I can't believe this...I was going on an advanced job run on my way to jeuno and there was a mob of enemies outside and my invis and sneak were wearing thing (I absolutely DESPISE sneak and deodorize...) so I ducked into one of the ruins to refresh, which I had no idea was the absolute worst possible place to reapply my buffs.
The moral? Know your enemy, know every enemy in the area before you go to the area, know how they detect, the best escape strategy if you are detected, etc. It's the best thing you can do for yourself when exploring or passing through an unknown area...
