Vana'diel Bestiary: Wayward Worm  

This is most likely NOT unkillable, and people sometimes know what these drop from hacking the .dat files or whatever to find out. Anyways, I'm pretty sure this would work.

You get an alliance, EVERYONE (except maybe rdms and brds..) will have /rng, including the blackmages. They will ALL have this worm on widescan, tracking it. Now you have the option of /ma Stun <scan>.

(will stun the mob you have on widescan even if its not targetted by you)

Now supposidely this thing can't run when its stunned. you just gotta have either a lot of blackmages to cycle in an out, or darkknights whatever..

The only downside is, is that before rangers were nerfed my friend did slugshot with full tp and then EES following that on this guy before he could run. He did like a good 1-2k damage (was only lvl 60 at the time) and this amount of damage didn't take the worm down a percent, least not from what he could see.

I don't think you guys realized why he's unkillable. He create's where you find the cards. unless they change it to where you can kill him for like one day after end of the card quest you will not kill him, ever(of course they have to bring back the card quest first)

is this thing stronger Vrtra?

i wanna see a full alliance of rangers pop it and all use EES i think they could kill it with that what you guys think?

A while back, I was farming with my SMN in Batallia, and saw this guy pop, Carby was already out so I hit my Searing Light macro. Probably the weakest of my 2HR Blood Pacts, but it did manage 506 damage, maybe scratched it... one-shotted an innocent Ba that was flying by though... >.>

Oh yah, I remember encountering a few of these, but I broke out laughing when this happened.

"The Wayward Worm starts casting Bindga."
"The Wayward Worm is intimidated by Altairs presence."

From there, it stopped casting and just disappeared back into the ground. I'm a BST, by the way, with traits that make certain mobs have a Paralyze effect towards me, in the form of intimidation.

hell you could try 12 smns with finrir's 2hr but to what good the worm does not stick around long enough to be killed well either way doesnt matter the quest is over and the worm is gone

My brother Vaxtra was able to land EES on it with his lvl 65 RNG doing 454 dmg to it and it ddin't even get a scratch on it. It was pretty odd lol all u have to do is make a macro of EES and spam it when it pops.

LOL PLD friend got a shield bash off on it and took off running lol it spawned again right behind him and bound him anyways lol was hilarious.

Was told a lvl 72 PLD did noticible damage to it....also a diffrent case, that two people teamed got hits on one together. So what happens when you get as many alliances as you could, all full, with full level characters all doing their strongest hits on it all at the same time?

I'm pretty sure theres no way you can hurt him lol, seeing as I managed to get off a Weapon Bash, and then use a WS for 200 damage.. well, I could tell that it hurt him, but it wasn't that noticable.. since it was meant not to be killed, though, I wanna kill it!! Just curious if any SMNs have ever use Fenrir's 2-hr on it maybe?

i manage to do water II. didnt ever made a dent in his HP

I managed to get a Stun and Sleep 2 off on him in W.Ronafure, both of which were resisted. Don't know anyone that has killed him.

So... drops? Does this mean they could be killed?
