The Fomor PLD is also in the Wajaom Woodlands as well as the Bhaflau Thickets. They are in both of the areas as you leave the city.

Saw this yesterday as an Elvaan skin in Bhaflau Thickets. Almost tried my luck, but remembered these are not the ones that drop the JSE....just the ones in the Aquaducts.

Ive looked all over for pop locations for each of the Fomor types. I found nothing. I have since decided to post locations I have seen myself within the main lv of the Aqueducts for each of the Fomors I have encountered.

I have seen Fomor PLDs at:
(E-8) - here I met Fomor PLD, SAM and RDM in a Party together. Any attempt I have made to pull one from the PT without getting them all, including Carby pull, has failed. If anyone knows a way to pull them separately, post please.

I KNOW there are more, ill post as I find them.

ok a bit of fomor info:

one) they do agro very low to their level pc's

two) they will agro because you have built up fomor hate (killed fomors) hate increases the more you kill

three) you can reduce fomor hate by killing beastmen surounding safehold it'll take alot of dead orcs to go down even one level of hate.

four) the fomors outside safehold drop the file needed for tunning in quest.

five) the fomors who drop subligars are only in aquaducts dont build a ton of hate wasting your time killing the field fomors.
Drops?

I have just mad it to CoP chapter 2...and have killed a few of these... but what do theyd rop? Im 0/5 on em. I asked some JPN RDM and said {quest} so thats all I know.

I was in Miseraux Coast (sp?), I thought the JSE subligars only drop off the ones in Phomenia Aquaducts... correct me if Im wrong ^^;;

Darn, now I just have to remember to turn on /names when I get into the meadows... Well, who knows... maybe they won't aggro to level 70, I dunno. But still... I'm guessing they look like normal players from behind.

You know, I would willingly give 10,000 gil to an NPC just to activate this ability to the Fomors:

Fomor Paladin: RAWR!

Fomor Monk: Rawraru!!!

Cmon SE, work with the community a bit here. Everyone would think it was hilarious. xD

Please be wary of these things. I took on a Galka BRD and PLD as SAM55 just for the hell of it. Everything was going fine until they used an ability called "Dancing Chains" I believe. It said that I received the effect of Drown, and I brushed it off. Little did I know that this ability takes away 20 HP per tick or so. It wore off eventually...when I was dead. You've been warned.~

Just an odd, off the wall complete guess since I haven't even done any of the Promyvions, but perhaps they don't aggro their race?
Not sure about aggro

My shell appeared on lufaise medows after clearing chapter 1.
We whent sight seeing and aggroed a few things (highest was 50, lowest was 34).

After some stomping around, we found the ledge overlooking that castle from the opening movie.
It started to get dark and a party popped nearby.

I was about to walk over when I noticed their names we're the wrong color to be players ._.;;

Oddly enough, it didnt aggro our whitemage or ranger when they walked past.
The whm even whent back and looked up close at them, no aggro.

Im not sure I would rely on that tho.
Others have said before that they aggro pretty quickly, there might be something they aggro to that we arnt aware of.

ok, ive been in the COP areas for awhile and managed to make it to psoxja bcnm, (chapter 3 end), so i pretty much know my way around. and i know that the fomer's will aggro, if your lvl is low enough, or if their level is high enough. but what i ran into the other day baffled me. i went to the area in lufiase meadows where the IT++ to lvl75 rams are, and the bird type mobs, and where VT/IT fomers pop. there is also a nice view of old tavnazia from a ledge there. anyway, there were fomers on the ledge so i snuck, and enjoyed the view, morning came, and with it the fomer's dissappeared. afterwards i went afk for a little bit to get some dinner, and made it back a little bit before it was turning night, and i noticed a JP thf/nin there. i warned him in romaji that mobs appeared there, and he just smiled. keep in mind i know he did not have sneak. sure enough, the fomers popped and.......they did nothing to him. he even stood by them and waved. i had sneak up, and was baffaled. i came back later to test this with some LS mates and found that they DO aggro, after a whm ran up, dropped sneak, and was thouroughly beaten to death within seconds by these fomers.

So if anyone has gotten a quest to nullify the hate from fomers, please respond, itd be nice to get that done ^^

the fomors wont aggro if you havent killed any of them yet.
So you probably have killed one or several.

Also, the more you kill, the farther away they'll aggro.

you can also tell the level of the former by the armour that it is wearing, so if it is kampf/eisen set, it is gonna be level 29-36 about, since i see the pic of former pld is wearing silver mail. also the hate works like that of the tonberries, just don't know if it is resetable or not...haven't done many quests in cop areas, was just happy that i finally finished promyvs....my poor pld...

Bout Time
# Oct 05 2004 at 6:46 PM Rating: Decent
Bout time they made new shadow mobs all though its ganna be more scary now with other race shadows and all special if you dont notice the name and get blind sided.
Taur and Mithra.
# Oct 05 2004 at 11:34 AM Rating: Decent
Tauru are Monk and Summoner types. Mithra are Dark knight and Red mage.
They already have them.
# Oct 05 2004 at 2:01 AM Rating: Decent
All races have shadows now, in the CoP areas they are all over the place.
Red Mages are Mithra, Samurai are Hume, and Monk and Summoners are Taru. There are a few more, but I don't remember them off the top of my head.
More shadows
# Oct 04 2004 at 11:29 PM Rating: Decent
hopefully next we can see some Mithra Shadows, or maybe some hume. And yes even Tarutaru shadows would still be adorable.

Actually, from the pictures I've seen here, the Taru are pretty creepy. Glowing eyes and no faces! Although I suppose they'll satisfy the people who complained about the non-traditional look of black mages. ^_~
wow this is new

whoa thought shadows were only consisted of Dark Elfs. Guess not anymore, GALKAS REJOICE!

typo
# Oct 03 2004 at 12:25 PM Rating: Decent
No that would suck if it were true they have enough def and Hp without help. Its a classification typo. They probably use a program to type in the mobs but forgot to change the family to "shadow".
wow!
