I was running to Norg on my 75brd/whm to do the ninja scroll quests and I happen to see in my log "Meww the Turtlerider starts casting stoneskin" while running past. I was like "Hey why not?" I tried to take out the sahagins around him to avoid links but he ran over to me. To avoid more links I ran under the waterfall entrance to SSG. I had Meww and 3 sahagins on me now. I did horde lullaby and proceeded to take out the links one by one. After that I just put up Paeon V and Minuet IV, along with elegy and requiem VI to counteract the regen. This took a very long time. I was hitting him for about 35 dmg a hit with my Joytoy. Finally I got him down to around 50% and he used benediction for around 2k+ hp. In the end I finally took him down. 1/1 on the oliphant and a fun experience since a brd doesn't get to solo many NMs. Took about 15-20 mins in total.

I've killed Meww on multiple occasions, here are my experiences. First, his spawn is 21 hours, from what I noticed he spawns EXACTLY on the 21 hour mark. He spawns with two Sahagin following him, at all times unless killed, Sahagin are sound meaning they're highly likely to link. He has around 4k HP, and uses benediction RANDOMLY, or so i've noticed. He does spam Stoneskin and Dia when able, and he's got a decent magic resistance. Normal attack speed, annoying defense, auto-regen, and his TP moves, very irritating yet exciting kill, regardless if the Oliphant isn't more than 80k. XD ~My two cents.

Just killed him as 63rng. was a good long fight. if i didn't have those bolts, i would have died pretty much. there was one link, but he turned out helping me more than the NM. his 2hr sucked badly, but thanks to me ripping 629 rampages on him, it didn't matter much.

Great way to start the morning i'd say...now if he only would have dropped the dam thing...

Made quick work of this NM as 75 MNK/WAR.

Friend found it while leveling BST and it killed him, so I rode out to kill it. Waited for it to get away from the others so I wouldn't link, then buffed (Berserk, Focus, Dodge, Counterstance) and pulled with Chi Blast.

Used Hundred Fists and its HP started dropping quickly :) then it did Benediction for 2265 HP. It was surprisingly durable, and lasted until the end of Hundred Fists before dying and rewarding me with 32 gil. >.>

Offensively, it's weak. Hit me once for 70 with Berserk/Counterstance on, though Hydro Shot (he did 2) does hurt for about 250s. Mostly, he just missed (with -9 evasion too).

Was on the boat to Al Zahbi when an LS member said they found him while heading to Norg to help another member with Ninja scroll quest.

I warp over and tele to yhoat and run there but she was already dying. I finall ymade it to the hole and dropped down and voked Meww but it continued to chase my firend and killed her. It turned towards me and started attacking, I hit it for 200+ a hit as a 74Drk/War and he hardly ever hit me. I popped a Guillotine on him, dropped him to 40% he Benedictions but a min later he goes down from another Guillotina + Souleater. Easy fight considering his HP and 2hr.

Lucky enough to have an ls member tell us that he was up today on Garuda server. Managed to switch jobs and outpost warp in time to claim him alone. Went in as 64Drg/Rdm and was suprised at the benediction.Luckily i was able to dispel the protect he had and let my Healing Breaths keep me up and running. All in all , it was about 7-8min. fight and quite easy at my lv.Most physical attacks miss.He does howver have Banish2 Dia2 and a couple other nasty moves if you are alone.can't say much for drop rate as today was first time i killed it.I did however get the Oliphant.Tod approx. 1:15pm est

yeh, 75 SMN, it took me 30 Mins. He's what is considered to be a "Lesser HNM" (Like Lumberjack, Waraxe Beak, etc)

First, he has sick HP, benediction (2532 on my fight) and the links failed to depop when I fought him.

His regen is moderate. By that, I mean unless you're dealing some respectable Damage, you'll get no where. Links make this guy more annoying and his Stoneskin is like he has a battleship wrapped around him.

he was generous to reward my efforts with a gracious 79 gil. i promptly gave the screen the finger and finished his buddies off.

Was heading to Norg for some cheap Ninja tools I walked in behind the waterfall and there's a Taru Whm fighting this thing. I watched for a bit and killed a link for him. He disenged and told me I could have him if I wanted. I figure wth he can't be that bad, after all I'm a 57drk.

So after about 5 minutes I've got him down to half health, and the little ******* used Benediction for 2280. Very bitter. At this point the Taru Whm is watching me and tosses a few cures my way. I invite and he's about the only reason I survived. I kept Bio II on the NM at all times since he kept trying to use stoneskin and blink, so I didn't have much of a problem with regen. Long fight, pretty fun.

