pops in the small room/in the hall, it will be below the two bats. When it pops in the big room, it will be on top of the bats. (This doesnt really matter because if you see it your hearts gonna burst anyways :P)

I was bored as usual and figured why not go camp this guy. I had no ToD and have put in maybe a total of 48hrs trying to get ToD,but haven't been back in a few months. I kill all the scorpions,goblins,and leeches and leave Protozoan alone. After clearing the leech room a 2nd time I go back to heal up where Scorpions pop. Two others camping in the same room and I /salute /cheer them both while resting. Some /random Elvaan runs by and kills Protozoan and keeps running by. Im at about 75% HP and Argus pops right on top of me I stand up, hit my Steal macro and his name turns Red. w00tga!!!! My lil taru friend gets to camp as soon as I kill him and the Amulet drops. I equip the necklace and get examined by both campers and they warp out. The rush alone of finally seeing this NM after never seeing him ever was awesome, but getting claim w/Steal from a resting position over two campers who were probably there hours was even better. Im sure they didn't like the fact I was only there 30 minutes though lol. 61THF btw. /hurray.

Don't mean to gloat, so don't take it the wrong way.
I camped this through Christmas 2006 (Everyone had time off work and school, lots of Active campers) I went 0/6 on both Leech King and Argus.
Ok, so I decided to try again in April Easter Holidays (Not quite so bad, I had time off, most people were working, but still, a fair few active campers). I didn't get a ToD, I just gotp urely lucky when setting up camp for ToD the night before, left running until 10 hours later, then started actively camping. (So I never actually had a ToD)
Whilst camping, I just played other games or did other silly tasks (Hate SE for not enabling Alt+Tab or Windowed mode, but I guess you can always use Windower if your really bothered...) Camped from 8am ~ 8pm, checked Widescan, and double checked, couldn't believe my eyes (Yes... I actually missed him the first time, but double checked because I wasn't sure if I actually saw his name. XD) got pop and claimed got drop. 1/1 on drops, 1/7 on claims (RNG DCed and signed back in just as it poped, I feel so sorry for that guy)
From my experience... (Although not quite as accurate as some other peoples because I only camped 7 times) the Prototzan doesn't make any difference to pop location. Easiest thing to do it just check widescan every now and then, I was playing games and checking widescan every 5~15 mins. Saved me a bundle, had fun camping. > . >
Lastly, I would like to say to anyone camping this NM that isn't subbing WHM or has uber Evasion skill (Like me) I went THF60 and had problems with Paralyze, very potent, kick in often. Unless you can get rid of it, have decent evasion or shadows, I'd recommend Lv.60+ with Bloody Bolts or healing magic of come sort. Otherwise depending on your skill Lv.50 should be ok (WHM50 with good melee skill would do good, RDM50/WHM25, BLM/WHM etc~)

I noticed other posts saying his window is 18-30, I think it's actually 18-36. Me and a friend I made while camping argus have rarely seen up to 36 hour pop. Though however unlikely, it's always possible we missed a pop at 18 hours and got another 18 hr pop.
Spawns anywhere in the big scorpion room, small bat room or the hallway in between. seen him 4 times in the far east corner near the small puddle, saw 2 in the middle of the room, 1 in the hallway and 2 in the bat room.

So I'm a lvl 52THF now (my first melee job) and after wiffing through a battle or 2 i decided i should give Argus a shot. Been leaving my char afk at Argus for the past few days, at first never saw anything, maybe because ToD was erased from goblins casting blaze spikes and other stuff or maybe leech king poped instead.
Anyway, yesterday i took a study break and was randomly widescanning, got up to open my window and when i turned around i saw Argus taking dmg on my log, just missed him by a few seconds.
I wasn't too upset, the other guy was so quick even if i had been at my keyboard he probably would have claimed anyway (I'm sure he knew the ToD also, to be so alert). So with ToD in hand I set my alarm clock to get me up for 8:30am which was when the window opened today, I guess I was a little anxious because i got up an hour early (lol). When i logged on there was only 1 other person in my LS, my good lvl59 BRD friend, she asked me if i wanted any help, i said sure "It'll help pass the time".
She showed up 10min before the window opened and set her self up in the small Argus room with the 2 bats, I stood at the end of the hall facing the big room where all the afk ppl/other campers were. So window opens and i start widescanning for leech King and watching the big room. 20min pass and i'm thinking "Oh god, its going to be a long day" ... then like some crazy dream I see on my log "Arwin start casting Battle Field Elegy on Argus", i rush over (Along with 2 other campers) and quickly sneak attack him, fight took about 3-4min and he was kind enough to lend me a Peacock Amulet. (1/1 ^^).
Anyway Bottom line, -- He poped 20min into window, rare i'm sure, i've never seen anyone report a time like that yet on the forum here, but then again its like 71 pages long.

