this guy was pretty easy but I noticed that whenever I actually did try to camp him he never popped. I just got lucky with him one night though! I was trying to camp my lantern shield when I went over to take some orcs and there he was! As soon as I came out of the tunnel with my lantern shield I looked over to see he had popped again! Lantern shield and two Obelysks! too bad I wasn't as lucky with the auriga xiphos

I kill this while waiting on breacher and berricader.
The extra 1k for the obalisk is slightly helpful.
Only ever gotten the belt once, it sold for 2k.

Anyhoo, Figured I'd take him on since I had Utsusemi: Ichi.

Used Invincible but all in all easy kill. Got an Obelisk. Wish I could have got that before I started to Lv my DRG. -_-; Whatever. sh*tty NM I.M.O. lol

i made 4k fishing cheval salmon, got a faceguard drop of a random orc i killed, a stack of pugil scales whilst waitin for him 2 spawn, he spawned twice in an hour 1 obelisk and the plate belt cool(the obelisk sells for 3k in sandy on odin server)just off to see how much i get for the plate belt and scales etc......cool :)

this NM isnt really worth camping onless you dont have 1k (whitch would be pretty sad) just buy obelisk and dont waste ure time on it although i have never goitten plate belt out of the 10 times ive killed him camping the other 2 NM's 10/10 on obelisk 0/10 on belt

Its my 3rd after the 2 war machines a lil up north, (no drops from them 0/2) so I came down and killed him in about a 15 second span with my ws and berserk, not hard at all.

My friend's girlfriend wanted to start playing the game, so I told her I would pl her for a bit so she can get used to it. She watched us play alot, so she had a good idea about everything, but she was still a crazy little noob ^^

Anyway, I told her to /check everything and tell me what they rated at, and we were in ghelsba and saying "Wow, those are VT and IT over there, I think I will die" then she just get's, well, dipresed or something. We all look at her and ask what's wrong, and she sais "I'll never be able to beat that one, it says 'Impossible to Gague'"! We all jumped, cause we didn't know sh!t about any nm in Ghelsba and people were screaming "Kill Kill Kill"! Killed it, got the poker thingy, almost droped it, not realy worth, gave it to her to make some money, but every one of us in the room just started laughing our ass's off : )

hey im a broke guy in Fenrir ill kill anything even if its only worth 100 gil but this isnt to bad 3k i think is pretty good

Personally, this is the crapiest MOB (dropwise) on my server anyways. I usually jus run out and take a peek while camping the warmachines, tain a few orcs back in to help maybe. Ive killed him twice and i think he drops obeRIP like very time. (i did have TH1 though) IDK, im 2/2 on him cause i usually dont bother to even waste time on him anymore since i could barely sell those spears for a measly 500 gil each. I dont have any actual hunting experience with him but im guessing u kill orcs in the area and no idea of a spawn time.

Killed this guy randomly while waiting for a 5-2 party to form. I was 58THF/23BLM. I was training like 10 grunts at the time, and killed them all with Cyclone including the NM.

God I need something to do.

A LS buddy (Sphyere, WHM 13/BLM 6) and I (BLM 13/WHM 6) beat him last night. We got the Obelisk and a Fire Crystal. He was extremely easy to defeat: I had on my Blaze Spikes and we spammed Water and Banish on him.

he only has 2 arms not 1000 =P

Fought him with my War the other day just for kicks. Easy NM, and got the Oblisk. Just fought him to cross him off my list ^^

I fight this guy every time i go farming iv beat him twice and get the plate belt (2000g) and the obelisk (600g) it worth it considering i only make like 5000 farming and a 2000 plate belt helps out

this thing also spawns in Fort Ghelsba near a yughott grotto entrance

So, me and my level 22 WAR/MNK NM hunting buddy are hunting the Barricader and Wallbreacher (as well as logging). Lost Wallbreacher, got Barricader with no drop. So I use my sister's comp, check to see what NMs are nearby, and decide to sit and camp this guy (unaware that the stuff wasn't worth the hour and a half wait it took).

Killed third tiers, goofed off, and waisted a full stack of silver arrows in my case. (ouch. ><)

My bud goes afk, and I go after a pugil I see spawn in the water. I fall in the water. I have no idea how to get back up that's close, and I don't want to miss the spawn (even though there was no other campers)... So I stand in the water.

About thirty second later, he spawns, and I provoke him from down in the water. I whip out my dagger, and start hacking for about 25 a hit. 3 hits since the start, he goes 2hr.

Like I care. =/ I'm still at my full 435 HP, he's down to 3/4ths.

I killed him before my friend got back, and when he did, he was like "You killed it? o_o;"

BTW, Dropped Plate Belt and no Obelisk.

I got Oblisk 3 Times in a row :P

This guy drops neither Obelisk or the Plate Belt 100% of the time. I have killed him 2 times within about 2.5 hours of each other, first got belt, 2nd obelisk. Drops are random, i dont think spawn is dependant on other orcs because he seems to spawn the same interval... correct me if im wrong =)

When does this NM spawn?

I've killed him prolly 20 times with no drop of the plate belt. I don't think he drops it. However, he does drop the oblisk 100% of the time.

Easy kill for a level 16 Monk. Just watch for his 2 hour, all hits don't hurt him for about 30 seconds. If you come in with 300% TP, and your level 15-16, you can take him easly. Not sure how much weapon sells for.