After it was all said and done we got drop, I offered to let Taru Whm lot but he passed on it and I made 50k for stopping to help out someone in trouble. Good deal all around.

Fought him the other night as 71drk/thf. In the middle of the little area too, no links. Got drop, made a nice 200k as the price is on Fairy.

The only difficult part I found about this fight was when he use Benediction, that ****** me off.

Took maybe 5, 10 minutes

It's safe to say a lvl 75 whm/blm CANNOTsolo Meww.
I went fishing for Eshimo newt in the area where he spawned and I just saw it out of the corner of my screen as it was casting buffs. (F-11)
I had no idea what it was or what it dropped at that point but I tried it anyway.
I was shocked that I could run right past him without any aggro.
As stated in previous posts, he has a huge regen rate and even though I was able to drain, aspir, frost, bio II, poison and hexastrike him a few times, the best I could do was get him down to 70% and then I got down to around 240mp. I had no refresh so I kind of knew things weren't going well so I legged it to SSG zone.
I kept him silenced, slept links and used my stoneskin but didnt amount to much.
I could prolly go back and and get him as my rdm but I'm too lazy lol.

Saw it spawn south of the northern pond in F-11 with the waterfall.. right in a small group of trees, similar to the firepits I've seen in other areas.

My friend (55mnk/thf) and I (60rdm/blm) were farming gems for Venerer ring when he noticed this guy pop. We had no idea what he dropped nor what level he was, but thought, "What the heck." We knocked him down to about 1/3 life pretty quick, then he used Benediction to my total surprise. At that point I figured I'd actually better "try" or we could be in trouble. Ended up being a pretty easy fight regardless.. most likely thanks to silence. Didn't get a drop, and too bad.. I checked prices (Shiva server) afterwards, to find it's worth >1mil.

I check for this guy everytime I run through on my way to Norg.. I'd love to attempt this solo (Tarutaru power!)

Defeated this as a Taru RDM/BLM level 60. . .

This guy's regen is insane >.<

I was doing roughly 40+18 with enthunder. Key to beating him for me was just plain DOT. Weeee gave me some advice on doing shock, choke, burn, bio II, and poison II.

I just kept up SS, and silenced every chance I could get. I would say, for 1 1/2 hour I spent ; ; I wish I had gotten the drop. . . Never again will I bother fighting him. His Regen is just insane, and my melee damage is laughable. Without the DOT damage, we were just at a stale mate.

A high DD like Monk + a RDM could easily beat him 60+.

I Carby pulled him far from the other Sahagin in the area and began to kite him. I have a free Carby so at first I tossed a few meteorites. I was drinking juice and keeping my mp up very nicely with a free Carby. I got him to two hour, but regular melee just matched his regen. I ended up checking through my linkshells and getting a 65 RDM to come out and help me beat him. Once the RDM was there, I was able to Eclipse Bite him to death.

His auto-regen is insane. Carbuncle was hitting between 30-40 and criticals were 50-60. We were mostly at a stalemate. A few criticals and a poison nails would bring the fight to my favor, but a Blink or Stoneskin and I would lose ground again.

We won and got the instrument which the RDM and I agreed to split 50-50. Thanks again, Branko!

was going to norg saw him and voked. he hits weak but has a ton of hp. Vorpal blade for 655 he bene'd for 2211. On the average he hit me for 15-30 crit for 60-80 I hit him anywhere from 70-90. Took 15 minutes but I beat him with around 750hp and 5mp. Never was really in danger of having to 2hr. No drop though

While walking to Norg, I stumbled across the body of a 52 SAM. I raised him, and immediately saw the NM. Figured he couldn't be too much harder than the other Sahagins in the area, so I voked him, despite having 44mp. With capped evasion, he misses a lot, but he was hitting me for about 30.

Finally had him beat down to about 25%, and I was in the orange myself, but I figured I had won. He used Benediction, recovered 2500hp and was back at full health. I sent a /tell to the SAM, explaining that I had to zone.

To conclude- ended up forming a duo with the 52 SAM, and beat him rather easily. I was out of mp by the end of the fight, but both of us had plenty of hp left. Ended up getting 17exp and a tad bit of gil, but no drop.

Anyhow, I strongly suspect I could have solo'd him if I had full mp going into the fight. Wouldn't have been easy, and it probably would have taken ten minutes, but I could have done it. He misses too much to really be dangerous- the worst part is Benediction coupled with a massive amount of hp. Thanks to Docholiday on Sylph for the help, just the same!

