I can't think of a more annyoing Gob then this thing besides maybe Goblin Smithies. These things have the tendancy to show up when you are in the Jungles of Kazham and they always result in disaster. I have found that if you camp in a tunnel they won't go down there. (Unless someone agroes one and brings it you.)

got same drop today while protecting parties in Yhoater...Its EX, just dunno what quest it would be used for

all goblins detect by sight and scent. they wont aggro you just by scent. but if they sggro you by sight, they will follow you by scent.

Drop "Sack of Galka Fangs"
They can summon more than just a Goblins beetle. I have never seen them summon anything, but have seen them with some Bats, Flies, and Beetles. You can kill the pet without the goblin noticing if you are a high enough lvl that the gob wont aggro you.
if you kill their pet without them noticing and watch them for a couple of minutes they will summon a new pet before your eyes. same goes for giant rangers in qufim with giga's leech, as well as with yagudo oracles, etc...

I ran a chocobo to the Yhoator gate crystal and walked back with only sneak and invisible. I ran by a few of these without any knowledge that they detected by scent at all. I did not catch agro, nor did I have Deodorize casted on myself.

It's not listed, but his job is beastmaster. It can summon a goblin's beetle.
