General Information

• Notorious Monster for the The Sacred Katana - SAM AF1 quest.

• Spawned by trading a Sack of Fish Bait to the ??? at (E-8) in Sanctuary of Zi'tah.

• The Sack of Fish Bait item can only be obtained from the Goblin Robbers that spawn in the Sanctuary of Zi'tah.

Isonade Special Attacks

• Intimidate: Frontal cone AoE Slow effect.

• Water Shield: Self target Evasion boost. (Effect can be dispelled).

• Water Wall: Self target Defense boost. (Effect can be dispelled).

• Screwdriver: Single target critical hit physical damage.

• Aqua Ball: AoE Water based magic damage with an additional Strength down effect. (Circle of effect originates from attack target).

• Splash Breath: Frontal cone AoE Water based magic damage.

Historical Information

In Japanese folklore, the Isonade was a giant cerulean shark said to dwell along the waters off the coast of the island of Kyushu. With its barbed tail, the Isonade would latch onto ships or sailors swept overboard and pull them to the murky depths. Any time it would surface to breathe fresh air, violent storms would quickly follow, with any victims of said storms being Isonade's prey.
