Actaully it's 500 points, 300 is to unlock latent.
and for the SC points, yougotta FINISH that kind of SC.

Once you have lvl 71 and Dagger lvl 230+... talk to Jakoh Wahcondalo in Kazham.
You need to earn 300 points using Dagger of Trials. You MUST use this dagger to earn the points. (This will remove the Latent Effect.)
1 pt = using a WS
2 pts = lvl 1 Skillchain
3 pts = lvl 2 Skillchain
5 pts = lvl 3 Skillchain.
After this... investigate the ??? @ I-8 (2nd map) in Gustav Tunnel to defeat an NM bat (Baronial Bat) and receive the Writing of Trial. Return to Jakoh Wahcondalo to receive your new WS.
