Vana'diel Bestiary: Blackbeard  

Well i finally got both these clubs ^.^
took a long time 127 hrs combined totall.
1/11 on Blackbeared 1/3 on Silverhook..
i soloed as a 75whm/37nin i died the first time :/.. its not really easy. I would recomend haveing Black Halo and bringing a icarus wing Black Halo> icarus wing> Hexa Strike > and burst with Holy. its not needed but it takes about 30% of his HP and helps alot. And set your cure and para macros to <me > that also helps for fast cureing. And i used Barthundra. his thundaga II was really the only thing that hurt, so if u see it be ready to utsunimi right away and stoneskin.

Slow was the only spell i could stick and my enfeeb is caped and merited 2 times. So dont bother with paralyze, silence, flash(it would stick for about 1 sec)there just a waste of MP.

I found it easier to just camp 1 at a time. so for Blackbeard if pirates are not going to come tele mea and run or choco back. your odds are better this way.

as for pop times it seemed completely random or just a wide window. ive killed him and seen him pop 2 hrs later and one day i camped him for 16 hrs striaght and finally gave up. ; ;

and i did activate Sand Charm quest while doing Blackbeard just to see and pirates didnt pop for a long time, so i guess thats not true
