I cant belive this is a NM it is way to weak i was out doing mission 2-3 as my 26whm/13blm a banishga and 2 fires and it was gone and Warchief Wrecker what kind of title is that.

dunno if anyone else posted this but if you end up with a title you dont like and want one of your old ones find a bard in any city, generally the title you want can be recieved from a bard in the area you obtained the quest, there will be one in every zone.
e.g. any quests you did in south san'doria can be recieved from a bard in south san'doria.

This doesn't even qualify as an NM....1) doesn't gauge {Impossible to Gauge} and 2) Warchief Vatgit == waste of time; just for the title of "Warchief Wrecker".....

hey is there a title like that for every job? like "paragon of Thief excellence"? o well i only plan to get RDM high anyway ^^
Back when I was a lvl 4 WAR noob, a lvl 9 RDM offered to pt with me. So I did. We went into Ghelsba Outpost and we were having fun, despite not gaining much xp. So eventually we came to the rope bridge that goes to where the Warchief spawns. He stops and says the following:
him> We're going to die.
me>No we're not, we've been kicking @$$.
him> If we keep going we're going to die.
him> Don't say I didn't warn you.
So we kept going. We got a few kills in, and then we spotted Warchief Vatgit. Me, being a noob at the time, suggested that we attack. We got pwnd. Not just pwnd, we got PWND! I got my revenge upon reaching lvl 24 (put it off for quite a while). Suprised he went down so fast. Well, actually, with Sturmwind, he didn't stand a chance anyway. went from 75% too DEAD in one WS. Go mission 2-3! (note: the whole lvl 4 noob incident happened on my Sandy mule, my main is from Bastok and he got the revenge, along with mission 2-3 part 1. Yeah, they're both WARs.)

I forget where I heard this, but there is a NPC in each town where you can change your title to any one of the titles you've previously earned.

well i only know about the one in San'Doria. In the Lion Springs tavern by the residential area in S.Sandy.

yeah, there are some mobs that would more appropriately be named Named Monsters instead of Notorious Monsters, because they don't really drop anything special (unless it's a quest/mission object), they spawn very quickly, and they don't con as 'Impossible to Gauge' but their real value.
Warchief Vatgit is definitely one of them, as I've seen him pop again just minutes after spawning the first time if you clear all the mobs from the area around his spawn point (sort of under the one hut by the cliff).

Well when i went to ghelsba to farm fire crystals on my level 11 Theif I went straight for a Orc mage.
Suddenly my hp began to fly down quickly like an IT was attacking me. And sure enough Warchief Vatgit comes into view high and mighty and I died... I think I'll farm in Pashow on my level 41 samurai from now on^^.

This orc is useless in every aspect. Its not an nm, doesnt drop ****, (if u r a low lvl and u have signet u can score a whole fire crystal) and its pops as a normal orc there. Its jus a bit bigger, thats all. It does serve a purpose to kill for a bastok mission though.
I was Soloing up there and there was another PT there... I was lvl 10 PLD and Mr. Warchief Aggros the PT, so I hit provoke, since the PT was lvl 7 or so. I call for help, use invincible and everyone whails the thing. Kinda cool that a whole buncha low lvlers killed this lvl 16er....
Please, leave this for people that need to do the mission. You woun't get ANYTHING special.
lol he spawns every 5 minutes you dont have to worry about no one getting it its not like hes overly camped XD

Wow, I didn't even realise this guy even resembled a NM until now. Me and a pt of 2 others whacked this guy as we were passing through to get the ghelsba key. Hell, I thought he was just some new mob I had never seen before. I have to agree, the nm here meanse named monster certainly not notorious!
2 wacks with a neckchopper he was done. I thought he be tougher at lvl 22war and mighty strike 2 wacks!!!

when i first fought this guy...i was a lowly lvl 8 rdm man did he own me (this was before i knew how to "check" mobs) i came back to Ghelsba to help my friend get his Ghelsba Chest Key for Kazhaam Airship Pass and he needed to kill this dude...i was just strolling by and he was there...i just kept on telling my friend that he is just a big pushover, just a softy, and all sorts of things that make him seem less difficult. He just went on thinking that he was really hard to kill, oh man did i show him up, i killed him in two hits, SA and a regular atk and he was as good as a wild rabbit against a lvl 75 = dead. We got the key and left, it was easiest mission i would think of doing, only cuz i was lvl 30 at that time =)
yes he is a pushover but he still is an nm

um i dont know what ur talkin about but he dont drop that key srry and at lvl 30 u cant kill it in two hits i dont care waht u have my mnk is lvl 33 and i cant kill it in 2 hits and im a DD!!!!

