My group has fought him and won several times. We've also lost a few times. It seems to mostly depend on what other agro we get in the area. If we can avoid other agro, then a 6-man party CAN beat this.

I was making a promy run on titan. He poped in front of us right after we went in the portal. It took a while to kill and we almost lost out ranger. But we pulled through. We had one party it had 2 smns(Zalina and one we picked up sorry I forgot your name), 2 war(xiant and tyro), a whm(me), and rng(Bryen, I think I spelled it right.) The only drop was a Remnant of a Cerebrator. We all passed and gave it to the ranger.

We were walking when one of my party who was on auto-running mode agro^^ so we start fight

ok so i was walkin thru promy w/ my pt and this jack@$$ jumps out of nowhere and attacks us. (he scared the $#!+ outta me) so me and the other smn, as well as the bst sent our pets after him and ran like hell, figurin hes own us all... he did anyway. i had no idea where to go, so he came right over and pwned me after finishing off both avatars and bst's pet another failed promy... {/sigh}

When we zoned into the 3rd floor he was really close to our starting position. I pulled him and we beat him as we would any IT+. BST/WAR was very helpful with Tiger familiar.

We as an party of 7 (I helped the pt of 6 get up there since im pro at these promys) anyways we kill it with ease with party of 7 dropped 2 teal memospheres and the cerebrator empty and 72 xp^^

Respawn time is under two hours.
Can spawn on either the east or west third floor.

Take the Remnant to a ??? on one of the floors of Promy-Vahzl. (Touching the ??? will give you "Remnants of a cerebrator are scattered here.") Trading the Remnant will pop a powerful BLM-type Wanderer NM. Once it's dead, it'll drop one of the new recollections Harith mentions. Depending on the recollection, you can get from him the Dia Wand, Stone Gorget, or Hamayumi.

Had to fight off a Weeper when the NM strolled to close and aggroed. Party was at half health and ended in the red with tank dead. Raised tank, went on our way.
Dropped Cerberater remenant, gave 120 exp.

This may be just an idea but what about getting the remnants of a cerebrator, coveter, and satiator and trading them to the flux? Might be worth a try if anyone is willing to.

My PT killed it on promivion Holla. we were 6, fully healed. We meet him on the 3rd lvl. He droped the teal memosphere and a remnant of a cerebrator.
I still dont know what to do with the Remnant.

Posting on Radke's behalf...
He found this NM on the 3rd floor of Promyvion Holla, it's the same type of creature as the bcnm of Holla. They didn't play it though, they only had 6 people, and it was surrounded by aggro.
P.S. It was sighted around E-6, Happy Hunting! ;)

yeah holla sux, we ran into this nm in a pt of 6, and put a big dent in it until surounding mobs got into the fray. I would say it takes more than 6 to beat it, but if you are in Promy holla and want to treat it like its the end boss i think you would do just fine.

You're wrong, it can be done with a party of 6. My group has done it. The trick is avoiding other agro while you do it. As far as I know, it doesn't link... but if you agro something else while you fight, you're in trouble.
My group has killed this NM several times (we do ENM runs through multiple Promyvion areas every week) and we've always done so without resorting to 2hr abilities. So it is possible. ^_^

I have to say that my party actually made the mistake of letting him get to close and BAM he started wiping us out like we were nothing. If we had an alliance i believe we could have taken him with no problem, but we didn't. Also the idiot that aggroed him decided to keep running and created a train of horror for the rest of us. I was the WHM, luckily i had a reraiser, i quickly drunk it just before i died. Oh well time to try again. Is it me or is Holla the hardest of the three to acquire?
