hmmm. i'm on Carbuncle server.. we hadn't lost 1 time until after the update because SE suddenly decided to do Emergency Maintenance... and they tried to mess us up again the other day by doing same thing.. damn SE we wouldn't have lost a single one yet.. but oh well
I know here on Cerberus we won a great deal of besieged battles before they updated it. so we almost never had the AS missing and when it WAS taken people would quickly get together a couple of allainces to get it back. Aslo, after each besieged people would imidiatly get together gruops to rescue prisoners, especially if this NPC was missing, although sometimes they miss just 1 of teh prisoners and completely ignore them untill the naxt time those beastmen attack.
PS: the only reason I don't mention about after the update is that I've been way on vacation so I have no idea as to how well we've been doing.

I have had a friend in my Link get sent to the deepest part of the Crawler's nest and I even herd that someone got dumped in Quicksand caves. And as far as the AC goes, Odin surver wins more Besieged battles then not. but man talk about lag.
I've found that when a Goblin is going to use Bomb toss. I remember Lethal Weapon 3, "Roger... Grab the Cat!!" (runs away!!!)

i had about 7000 imperial standing points after i bought the maps from private second class so i used em to buy silver pieces then sell over ah for 15-20k apiece. i made a lot of gil very fast this way. it's like farming for experience points
After using shihu-danhu ever since aht urgahn came out, I finally switched to Kaiduru-Haiduru (well, shihu got captured for like, 2 real life days, so I was kinda forced to). Took me 3 warps using silver pieces to offer me a warp to my nation of allegiance. I figure if you lose the option from using too many free warps, 3 is the magic number before you can get it back.

It doesn't state it here but just for peoples information, if the AC is currently in beastman possession then you will only be able to use Shihu-Danhu once per Vana'diel day.
It should also be pointed out that if you warp with this taru while the AC is in beastmen possession, you run the risk of being sent somewhere kinda far from Jeuno. I've ended up in the south part of Rolanberry Fields on top of a barn, in the western part of Batallia Down, and about as far east as you can get in Sauromugue Champaign. Also, I've ended up near the Kraken in Qufim Island. So, while he is still able to be used, be aware that you may have a little walking to do once he warps you.

Ever since Kaiduru-Haiduru (sp) (A.K.A. the payed warp taru) started letting you warp to your home nation, I started using him. If you use Shihu-Danhu (or at least too many times in a row) he'll give up the option.
