I tried trading an Item to it and it told me i was gonna get fleas. Thats all it did.
I wish SE wouldve told people how to get the buffs and gifts before they ended. I mustve passed these birds like 100 times and asked people who told me they're just decoration attractions. Couldve helped me fishing in Windy >.<
I traded crap (any random junk) to this every time I saw one.

I would get various buffs like
Shock Spikes, protect, shell, etc. they didnt usually last very long tho

It has also been seen in W. Ron
It also appears in South and North Gustaberg, probably other areas too. Also, in exchange for a random item, it gave me an item, called something like "New Year's Gift." It was a consumable, and when used, it gave me a buff that increased fishing skill.

i got the same thing too. I had traded a 'Quadav Fetich Head' to it in Pashow Marshlands and got the 'New Years Gift'. I was hoping it was exp, kinda like eco-warrior, but it was fishing imagery :\ some gift lol.
