i got 420 exp off a chain 4 one time. was pre exp changes and without a ring. i have the screenshot to prove it.

Is that really all it drops? I saw it today in Qufim, but was exp partying so couldn't kill it.

This stupid thing came up and attacked my party while we were killing a giant, and we died :(.
We didnt fish it up either...

After you fish something up and it kills you or you zone, it goes back to where it was fished up and begins to act like a normal mob. For isntance, my party in Valkurm once found a Cutter sitting at the beach. A guy fished it up, died, and it aggroed us and murdered us horribly.

you do know you have to fish the thing up they dun just spawn.also if someone else attacks it you will not get full exp. And the max possible exp is 200 without chaining. all I can say is "uber liar"

Posted: Jan 10 2004 at 3:09 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) nobody should fight this thing, it aggroes, and it does link, with other pugs, if u are in a party with lvl. 25s trust me u will die fighting it, i saw a lvl. 25 war get hit for 60 dmg, even with chainmail, and defender, he onnly lowered it to 3/4 of its hp, another party tried it, lowered it to half of its hp, then one lv.. 30 war tried to solo it, lowered it to 1/ of its hp, then my party of lvl. 25s took it on, we killed it, we got like 300 xp off it, and we all got a shall shell, then the worst happened , while we were healing, another one spawned right next to us, it killed most of our party, i escaped, we tried to fight it off, we actually used all our 2 hr abils, it was almost dead, our blm lowered it alot, so did our ranger, i was the ranger.

the most exp you can ever get off a mob is around 325-350 exp and thats only past i think lvl 60