NM will always say imposible to gauge this sucker does not and he does not drop 1 single thing he gives a stupid title and when he pops there is a couple of more orcs that pop and is kind of funny that some ppl under lvl 16 fought him and others didnt link anyways i dont waist my time with him you guys have fun fightting it goodluck. i was lvling my drg at lvl 9 at the top and saw like 16 lvl 8-10 ppl go up and clear the area Witch made me mad and then they wait for teh war chief to spawn and POW 16 down in 32 hit i was watch a little two close so i got arrgor and died two

This dude was placed at this spot for the cynical intent of the creators to keep n00bs from getting cocky lol. so i usually camp it so that way the lvl 6-14 people who run through there dont get owned. lol hopefully they'll save my **** one day when im being chased by Frostmane or something crazy like that lol...
Speaking of n00bs, remind me to hang up a flashing sigh that says, "USE PUNCTUATION MARKS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!" When they type a post they do it all in one sentence and I can't make out a single theing -_-
As for this big guy, He's not so tough if you know how to go about killing him. I was about level 20 when I got him, and he even checked as a "decent challenge". You heard me, no "Impossible to gauge" crap. It was weird.

I just killed this guy (Doing 2-3 finally... yes I know /clap /clap for me) Got the stupid title, no loot but gil, went back to Consult or whatever for my region, and they're SUPPOSED to tell me to go to Windy or something, but instead say the same things prior to me slaying that War dude. Did I miss something? I killed it, got the title and everything and it still isn't moving on with the mission.

erm... this guy has nothing to do with Mission 2-3. Unless Bastok or Windy have different Mission 2-3s, which are unlikely.
Anywho - 2-3 involves going to Bastok or Windy first. Doing some running around then running to the other nation you didn't go to first. Then you kill a dragon. Neither of which involve this non-NM orc.

If you're Bastokian and you choose to go to San d'Oria first, Halver first asks you to defeat ...*gasp* Warchief Vatgit.
2/3 is different for every country because it involves being an "Emissary" for your country and going to the remaining two. Which means that the mission 2/3 for another country wouldn't be the same as yours, would it?
Check your facts before you treat people like they don't know what they're saying. YES, this mob is involved in Mission 2/3 for Bastok.

I was leveling up one of my friends in the ghelshba area...farming some orcs at the same time with another friend (lvl.12 RDM and a lvl. 11 WAR) and we see the warcheif on the hill. we said we were gonna try him after we heal....and while we were healing, a damn ranger came, picked him off one shot with his bow...down he goes, so we thought he wouldn't be that hard so we waited for him to respawn, turns out he wasn't hard at all! we beat him within aa inch of his life...and we were only level 11 and 12! you can easily take this guy with two level 13 in your party

well wen i need money i usaually use my war/thf to get money and wen i go lvl i use my war/mnk so basically i have like but i can switch them however i want them which is kinda fun wen i travel to ghelsba outpost i just take the junk wood ppl dont want for easy gil. then ill go sell it and buy a few hatchets and sell those for half the price of its 500gil price which is 300gil and of course its fun to get easy money... you guys should try it, its worth while. you get about 300-600gil for wood...its like i scratch your back you scratch my back in a way... when you do it make sure you have alot of room in your inventory...
i was like lvl 14 sittin in the outpost farmin gil when i see some big orc on the top of a hill so i say to myself i can take anything here being the stupid idiot i am i went up there and i was like yay an NM but he aggroed me and i was like YES.
But i took out my sword and thump kealjr does 0 points of damage to warchief vatgit and i was like ARG
kealjr was deafeated by the warchief so i swore eternal vengence.so now lvl 20 i kill him every time i see him hahahahaha!