After hearing from a LS member that "Argus was out and nobody was around," I proceeded to the Maze of Shakhrami on foot immediately from Castle Oztraja only to arrive dissapointed. Placing my faith in that member I decided to hunt Argus for a grim 2 weeks of consecutive stakeouts and now I'd like to share those results. Hunting Advice
1) Though the mini-window thing may work for you. It might not be entirely accurate at pin-pointing when the NM will spawn even with the exact ToD. When the last Argus spawned in front of me it was literally at the halfway mark between windows.
2) Try not to worry about the Protozoan being somewhere- even though Argus has appeared for me while it was Roaming or dead, other posts claim the opposite and I've tried to show a fair number of it in both positions.
3) The 18-30 hr spawn window seems fairly accurate. I have not seen either NM spawn before 19hrs 10mins myself but I've been up to the 29hrs 35 min mark on one occasion. (rounded to 30 above)
4) For those using widescan and wondering where to keep one's eyes:

1) Though the mini-window thing may work for you. It might not be entirely accurate at pin-pointing when the NM will spawn even with the exact ToD. When the last Argus spawned in front of me it was literally at the halfway mark between windows.
2) Try not to worry about the Protozoan being somewhere- even though Argus has appeared for me while it was Roaming or dead, other posts claim the opposite and I've tried to show a fair number of it in both positions.
3) The 18-30 hr spawn window seems fairly accurate. I have not seen either NM spawn before 19hrs 10mins myself but I've been up to the 29hrs 35 min mark on one occasion. (rounded to 30 above)

ok firstly is it possible for either LK or Argus to spawn before the 18hrs after ToD, i ask tis because i have camped other nms like VE and LL and there re-pop window is 1hrish owever i have had LL spawn in 5mins after ToD, so is this possible.
also when people say they go afk for a long time ( sleep work, school etc) and they leave there pc/xbox or w/e how can they get a ToD when they get back?
and lastly anyone wanna team p on Hades server?

Actually, when people say LL has a 1 hour re-pop, it's just an estimate of when it usually pops. Both of those are lottery pop nms, meaning they can, hypothetically, pop an unlimited amount of times in a row (the probability for it is of course incredibly low). They have a certain probability for popping instead of their place holder, which makes the minimum time for both to respawn 5 minutes. Argus has no place holder, and is no lottery NM. So no, he can't pop before his 18 hour window.

Let me clear up this 5 min LL conundrum. LL is a 1-2hr NM. the reason she can pop 5 mins after death is bcoz there are 2 copys of her, but only one can be loaded at a time. one above the big rock, one below the big rock. Having played around with memory i know this. she has 2 seperate locations in the memory of ffxi. the reason i know only one can be loaded is becoz i claimed the lower one, and slept her for almost 2hrs on top of the hill near bastok entrance, while someone else killed the upper PH. after i killed her, the other copy of her loaded during respawn of PH's.
hope that clears up things. so if u see her spawn above the big rock, go to the lower level coz she'll pop there next

They turn on all their chat filters so all they see in there log is when a mob was killed. Every hour you get the conquest update(the big paragraph of gray letters) so all you have to do is count how many conquest updates are in your log after the NM died and you have an approximate ToD.

Never seen Argus before ... only on Pictures on this side...
Logged before Update in Maze of Shakrami and waited the 6 hrs.
Then i logged in as fast as i could after Update and BAM there
was Argus standing in front of me.Got Claim and Drop at First Try lol
Think it was luck that Argus was on cause i heard that Argus shares
window with Leech King...
But im so happy that i dont have to camp this mob 24/7 cause of not
knowing ToD...
