my understanding is the the recommended party is a standard party setup of 75s, or an alliance of lesser levels. Its been said that you only need to defeat this one, and not the lesser superna, but I haven't done this yet, so I don't know for sure. I would imagine, if you have a group that can take down Roc, or Simurgh, this should be no problem.

I need to do this mission soon and came here to find out what the NM's levels were but it seems no one had anything intelligent to say!!! (That's too bad!)

I have found that knowing what level and job they are plus any special attacks helps me determine how many people I need, what jobs I need to recruit, and what to be aware of when fighting the mobs.

Does anyone know if these can be slept? It would seem that just a few people could sleep bolt them to death. At level 68 I can solo anything that I can use sleep and bloody bolts on that don't have high dark defense, decent challenge - toughs.

Any useful information from people who have done this for us people that need to do it would be great as taking large teams ends up with delays, aggro leading to deaths, and much confusion when people run off to play while we are having a delay, ya, even high levels get dumb and impatient.

Thank-you for any posts that may help me tackle this fight!

-.- /sigh

in general most mission NM's rank7+ require or are at least doable with a generic pt of lvl70+, aka tank, healer etc. Even tho some of the Missions/NM can be solo'd duo'd by ppl with good/superior equip and/or considerable skill in playing their class(es).

NM's that are specifically bound to missions or higher quest (or AF) are in generell not sleepable by any means except for minion type mobs.

being prepared is good and all. But most stuff can be done by random groups, instead of complaining or demanding specific lvls u should go and give it a try. After all the info u have gathered yourself is the most accurate. Even totally stupid setups or ideas can turn out to work perfect (i once had a drk/war tanking IT's in a xp pt. . .)Everyone keeps talking how u need 12+ppl for the Sandy mission sabotender in altepa. . .i was bored of waiting and shouting and went alone. . . in th eend i solo'd him as rdm w/o too much trouble while some others who told big they need ppl and it's pointless to come with me since i can't do it anyway are still lokking for ppl. . .worst case you loose 24oo XP in exchange for an estimated strength.

I had a static of 3-4 people do Sandy Rank 6 to Rank 10 in a week. All of us Lv75, WHM, MNK, DRK, PLD. Nothing came close to giving us trouble and we would have had it done sooner if not for the annoying timer constraints on the Sandy missions.

Mission NM's are generally cake for even less than a PT of 75's.
wow!!

Talk about an oxymoron.
#REDACTED, Posted: Feb 10 2005 at 6:40 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I just watched a group of jp solo this. 4lvl 70-75rdm, 1lvl70 war, 1 lvl73brd. They made easy work of this and it's fledgeling.