A word of advice, if you see him up and just walking around, be prepared for a really long fight. Odds are he has protect/shell up which GREATLY enhance his defense, which make his regen even that much more painful. My drain was doing about 10~ and physical attacks were anywhere from 8-25 with my daggers...and im a 73THF ; ;

After about half an hour of pecking him down (god **** you benediction) his buffs wore and I took him down easy, drain was up to like 30 and my daggers were doing 20-50.
Part-time player still having full-time fun.

I was leaving Norg on my way to do some quests in Yhoater/Temple of Ugg., was a 75mnk/37whm. Saw him, hopped my chocobo and claimed him. He was surrounded by 2 monk type Sahagin, 1 bard Sahagin, and 1 whm Sahagin. As previously stated, he's a whm NM sahagin.

Now I know what those poor monsters feel like, a party of adventurers attacking them.

Despite the fact I was in no real danger, it took a long time to kill (with /whm I had autoregen, and with a non-AF Body chakra for about 140, I finished with about only 200hp lost, so I'd say between the 5 of them I lost maybe 450ish HP in all). The bard kept singing Knight's Minne and Army Paeon, and the whm Sahagin and NM kept curing Meww, coupled with his innate Auto-regen, he was regaining HP at a pretty high rate.

He missed about 90% of his hits (love Dodge ^^), and the majority of his attacks that hit me ended up activating the Ice/Blaze/Shock spikes on my Rasetsu armor. He was stunned and paralyzed a fair amount. The attacks only did about 20hp of damage, although I did cast Pro2 on myself. The other Sahagin's attacks were around 1-10dmg, and did nothing really but give me more TP. The only WS I used was Spinning Attack, since I figured that the NM was regaining about 60hp a tick, plus 190hp+ Cure3's at regular inteverals, I decided it would be much more useful to elimate the linking bard and whm, as well as do damage to the NM (Asuran Fists would do about 1k to one target, Spinning Attack did about 300hp to all targets in the AoE, do the math).

I checked the parser after the fight, it says he had about 8,000 hp, but since with Benediction (Which he did at about 25%), Auto-Regen, Paeon, and the many cures, I'd say he had less than half that, probably about 4,000.

And he did drop the Oliphant for me, lucky for me I have a 40brd.

This guy popped and gobbled my 38DRG/WHM up, (I was douing exp off sahagins with my boyfriend, WAS 200 tnl until this guy came along -_-;;) my boyfriend, 41NIN/RDM at the time managed to make it to the zone on like 19 health. He ran to Norg, came back as 65BLM/WHM and began fighting the NM. 10 minutes later, I hp'd and came back as 65WHM/BLM (I was bored and he was having all the fun :P) and we began fighting. When I got there, my boyfriend hadnt scratched him >< His regen is way mean ;_; together we had no problems staying alive, this guy couldn't get through my stoneskin, but we couldnt kill him either. He was resisting BLM spells terrible, and all I could do was club him to death -.-. After like 30 minutes of this stalemate, we called on our ls friend <69BST/WHM> to come help. He got lost in the jungle ^^; so when he did get there, we were still fighting (taking turns at resting mp, lol) when the BST did get there he died in like 5 minutes. **** Benediction, lol. Couriercarrie + Rampage kicked his *** ^^ All we got was 20gil, lol. hardest 20gil I've ever worked for >.>;;;

It got alot of Regen. Probably around 25hp/tick.
And around 5000hp. Used Benediction at 45% hp, and regen 2300HP or so. Uses other Whm spells like Banish 2, Stoneskin, Aquaveil etc. Didnt see him use Cure though.

“When he Fell”

by Marinka @ Fairy Server // Original Short Story

When he fell, there were sounds all around of battle raging on: cries of fury, the clattering of metal against bone, crackling sparkles of electric energy issuing from the fingertips of the dark one, and taunting, suggestive screams from the most heavily armored of his group still in the fight.

All was dark then. He knew he was not dead. There was something eerie about his state. He had felt it before, but never quite grew accustomed to it. Doubted he ever would should it happen again.

The worst part about this strange paralysis, this unnatural failure of his senses, was that he knew that it was his fault. He knew, and remembered every last detail despite the searing blow to the head he had received only moments earlier.

It was just after daybreak when they began their search for the creature of great legend. Taking on the persona of the heroes of legend whose stories he remembered growing up within the protective natural rock walls of San d’Oria, he felt somehow connected to those great warriors.

