Just so ya'll know... you cant compare NM's to normal EXP mobs.
Never expect to be able to solo an NM unless your 15-20 levels above it.
In a full PT you want to be at least the same level as the NM or maybe 2-3 below it if your really good.
Don't try this NM in a PT less then LV60, NM's hit harder and have more defense and HP then normal mobs.
Ive heard a Ranger with Sleep Arrows can solo this thing at LV71 but it takes about 30 mins of steady shooting (naturally the sleep arrows keep putting the NM to sleep so you never get hit).

You can take this with a level 55 PT.
I know others that have played this game since the JP release, and go as far back as when the level cap was set at level 55. They would get into a full PT of level 55's and take this NM. So, I don't see why you couldn't do it now. :P

*drools* The best bow in the game, and you could use it at level 55. Must be anoying that at that level, you would have to have a party of 6 people camping it for 24 hours in order to kill it, and that would be nearly impossible to get people to camp with you, unless your in a very dedicated linkshell :)

I think a solid group of 55ish could take him. It wouldn't be easy, but IMO, I'm sure they could.

According to MysteryTour, he's a 21-24 hour lottery pop. That's a looong time to be camping.

What are you basing this on? Have you actually fought this mob? Guys, don't give advice unless you know what you're talking about!
NM's have on average twice the HP and way higher stats and skill levels than other mobs of the same level. The lottery NM's and HNM's are that much harder. A PT of lvl50-somethings will NOT be taking this NM (or any lvl63 NM for that matter), yes even if they all use 2 hour, and yes even if they are "skilled".
Personally, I've watched this thing take a PT of lvl62-65's right to the limit. They had a lot of trouble hitting it and it killed their main healer.

Add to that the shared trait of the Shadow Family to spam Dimensional Death on whomever they hate the most. Even against higher level characters this attack can do several hundred points of damage. Ever seen that Marchelute vs. Bloodberry video? Marchelute is a level 41 mob and still his Dimensional Death did 200+ damage to Bloodberry, who is at minimum 20 levels above him.

Not a chance in hell a party of 50s could take him. MAYBE 60s if they are good.
Level 63 NM.. I'd say a full party of low 50's could take it out without much of a problem. Wonder how common my dream bow drops.

what would be a good lv party to fight it with? please help!
commonly when you go out for xp you fight mobs that are 8 to 10 lvls higher than you for grand xp and if you have a solid pt you know its easy for chain so lvl 53 give it a try lvl 55-58 go pwn it no prob i would bet my character on it ^^. GL
But those mobs are not notorious either. Notorious are generally smarter, faster, 2houring, bust your **** open mobs. :/
