i was PLing a freind as a 26rdm galka ...thats right galka PL....and ran across him beat him to death with a platoon sword and maybe lost 100 HP i assume its 15 or so depending on ur job.....a whm i wud suggest 18+ the delay is nice ....good for throwing skill ups.
i really like SE is making some rare/ex NM drops however it may solve gillsellers ....it doesnt decrease the ppl camping it ....as a matter a fact i seen more ppl cmping the items now >< gonna be that way for a month or 2.

Got 40 experience points as level 18 ninja... i'd assume he is approximately level 13-14.
Got me to half HP; his accuracy is bloody awful so utsusemi works wonders... if you're 20 or above, he probably wont hit you at all... Hits pretty hard when he does though.

Soloed this today at about 17:30 with 31 drg/war and didn't get hit once. Found him in J-9 near the bulge where the path ends. I got the drop as well it's gotta be 100%.
I went to camp this guy yesterday. I had seen him once before when I knew nothing about him. And pinning this guys spawn points down could be a problem because he was in one of the narrow passages that lead to the main area of Konschatt. He definitely spawned there too because me and another low level guy watched him for about 5 minutes before we got a high level PLD to take up the job of killing it. At first I thought that maybe someone had zoned from it and that it was on it's way back to it's spawn area. But it just stayed in that passageway so he must have appeared there.
Anyway, I saw him twice yesterday when I camped. First time I lost claim because I was too busy watching someone figh Steelfleece. lol my own fault! Second time I got claim and got the drop. Yes I think it is 100% drop rate for the Rogetsurin because everyone who has killed it has got the item.
A couple of tips though.... I camped him on chocobo the second time. On my server the Dem choccos are much cheaper than the others so it's worth running about at night on a bird and spamming widescan. Secondly, although he does appear only on New Moons and at "night" both spawns yesterday were between 17:00 and 18:00 hours. More like tea-time than night time. ;)
And I believe that once he's claimed on a New Moon day he won't respawn till next New Moon Vanad'iel day. Though I cannot be totally sure on that point.
All in all not a bad days NM hunting. In that one session I got this guy, Rampaging Ram and also Stray Mary. :)

can anyone please confirm if this guy stays out later than any of the undead? my guess is he despawns or wont pop after 4:00 like the others.
EDIT: poped at 17:35 in F-9 for me, another note, i cant be sure but i think he was in different armour to the one pictured.

alot of people are getting 1/1 rates, is it 100% drop?

just killed this thing at lvl 57 i was farmin rams and this thing was easy *** hell.
im guesing its a lvl 30

Found this NM just south of the crag, though one odd thing happened, I checked widescan and found this nm, not more than a minute after Rampaging Ram seemed to pop, so I dont know if there's any correlation, just letting you all know what happened.

I didn't even know about this guy.. I was PL'ing in Valkurm Dunes with 34whm and after i was done, decided to hunt for stray mary.. I zone to Konschtat Highlands and go afk a min.. Get back, couple players running from gob, i kill it and go on. So as im' running, i'm having the camera go in circles. ( i was bored ><) and i see this guy. I thought it was a person and check it for Impossible to gauge. I'm like O.O and just attacked it. /shouted about it, but no answer, killed it with easy and it dropped Rogetsurin. Can't sell it tho.. so i'll just keep it til i decide to lvl thf.

A few days ago i teleported a friend to the Crag and decided to see if Stary Mary was around didnt even know about this NM yet. As im resting after casting Holy a few times i see this NM run up to me and just stop so i got up and killed him lol must have been fate.
Just tried to solo it as a 18RNG
Hit me for 30-40 each hit... and killed me of course.

Was camping out Rampaging for about six hours, killing tremors all day and stocking up on ram horns, go back to grab another choco to patrol again and check widescan to see this thing nearby. I take a detour to see what it is and its a dark elf! I hop of choco, bought six hits he's dead from my 59 PLD, but about three seconds after he dies, someone shouts their killing Rampaging! I run over and sure enough, Rampaging is beginning to fade. Six hours wasted! ;; I left then and came back next day and finally killed it with the help of a friendly RNG in my LS. Got horn to complete Purple Belt and move onto Brown. At least I got the Rogetsurin for my THF im lvling.

I have been camping now for 3 days. Camped again last night for 4 hours, Killed Stray mary 2 times, Rampaging ram and not once did these 2 little ******* spawn. I figure they only spawn at night since they are undead. I was killing all the undead in case they were placeholders.....any Ghosts, Zombie Wolf's, or Skeletons on widescan were 1 shotted and still they didn't spawn. This has to be the most annoying NM I have ever camped for a few days that refuses to spawn.

I've spent two days on and off looking for this thing, and Haty, if they spawn so much and stuff, why havent i found it where ppl have sid it was ; ;

Don't give up, after 3 days the ******* popped and I got drop.
Heh I ran past him thinking he was a npc or player character then I went 'hey' and turned around to see three people were beating on him, they invited me to their team afterwards because they all had a Rogetsurin already. I never saw this NM before except late night.

ummm spent 3 min looking for him found him above the windmills were mary pops .... easy fight got drop
Spent an entire chunk of New Moon nights searching for Bendigeit for Haty without success... then as I was heading back, just after mignight, I spotted Bendigeit at (G-8), got claim, got drop.
Along with Gassan this will make things a bit more interesting.

anyway me and my friend tried to find this guy and that dog and we started at 4:00 and gave up at 9:00 waited till nightfall and nada nither 1 poped even when it was a thunder storm went up and down the highlands and could not find them if any 1 knows when or how to get them to pop it would help.

This NM was an easy kill with my 21RDM/9BLM. I was on my way from Crag of Dem to Valkurm and saw this. Didnt know what it was so i attacked it anyway. Took him down in about two and a half minutes. Dropped Rogetsurin too, Would anyone want to buy it from me in a trade on Diabolos and how much could it be worth?

Rogetsurin, is a Rare\EX.. cannot be bought, sold, traded or otherwise passed on to other charactors

I just headed to Konschtat to try for the Rogetsurin, and was spamming widescan while en-route to E-9. I found a weird name on the list, "Haty", so I headed towards that. Haty turned out to be an undead dog NM. When I killed him, the Rogetsurin dropped! Maybe this is like that SAM katana in South Gustaberg... two different NMs (that possibly cycle) drop it?
No idea where he spawned, but I saw Haty walking around in F-8, close to the border to G-8.

I saw this guy while killing things with my lvl 15 mnk while waiting for a pt. I decided "Heck, why not fight him, see how strong he is?" He whooped me, but not before I got him down to about 70% hp. I tried to get my lvl 32 war back to his location in time, but I think he despawned because widescan wasn't picking him up and I had a buddy who happened to be in the area tail him until I got there. According to my buddy, he went out of sight over a hill and couldn't be found again. I think this would have been a pretty easy fight for my war.