Perhaps it was his desire to always live up to the stories of old that guided him along the path his life had taken. Perhaps it was fate that led him into the Rusty Anchor not two days earlier. His white breastplate, new, unscathed by battle, a gift from a strange man who spoke of his belief in the glory which lay ahead for him, provided a strong contrast to the dimly lit, and mainly dark innards of the pub.

As he walked in, he noticed immediately a struggle ensuing between two human patrons. Likely he was mistaken for a member of the San d’Orian guard. Immediately, he was beseeched by the barkeeper to intervene. Keep the peace. It was more than a belief; it was a code of conduct for him. It only took moments for him to quell the two drunken bards. Later he learned they were fighting over who was the better flute player, and insults became pushes, and then punches, and then weapons were drawn.

Yes, fate indeed. For it was there that the dark one approached him. Face shrouded in a draping cloak, only the lower portion of his pale face visible. He spoke with determination, and without hesitation or the slightest doubt in the truth of his words.

“I have need of someone with your talents,” he said without introducing himself.

“Many people would say the same thing to me. But not all presume to have my blessing to seek my services.” His reply to the dark one was filled with the confidence any man would feel at having so easily become the hero for the moment. Free drinks were being brought over to him even as he spoke. Compliments of the barkeep for services rendered.

“Many apologies for my presumptiveness,” the dark one replied, “if you will permit me to explain my motives, I believe you will find yourself interested.” He seemed an owl as he turned his headfirst left, then right as if afraid of who may be overhearing his words.

Some combination of the euphoria of his small victory, mixed with the ale, persuaded him to continue listening to this strange man. “I have never seen your face before, nor do I sell my services to anyone. I am following the path of the knights of old, and there lies my fate. But, I am here now, and have no plans for the moment. It will not cause me any trouble to listen to your plea.” He took a long pull off of his metal flask. “What say you?”

The way this man spoke, this dark shrouded figure, told him he was not of San d’Oria. Perhaps Bastok. Perhaps some outland area.

“I have information,” once more he glanced from side to side, “regarding a certain creature which resides far from here. It is this creature I seek. Legend speaks of a mystical instrument which in the hands of the right person can bring the skies crashing down around all enemies, and bless those allies around you with the speed and skill of the gods.”

“What use have I for a harp or a lyre? Maybe you should ask for the services of those two fine gentlemen.” He pointed at the drunken bards who earlier were ready to kill one another, but who now were slurring their undying friendship and eternal brotherhood loud enough to drown out the noise of the airship arriving just then.

“I do not sell my services, nor do I risk life and limb for anything save the glory of San d’Oria. This is my code. You need to find another.”

It was at that point, that the dark one removed reached up and pulled his cloak back from his face.

Dropping to one knee, tossing aside his flask, and bowing his head in reverence, he prayed for forgiveness to the gods of his fathers for acting so irreverently towards one of the great heroes of Vanadiel. For it was this dark one, this “man” who was nothing of the sort in either respect.

“I understand why you shroud yourself so,” he said in a whisper to the dark one. “I am at your service.” From the faraway land of Windurst, he was in the presence of a great Mithra warrior. Even in San d’Oria he knew of her battles and glory for her realm.

She returned her cloak to its former place, once more masking her true identity.

“So you will assist me in this journey, or do I need still to seek another? And please rise before others begin to ask questions.”

He stood. Reached for the stool nearby, and took a seat next to the dark one, who he knew to be Mindaah Resalloy, a hunter of great renown whose skill with a bow was unmatched in all the world. “You look so strange in that attire,” he said, “why must you come to this great city in shame? Why do you hide your face so? If only the Prince knew you were here, I am certain there would be a festival held in your honor, with—“

And she cut him off with an outstretched finger pressed against his lips. “If what I wanted was a party, I could manage that just fine at home. And in a much quieter setting. I am no longer wielding my bow, nor my dagger. I have found a pathway to learn the dark arts. And it is this knowledge which has led me to grow in strength in ways I never knew could be possible for me. I was told that I could never find the will inside of myself…the discipline, to learn those things reserved only for my Tarutaru countrymen.”

They spoke of Mindaah’s adventures for several hours. He was unable to blink many times, from the sheer excitement he felt while hearing the adventures and stories she had to tell him about places unimaginable.

Finally he agreed to the long journey together, and told her of others he knew close by who could be counted on to join a party such as hers. Her reputation alone ensured it.

