My killed this thing in 2 mins... I fell out of my chair noticing we only had 18 people.. but after killing we got no AF drops.. not one. Very dissapointed in SE :/ And then only got 4 AF2s from 6 weeks ; ;.

Not too hard a mob. You make a rotation in the zone, kill its more dangerous abilitys/2 hours (takes about 25-30 min).
Main thing that hurts is body slam. He won't last long enough to get to hundred fists or anything bad.
He can also drop up to 4 random 100 bills.

I can confirm that as you kill each Beastman NM, that job's 2 hour ability is unusable by AB. Obvious important ones are BLM, MNK, WHM, but the more the better.
Also, there are various other dragons roaming around that each do a specific dragon ability (such as flame breath, poison breath, heavy stomp.) By defeating each of these dragons, you also remove ABs ability to do that specific dragon move.
My Dynamis LS beat this guy (with 0 deaths, I might add) and we think we may actually have been the first NA LS to beat him on Ifrit. Who knows for sure, though. lol

It's a waste of time crossing Buburimu 80 times to get too many Beastmen so my LS didn't bother getting any. Benediction is the second 2H is uses so it's not too bad unless you suck so bad he gets to complete a rotation.
We just kill the Dispel/Spikes/Petro eyes/Body slam dragons and save 30 minutes.

Even if it's "undead" (personally, I don't think so)... I saw a picture of it recovering 30000+ HP from Benediction. That had to suck for the LS fighting it lol.

My Dynamis ls just got done facing this hellion. Thornsong and the stomp move wreaked absolute chaos. 100-200+ dmg for each hit from the spikes and 800 or so each time it did the stomp aoe. If there are dragon mini-bosses for those 2 moves... need to kill them asap... bad juju.

There is a miniboss for each move, we killed the stomp boss, but not the thornsong one, and yeah... about 100-200 damage to each person meleing it.

hmmmm Apocalyptic Beast dosen't very nice but then againe he could be easy, I woodn't know tho I've never bein to Dynamis im only a lv 52 smn

And the Houppelande is just a custom .dat swap I downloaded.

He does aggro (don't know if by sight or sound), is estimated to have around 35000 hp (25k Benediction and we guesstimated based on where his HP bar was). He has all 15 2HR abilities and may reuse them (he used Benediction twice, also Mijin Gakure dealt around 4000 damage).
He also has some other abilities; dispelga and the normal dragon type AoE attacks, although defeating the minibosses in Dynamis-Buburimu makes these abilities not do anything. You'll still see "The Apocalyptic Beast readies (Attack Name)" but it doesn't do anything if you killed the matching miniboss (who usually spams that ability).
