Festive Moogle
# May 30 2008 at 9:04 AM Rating: Decent
Ok guys, I can't find this in Allakhazam but maybe one of you know.
In Sandy there is a moogle by the mh in Port area. He is labeled "Festive Moogle" I have spoken with it on multiple occasions and all he talks about is adventurers helping moogles in the wild and since I haven't he doesn't have a gift for me.
Any one know what this guy is for?

change moogle
# Apr 20 2006 at 9:51 AM Rating: Decent
1) How can you change you moogle to a NPC or ifrit or somthing?

2) can you do it on ps2?

3) will SE get mad?
RE: change moogle
# Apr 27 2006 at 10:43 AM Rating: Decent
have to replace the moogle dat file with a copy of the NPC or ifrit dat file.

And no you can't do it on the PS2. And SE probably wouldn't like you to do it but since its a local thing what they don't know won't hurt them.
ugh

Pimp Moogle

I found a pair of Mithran Panties (Rare/EX) under my Noble's Bed. Upon asking my moogle who they belonged to he whispered "Revolution..."

I smell a moogle revolt.

Damn, I got roped into doing a safe upgrade so I could carry more items. I didn't think much of it, but now ... I gave him a Power Crossbow. He's going to assassinate.

Why does "nomad" version (only able to use mog safe, check deliver box, and change jobs) sometimes appear in the middle of a starting nation?

I've seen moogle hover above the crowd near the South San d'Oria AH once, and twice now I've seen moogle hover over the water in north Windurst Waters. What makes him appear in these places? Baffles me :/

moogle vs. the GF

The most vicious attack these little trouble makers appear to incur is the "girlfriend dump threat" attack, taking at least 200-500 xp away from any main job. Will aggro girlfriends on sight into a "you play this game way too much" move that cannot be countered and has a 100% attack rate. The amount of time spent mending the broken relationship many xp are lost...stear clear for sure.

You gotta prep for that by casting "barbreakupra" on your girl. And maybe if you beat the moogle you can get the rare spell drop "barnagging"

There are four types of these vicious NMs

One is in a special dungeon similar to Dynamis but only one adventurer can enter called a "Mog House" It has the ability to summon various furniture into this "Mog House". They can also use spells called "Mogenhancements" and can use furniture to produce plants that have a special move which causes you to return back to this dungeon once ever 24 hours. But the most dangerous ability is for it to change your job class. This is usually signified by the Moogle doing a deadly spinning dance.

The second type is in what seems to be a kind of extended Moghouse called a "Rent-a-Room" While not having the furniture ability. They are able to Warp to the Moghouse and channel the plants' attacks from the moghouse into the rent-a-room.

The Third is a 'Nomad' Moogle, lucky the most weakest kind, only having the ability to change jobs. But it attacks fast and in the open areas usually appearing in cities.

The last is the "Event" Moogle, this is completely different and very dangerous. It spawns whenever SE wants it too, and it can steal valuable hours of playtime from you, flood your inventory with random (and most likly dangerous) items and causes massive lag by using a kind of gravity effect sucking any adventurers near it.

You only need a simple bed to get moghancement: exp as long as its the only thing in your MH.
Does anyone know anything about the travelling moogle appearing in lowjeuno?
Re: !!!
# May 27 2004 at 5:23 PM Rating: Default
And who can forget-Have the Ability to give you crappy Abilities Like Moghancement: Light or Moghancement: Earth. Sometimes they pull a good one out like Moghancement: Experience-This is where you lose 25% less XP when you get stabbed in the back by a Party Member who was not paying attention. For this Moghancement all you need is a "Bronze Bed" and an "Armor Box". And who can forget that he doesn't carry guns...he carries spears and Lances...and uses them better than DRGs, SAMs, and WARs

This is not a lottery pop NM, it appears when SE feels like making it appear. It's special attack makes girls shed their panties on the spot, and at 300% TP it unleashes a devistating AOE call "Lag-4-U" which brings AH trading to a standstill, and occationally can drop your receive rate to 0.

Actually, you can usually tell when it is going to appear based on the calendar. For instance, if a major "Holiday" is coming up, it is very likely that a Moogle will appear in one of the listed places. If you intend to camp this NM, be prepared well in advance of any "Holiday" as everyone and their mother (chicks love the moogles) will show up as soon as the Moogle appears.

Yep, the original FFIII was released on Famicom. =) But I won't object to the fact that you may be speaking of the FFIII that was released on American soils on the SNES.

Final Fantasy III hasn't been released yet in North America.

Final Fantasy VI was released in America as Final Fantasy III, and in Japan as Final Fantasy VI. Final Fantasy VI was re-released in America on Playstation as Final Fantasy VI in Final Fantasy Anthologies.

I have seen them hiding in my mog house a time or two. About scared the bejesus out of me.

I know for a fact that they hold all kinds of stuff not listed here, including rare and exclusive rare items, many of which sell for big gil at the AH.