The façade of his recent memories was shattered with the sound of another of his compatriots falling beside him. This time it was another Mithra, like Mindaah. During their voyage to this cave near Sea Serpent Grotto, behind a crystalline waterfall, she had learned much from Mindaah about technique with her bow. There was no other incentive, no other form of payment requested by her. Only to have the chance to fight alongside Mindaah, a hero from her own homeland, was all the reason she needed to join the quest.

But it appeared as though what was needed was Mindaah’s bow more than her skill in the dark arts. Several good, expertly placed shots could have stemmed the tide of the battle which appeared more and more as though all would be lost. Why would she have exchanged her skills with the bow, refusing to even touch a weapon of its type, in exchange for becoming an apprentice of a skill more suited for those of another race?

The galkan warrior, Umog was the next to fall. Followed by Sharondel, the healer.

At the moment Sharondel fell, he had his answer to his question.

Mindaah became bathed in a swirl of purple and black energy. She coalesced as a god bathed in the explosion of some distant star. One after another, she spent her seemingly limitless energy from her hands; lightning and shards of ice sprang forth again and again, pounding upon the sahagin.

There was only Xertia the elvan warrior from his homeland remaining, and she was nearly dead. Her hair matted and twisted with the sweat and the blood of the long fought battle. Mew, as we later learned was this creatures given name, focused its attentions now on Mindaah. And with only three blows, had nearly killed the famous Mithra from Windurst.

But with a last valiant scream, Xertia pushed back her weapons, and said something indecipherable to the now limping monster. It stopped what would surely have been its final, fatal assault upon Mindaah. Turning, it commanded its steed to charge upon the elvan warrior.

Finally given a second of opportunity, the dark one seemed to pray for an instant, flailing her arms in what seemed a well practiced, deliberate ceremony. Just then, fire formed in the sky above our heads, but only the monster felt its heat. As it rose to strike, it slipped from its turtle, and landed face first next to him. The San d’Orian knight, the defender of the group, felt the cold corpse next to him.

Still unable to move, or to protest, he remained still as from the moment he had fallen.

Out from underneath the turtle shell came a musical instrument of finest quality. None like he had ever seen before. It rolled down a crevasse and underneath his chest, his prize won, but at what cost.

Hours, perhaps days passed. He was almost unable to think or recall memories in that state. A familiar echoing of light filled his inner self with hope. He found himself recovering his senses, and some great-unseen force swept him off the ground and back onto his feet. Wounds from the battle miraculously healed themselves, and he knew soon that his strength would return.

It was night, and the mist of the waterfall was flickering against his now naked back. His new breastplate lay on the ground by his feet. He picked it up, and tried to place it back onto his torso, but found that somehow it did not fit any longer. Something had changed inside of himself. He knew if he forced the armor apart, he could manage to fit it around his chest and arms, but his sense of honor told him that he was no longer worthy to wear such a glorious badge of honor.

i just solo'd him earlier as 75war/37nin Mithra, i believe he has way more than 4k hp.. i think if i counted right, my damage dealt (After Benediction) came out to around 11-12k even after subtracting the healing done on him. Correct me if i'm wrong about his HP (it's just based on what i've added and subtracted post Benediction), seems a ~600dmg rampage only did about ~7%dmg to his life. He has good def (was only averaging about 60dmg per hit, /cry).Also got the instrument my first kill, but was only worth 300k on Jeuno AH on Fairy.

Overall, you're in for a long fight if you're solo'ing him. DO NOT let the stray sahagin link onto the fight, even with little damage taken (despite all the missing)it all adds up. Enjoy.

The Facts

Let's narrow down the facts about this NM, shall we?

Level: 55ish.
Spawn Location: Unknown; near zone to {Sea Surpent Grotto}. Pops somewhere near placeholds which are Sahagins.

Spawn Rate: Every 21-24 hours.
Easy to Fight: No. It's a lengthy battle. It takes about 2 minutes to solo {Too Weak} Sahaganis in that area as my 62 WHM. Any lower or higher level mages or melee will have difficulty fighting this NM, especially considering it uses Benediction.

Prepare yourself for a lengthy wait and for a lengthy fight.

