Intulo's Spawn Location

  • Will always spawn on, or at the base of, the ramp way.

Intulo Special Attacks

  • Geist Wall: AoE Dispel effect.

  • Nimble Snap: Single target physical damage.

  • Cyclotail: AoE physical damage.

  • Numbing Noise: Frontal cone physical damage with an additional Stun effect.

Historical Information

In Zulu mythology, the Intulo was a part lizard, part human creature that was assigned by the creator deity of the Zulu people to deliver to them the knowledge that all life, both animal and plant, will eventually die. Intulo was given this task because the chameleon Unwaba, assigned to deliver to them the gift of immortality, moved at an exceptionally slow pace, thus annoying the deity. Because he did not want to defy the creator, Unwaba never divulged the gift of immortality to all life, and as such, Intulo is considered the bringer of death by the Zulu people.

Just like the other posts say, it spawned right in the Manaclipper dock area by the Bibiki Bay zone. I'd say about Lv45-47 NM. Dropped Curaga Earring. Eft = placeholder. We left after we killed it, so I can't comment on spawn time.

I would like to know any info anyone whos been camping this NM may have.

Ive been hanging out in his general area, killing Eft's for about 3 hours now. I plan to stay another 3.

Does he only spawn on the path down to the docks? Has anyone seen him spawn more by the merchant huts or on the dock itself? Howabout on top of the ramp down, does he spawn there?

A friend of mine who had killed him yesterday says its a 2hr spawn + lotto pop, can anyone confirm this?

I was walking through once with a friend and it happend to be there so we killed it. (64 PLD, 62 WHM) Fight took a bit (a couple vorpal blades) were never in any danger. But we did get the Magic Slacks.

It's near the docks, if you look at the top right corner of the screenshot you'll see the docks along with the boarding person.

This NM also drops Magic Slacks, which go for 1 mil on the Valefor server. This was confirmed by my static where we got the Curaga earring, eft skin, AND the magic slacks! Very cool end to a nice night in Bibiki Bay.

Me and my friend Xeno [Yes, that's us above.. ^^;] were exploring Bibiki Bay one day, and lovely enough, after killing randomly at the enterance. I'm standing there, while my DRK friend is away, and I see it walk right past me, check it and it says "Impossible to Guage!"

I send a /tell to a THF friend who was there, and he says that this one is fairly easy. Well, once he gets back, we decide we want to kill it.. Reraise myself, buff, rest full and we go.

I'm a 55WHM, and he is a 47DRK. The fight actually took a few minutes, was a really slow fight, actually, and I end up spending 400ish MP during the whole thing [My MP is in the 600's at 55].. At one time it seemed like maybe he should blow his 2H [Which at this time he tells me he doesn't have it! Lol] but we were okay..

We only got an Eft Skin, which is 2k per on Kujata, but no Curaga Earring. ; ; Oh well, was fun to kill a newer NM.. ^^;
