I got this quest too, but my Jeuno fame was only around level 5 or 6 at the time...
If you look up "Mathilde" as a mob on this site you'll see some theories as to what her whole story is. My guess is that she's really "Emelyn" shown in the opening video, and has named her son "Aldo" because the only thing she remembers about her past is her brother (also seen in the video, and most likely the Aldo in Jeuno).
I'm guessing Square-Enix hasn't completed the rest of this story/quest yet, because the boy is nowhere to be found and it just kind of ends there...
Anyways looks like it could prove to be another really interesting quest ^^

Same here, max jeuno fame, after doing "her part" in "It's Raining Mannequins" quest got same cutscene... odd... I haven't read anything about her giving a quest anywhere before...
What is even more odd, I don't have quest listed in quests list. And talking to Mathilde does nothing.
Guess we need to find and talk to that boy - who should be grown up man now.

I talked to Ramona, and got a cutscene about her daughter Mathilde, and how she was adopted. Seems she was found on a trade route 20 years ago. It went on to say that Mathilde has no memory of her past but remembers a boys name.
Is this part of a quest? I got the cutscene after maxing Jeuno fame with moss.
Any ideas?