{Good luck!}

I found that NM last night, near Sea Serpent Grotto, while I was going to Norg. At first I thought it was the NM for the Mermaid Ring "quest", but I checked on somepage and realized I was wrong (Actually that other NM, "Seww the Squidlimbed", dwells inside Sea Serpent Grotto). I decided to give it a try, though : level 62 THF/BLM. (/BLM because I warped to Jeuno and didn't change my subjob afterwards)

I started fighting and it wasn't too hard, the NM was missing me most of the time, but my /BLM sub didn't really help me much. With the few MP I had, I used Ice Spikes, and tried to aspir + drain every minute but those spells didn't give good results at all. I also had a few Bloody Bolts left, so I tried to use them but they didn't work well either, they drained about 10hp each. So when my HP became low, I disengaged, fled and ran to Norg through Sea Serpent Grotto. I changed my subjob to Ninja and ran back to Yuhtunga Jungle, hoping the NM would be waiting for me ^^

The NM was still here when I came back (lvl 62 THF/NIN), so I used Sneak Attack, ran behind it and engaged. It was a long fight but really easy. The monster couldn't remove my shadows fast enough to touch me. After a while, he used Benediction for 2500HP. The fight lasted about 8-10 minutes, I couldn't steal anything (although I tried twice), I think I mugged 20 gils (not sure, don't remember too well). I got 23xp (low EP) and ~104 gils when I killed it, but no drop.

During the fight, the Turtlerider used : Benediction (as I said before), Stoneskin, Dia II, Banish II, and Silence (I think). He didn't cure himself except with Benediction. He also used an "Aqua ball" special attack (not sure about the name), which is the only thing that could hit me because it ignores shadows, and a special move that gives him a "Shell" effect.
I didn't notice any Auto-Regeneration effect, but maybe it was there anyway ^_^

Found him last night and tried to defeat him. As a 58WHM/SMN I was unable to dispell his buffs, nor was I able to do enough damage. He wasn't doing too much damage to me though (20-40dmg/hit) and was also missing me a lot. If I had to guess I'd say this guys is roughly level 45ish. After about 10minutes of getting nowhere I zoned into SSG and just went to Norg.

When I came back out a 75BRD was trying to take him. The BRD did a good job however I noticed that the NM has a pretty mean Auto-Regen which didn't help matters at all. I ended up watching and buffing the BRD for about 5-10 minutes then left since 25% was the most the BRD had been able to take the NM down.

If you can't defeat the mob, it would be a very nice one to skill up on (like Demonic Tilphia).

63 rdm/blm, I was killing sahagins for eastern gems (venerer's ring quest). I saw this guy, and laid into him. After about 1 min, I realize this guy has a LOT of Hp, and is a whm. Silence, DoT, nuke, and bash away. Had to convert after he bene'd. Kept stone skin and phalanx up, and wasn't in danger even with the 4~5 links that showed up through the fight. Took me about 10 minutes to kill it, got a water crystal.
Just remember to pull it away from links.

Was heading to Norg on Terrwyn, 51 whm at the time, completely naked and saw this NM by the waterfall to SSG (F-11). Rushed to Norg, changed to 72 Rdm/blm grabbed choco for speed and hoped it was still there! It was, buffed up slept it and not knowing what type of mob it was aspired it, seeing I got mp I silenced it then woke it up with a nuke. Fight was going great til I got it down to 1/3 life. Benediction for over 2k hp. Converted and called on a friend cuz I knew knowing my luck he'd be able to Bene again. After I got him to 1/2 life again, my friend shows up and throws out some pretty nukes, dead! Oliphant dropped with a couple little items frogs and shells.

Yeah this guy is definately 21-24hr spawns. SE put in new NM's for all the beastmen. Yag, Quad, Orc, Saghin, Antican, all at the entrances to their head quarters. These guys are usually around 50, have a ton of hp and spawn only 21-24hrs, so if you dodn't have ToD (Time of Death) forget about camping these guys unless you have an insane amount of time on your hands... at which point you should just go camp Padfoot or Algus^^.

I got it 2 days agoo on asura and killed him with 2 friends. With a team of rdm/nin 60, rdm/nin 59 and sam/war 57, it took us around 10 minutes to clear the add and kill it.

As samurai, i was hitting it for 70-80 with berserk and was hitting me for 30-50. It has around 4000 hp and used benediction (2700hp back). It has a good defense and spam Water Shield (defense up). It was a rather easy kill with this team, but it couldn't be soloed by the rdm/nin 59 who found it first.

It gave me 23 xp, so it should be around lvl 53-54. I think it can be soloed by a rdm 63, maybe below, but we didn't try to sleep it...

Unfortunatly, i know nothing about the spawn conditions, we just noticed it was up while passing by.
Hope it helps.
