i just found out stolas is duo able with 2 bsts.. i duod him with another 75 bst took about 30 mins.. using call beast once timer is ready.. charmed the surrounding wildlife to aid us in battle once call beast was ready then we used Courier carries.. stolas hit CC's for about 135 damage so it wasnt long be4 we had to swap pets.. stolas hits very hard he criticaled me for 324 damage. we didnt bother on killing the goblins roaming the area which made it also risky for us to run around and charm raptors and crabs.. but luckly none aggrod us...in the end we had no deaths and i finally got my writing of a trial for Empyreal Arrow... just gotta keep stoneskin and blink up and rest Mp every other CC jug.. it was a adrenaline rush and fun fight i gotta do it again soon for a friend rng once he gets done with trial bow so iam looking forward to do it all over again..

Tried this WSNM for my Ranger today and the PT was:

Paladin had to go cause our ls Ninja was AFK.
The fight went smooth, started with Heavy Shot> Sharkbite for light. After the MB we took 1/4 of it's life out. After that it went nuts. The whm had to cure V the paladin like 3 times. Did another sc and got it down to 1/2. The rdm went nuts too... chainspell+ blizzard III i think. Over all it was a fun fight :) the only thing that sucked were the mobs near the ???.

Who in their right mind would bother camping this thing? if u want those drops, just go to windy and kill carrion crows

i think he was posting for the sake of posting...
This guy is just like most of the other WSNMs... other than the GS WSNM (The annoying Tiger, Maharaja) they are all easy. Same goes with this guy. The only thing to look out for is how fast he attacks.. almost as fast as Stinging Sophie and Death From Above.. Almost.
so how easy or hard is this?? I would guess its not soloable. How many ppl i need? 3-4 75 friends be enough? or do i need like 12 ppl?
My friend needed this NM killed and asked me to kill it for him sinse he read NIN/dnc could solo, He went brd 70 to give my vield some speed and also brought a lvl 75 thf friend who was camping near by.
we got to the spot and killed everything close by for tp and i did some steps to get 5 points so i could use flurish voke on NM.
When we where rdy my friend poped NM and to our suprise he was hald dead even before i could voke of him. Once i got hate i stated castig some nin debuff spell but my shadows ***** before it landed and i started trying to get utsu:ni up instead. I got interupted 4-5 times in a row ( he hits incredible fast) and fell dead to the ground. the thf got hate and asked for double eva song, i got raised and joined the fight once again. i watched the thf tank the whole fight might have tossed him 1 or 2 curing walts but he was never close to dying.
So id say this is pretty hard to solo but not impossible if your not cought of guard by its speed

I bet all my gil on that Avesta "The Perfect Solo Red Mage" could solo this easily, he has taken down Hakutaku, Genbu, Cactuar Rapido, among many others, if you wanna see him play, go to youtube and search for FFXI Avesta.
