Well, me and a few friends have been trying to get the Harajnite again. Fished up Cyclopean Conch 4 times, killed it 4 times, and no drops. Poison is 25HP a tick. Pt config of two DRK, one WHM, and one BLM. All members 70+.
Will update post again after a few more fights.

Before you go on the Manaclipper, bring atleast 2 Poison Potions, this poison is an AoE attack and the AoE is the whole Manaclipper so it's impossible to escape it. This poison takes 25 HP per tick. I died from the poison alone with 1220 HP.
AoE isn't that large. Unless perhaps the fight takes place in the very center of the Manaclipper by some rude players..

I fished this mob up on the boat a few days ago. Got it down to about half health before the boat docked. Burned all my mp in that time too. The harajnite shell that it drops is used in crafting the Igqira Huaraches, lvl 73 blm feet armor. Recomended PT to kill it would be about 4 dmg dealers 70+ and bring along anidotes. The poison is strong, and so is the mobs hp regen. Someone must have dispel to get rid of the mobs hp regen otherwise you'll get nowhere.
Fished up using a shrimp lure on the Manaclipper. Also can fish up Cyclopean Conch with seems to be about the same lvl of NM. Unsure of the drop on this mob. Planning on getting a few LS members together to take these NMs out next week. Will post the results.

To tell the truth...it doesn't hit very hard...but its aoe poison will take off 20+ HP a click, and he has high defense and a LOT of HP. You're more likely to run out of time on the Manaclipper before killing it than it actually killing you.

well we fished up this one NM honestly don't remember it's name about 9 times, killed it 8 times within the timelimit of the boat ride. (We had 75drg, 75mnk, 75pld, 60bst, 75blm). Then before i had to go, on the boat ride back, I fished up that NM right off my first cast. We had about the full 6mins of the boat ride, but our blm was near empty mp so we weren't able to kill him in time.

I seen 3 lvl 70+ people taking it on Blm and Rng and something else, and they just barely beat it in the time it took for the Manaclipper to land. The ranger almost died a couple times as well.
Any idea what type of level we're talking about for this thing here? Looks pretty bad.
