hey seef its sin, and seefin is right NA's claim this thing all the time, gilsellers are easy to beat.
so u ppl say that a bunch of JP botters camp this on most of the servers? not bismarck almost every day its an NA kill and a few times its been my LS but no belt yet

No you cant...
it can be soloed by a skilled 75 rdm/nin sure reg. damage from sword wont do much but rdm using En-spells is the way to do it. Im sure you would think if a rdm/nin can solo Behemoth it can this. Just will take forever. Behemoth takes about an hr for a skilled rdm/nin to take down.(not king Behemoth)

Figured I'd post some useful info about this waste-of-time-without-a-bot NM..
He pops like Cemetary Cherry. 21-24 hours after previous ToD, about a dozen or so Knight Crabs will pop simultaneously in that area of Jugner Forest (only accessable through KRT). Btw, there are no other mobs in this area, ever.
After all the Knight Crabs are defeated, within 5-10 seconds of the last kill, King Artho will pop somewhere near the pond, and will likely pop up with a purple name and claimed by a Japanese botter (though last 3 kills have been by NA botters.. go figure.) He's pretty easy, almost any combo of 2 75 jobs can kill, and thf/nin, nin/war, rdm/nin can certainly solo but the chances of claim w/o a bot are practically ZERO, nvm tryin to claim w/o Provoke or Chi-blast (no, Dia is not fast enough, srry. I"m a rdm who camped for 1 month without a bot or war sub... no dice).
Waterga IV sounds worse than it really is... its a lvl 55-60 crab... its INT is very low when ur lvl 75, lol. just takes awhile, he has a lot of HP, but Aquarius would kick his *****
Drops up to 2 damascene cloths, and if you are very lucky, a Speed Belt which will take another 2 seconds off of Utsusemi recast timer (really nice for Rdm/Nin...tack on dusk gear, get that ichi timer down to about 10 secs and Ni timer to low 20's, *drool*).
Goes for 50-80 mil on Ramuh. /salute and Farewell to a great Japanese Ninja who camped this belt for a month straight and finally outclaimed Shinepieces, only to accidentally bazaar it some time later for 7.5 mil instead of 75 mil, and had it bought by an old friend, named Xsoul (if you see him, /slap him repeatedly, he's garbage) who despite being carried by this Ninja's LS to his state of wealth, refused to give the belt or any money back, and so then Ninja quit. Yeah, you could say "that's too bad, he should learn his decimals" but honestlyl... a little frikkin decency and integrity would be nice to see in this damn game for once =/

There are decent people out there. I accedently bought an Item for 50k more then the going price on the AH. I sent the guy who sold it a /tell about what I did and asked kindly if he would return at least part of what I accedenatly gave up, I told him that he could keep some of it because it ws my stupid mistake. He sent me back 40k of my 50k mistake. He was very kind about it.
Has anyone thought of how well a smn solo's things ? I'm not trying to say it's the best idea in all the game, but i don't have much trouble at all soloing NM's and HNM's. If I go out purposely to do this, I go as Smn/Rdm for the dispel, gravity, and phalanx as opposed to the usual whm that I have subbed. Of course doing all the enfeebs as usual and just carby him around a bit, run out far enough and lose carby and cast ramuh, ramuh will hit him and take hate before he even touches me, then do Chaotic Strike which does decent damage and does one hella long stun, run out a little ways while stunned and release ramuh to recast carby. Keep blink, stoneskin, and phalanx up obviously, and attack, use TP to do Spirits Within to keep your mp full from using it for chaotic strike. Just wondering why I ALWAYS see rdm and nin being the only good soloers when I easily destroy crap much faster and easier than rdms soloing. Don't get me wrong, they can fight all day long, but a smn with a player sitting behind that knows his job can fight all day long as well. Just a thought.

Why is that ? I've never lost a claim or even had the mob go yellow. That happens to beasts when they have to release the pet, but since avatars are always tied to the player you shouldn't ever lose the claim unless you somehow accidentally target a different mob and perform an action on it.
yea, your right smn can solo mobs very well but most don't solo because theres a high risk facter of the mob being stolen.

Maybe because this screen shot was taken in 2002 when the game came out so maybe the guy didnt have enough ppl or maybe he didnt know wut it was and maybe it wasnt camped a the time....Like the use of maybe? ^^:

A 75 RDM/NIN could solo this, amongst a few other combo's I'm sure.
I'm sure you're server isn't much different from Seraph as far as camping goes, so if that's the case have any and everyone you can sub /war or some job that has instant claim ability.
After 8 days I really lucked out and got the claim.
Easily duo'd by RDM and NIN with any subjobs.
Anyone I had come help me camp this I asked to sub /war, he is very easy so there is no need to be choosy with subjob for the fight, simply for the claim.

it has 10K HP and it hits the lvl 75 ninja for like 50ish damage. and it did cast poisonaga ii i think. the waterga iv did like 90ish damage to all of them. but the battle lasted for 30 min they hit it for 40 per hit they didnt had any blm so i dont know how long itll take to kill it with blm. but all i can say is its more like an endurance battle. it was like u r fighting a ram with paper sword lol doin paper cuts XD

haha that party sucked so bad, i watched 2nin, thf, brd take this thing out yesterday in 10min, and i have a friend 75 thf/nin that solo'd this in 25min. that party u speak of sucks so bad lol

Ok heres the down low on King Arthro on asura server it is botted buy a couple **** but we NA tend to get it once in a while,, im a 74thf/nin and IT CAN BE SOLO"D.........!!!!

a thief/nin can potentionaly solo this cause i pretty much did me and a blm i tanked blm was just support to make it a faster kill...
but a thief can solo! just all i say is have time on ur hands thief will have to hack away 10k hp for a very long time
