Easy to kill at 75BLM/RDM if you get aggro on your way to Flans/Wamoura Princes, just Bind and nuke with Fire IV. Sleep them if Bind should happen to wear, which it probably will- this have a really high resistance to anything BUT Fire, so you'll spend most of your time waiting for your recast timer to be up.

Also, it seemed to be in a real hurry to Self-Destruct, it smacked me a couple of times, I nuked 3-4 times (once it was bound and I was a safe distance away) and it immediately tried to blow up, despite not having enough TP to do so (by my count, anyway). I had a Sleep coming anyway, and that interrupted it, but still, kinda scary.

I suppose the point is this: A 75BLM can kill these, but use caution.

These aggro to Magic casting AND sight, not listed at the time of this posting.

They can also self-destruct up to 3 times before completely dying, sometimes when it self-destructs all 3 die sometimes just 2 die and more commonly only 1 dies. This makes it harder for BST to lvl on as it is hard to know when to leave your pet as some of the bombs may still be alive and come looking for you.

...I think that this is a Cluster type mob, not a normal Bomb.

Just thought that I would let everyone know how our PT survived an aggro from these.

After PT member aggroes these, I put Ifrit on them and use Flaming Crush which takes about 80% of one of the bombs life, it then explodes and everyone is in red, I mean everyone. So we Curega II and Ifrit repeats previous steps. BLM stuns the remaining bombs and we survived.

I believe these can blow themselves up 3 times before they die, so they might be tricky to exp on.

OOOOO does this mean there is high lv bombs in new area, for a bst like me to go and smash to death for 400 xp :)
