|  Jobs vary from Red MAge, Black Mage or White Mage. Appears during the West Sarutabaruta Garrison event. The more of these NPCs that are alive at the end, the better the rewards. They are capable of casting nearly any spell which players at Level 20 can cast, and are smart enough to use Poisona or Blindna on themselves (as well as players) as needed. Unfortunately, they are NOT smart enough to spend time properly buffing, and are hesitant to pursue the Garrison mobs unless a player does as well. The person turning in the rare/ex item (in this case, the 7-know quipis) must be from the country that the garrison is located in, i imagine that this is based on who controls the region at the time. So if somehow Bastok or Sand'Oria took over Sarubatura i imagine you would have to be of their natonality to turn the quipis in. However that too is just a theory, but i do know that you can be of any nationality to participate

did this about a week and a half ago. finished all 4 waves and got 777 gil 2 manniquin feet and garrison tunic and garrison gloves. i lost the lot on it but it was fun. you need 7 knot quipis dropped in giddeus from yagudo priests, yagudo theologists, and yagudo votaries. also you must be from windhurst to be able to turn in the quipus i believe, although i've never tested that theory
